Yes! I shouldn't have to buy a new PC to play DayZ. The settings I have currently make the game /PLAYABLE/ for me. I should not be forced to spend my cash on new hardware, though I am getting a new PC, no one should be forced to buy a new rig for a game that may already run smoothly with specific settings.

What, so you support advantages to those on better hardware but not on outdated hardware? I can see if you wanted equality all across the board but people with outdated hardware are ALREADY at a disadvantage to those with better hardware. Running at a rather low framerate is a disadvantage enough, and I don't see how you expect this grass stuff to be forced on everyone.

Unfortunately some people are in poor financial issues and can not afford to upgrade their PC's just to render a shitload of grass. I seriously don't understand your logic here, PC games have settings for a reason, so people can tweak the game until it runs well on their PC. Not all of us are rich, here, I've been saving up for a new PC for 2 fucking years.

Because sniping is the safest way of engaging an opponent? :D This game is about survival, and you have a lower chance of survival in close range combat then you do in long range combat. If you want to minimize the chance of your death, sniping is literally the best PVP option, as you can stay away from your enemy, and if your shots miss, you can easily flee. Once it is harder to do though, like when they hopefully implement ACE style sniping, it will be a lot less reliable and will require skill! This will dramatically decrease the amount of snipers but still make it effective for people who have the brains for it. It isn't a chickenshit tactic, sniping is a good way to engage people and a safe way to engage people in DayZ. The only problem I have with his post is that he wants super magical rifles that make his aim better so he can shoot running targets with 1 shot from hundreds of meters away.

The zombies are still super easy. They will only bother you / frustrate you when you are running away, as they can hit you from quite a distance, which can be annoying when you are trying to lead them to a less laggy area like I try to do before taking them on. Despite this, they are still incredibly easy to deal with. You can pull out your fists and take on one - two zombies easily, by nailing them in the head and then whamming on that same head when they're getting off of the ground, until they die. This game is now Punchout: 3D Zombie Survival Edition to me.

If you're not level headed in DayZ, I'll level your head with a round of whichever caliber I prefer.

I will now use this thing as my sidearm due to how badass it is, and when it goes click I can just pull out my FNX45 and have 15 more .45 ACP rounds. I originally found it in a Schoolhouse at Elektro, I then hauled my ass to the Military base southeast of Vybor and met one of my pals, we then started to loot the area, for me to slip through the wall and fall to my death. Not fun. Fortunately, the map is incredibly easy to go through right now, and with a Three Valleys spawn, I met up with my friend, got my 1911 back, and went to that military base again, only for my friend to spot someone, who was running right towards my position at the jailhouse, so I rushed inside. A few bullets brushed past me, I wasn't hit, but I knew he was coming for me, so I ran up those stairs and shakingly held my engraved 1911 in my hands. Then he turned around the corner, not even thinking, yelling for me to stop as I unloaded my whole magazine into his exposed body. Protip: Breaching is something you should do after you shoot at someone armed who then fleed inside of a building.

This was a rather short "bunkering" of mine, as he literally walked right into my sights, so I just unloaded due to the adrenaline.

Yeah, this guy was a dumbass, my friend saw him trying to open doors that you can't open. Perhaps he was new? He just tried to rush me, lol, probably thought my gun wasn't loaded, he had switched for his FNX45 when he came to the stairs, too.

Haha, he would have been dead if he had killed me, my friend would have easily pushed for a flank and shot him in the head while he was looting my body.

I know a server that has warnings, I mainly play on it, though it restarts frequently, but I haven't seen that many other servers with do this.

Hell yes. Get shot in the head, SOMEHOW LIVE, bandage your head, everyone knows you're a huge badass. Get shot in the chest, SURVIVE, bandage your chest, show you're just a slight badass.

Yes, that will be good, but people will still focus on those locations, even if there is high risk. You want to get the advantage before everyone else, and that advantage of a gun or some sort of weapon has a higher chance of lying in a police station, gunshop, or piano house then a civilian house. You need to get there, make sure it is clear, and arm yourself before hostiles enter the area and arm themselves there.

It is okay, Irish, everyone makes simple mistakes. Like the guy who dumbly walks right to the bottom of the stairs, to slowly turn and look at me, expecting a hug. He got a hug, yes, a hug of 7 .45 ACP rounds.

Everyone already bum-rushes the Police Stations, the Supermarkets, the Piano Houses, anything Military, the Hospitals, the Schoolhouses, and every other place that can spawn weapons for a GOOD REASON. - If you're in an unlooted town, anyone can arrive at any moment, so your best bet is to go to the areas most likely to spawn valuable things such as guns and ammunition, so you can get it before someone else comes. You can't change this. It is looting 101. Go for the most valuable spots, once you have cleared them, quickly head to the lower priority spots, then get the hell out.
