I know exactly how you feel, spend twenty to thirty minutes running from town to town, checking each one and nothing comes up. It's just fucking annoying, and at times makes me stop playing the game completely. -
Seen it, it's black, looks like a bullet proof tactical SWAT vest, didn't know if the other vests provided protection so I changed it out for a green camoed vest.

I used the search function, nothing came, do they intend to add these items? I would hope so, seeing as they aren't just used by military, my father had a pair of night vision goggles and binoculars as well. As for the GPS, it was actually made by the military and found it being used by civilians, so, hopefully.

What has everyone's longest survival time been? My regular server character has survived for roughly three weeks if not longer. My hardcore character probably about two weeks. I get on quite often and usually am pretty active (going through Elektro and other big cities.)

I would imagine if you wanted to accomplish this you would have to more people in a server, more than the average 40, can't wait until we can build bases and such, (hopefully). Barbed wired and road blocked roads to block out a major town would be awesome. -

More in detail character customization, do they plan on doing this anyway? I kind of want a survivalist beard, a shemagh scarf, to wrap around your head and also to wrap around your neck. Bandit skins, hero skins, just pretty much character customization more than we have. -
Have a friend hide in the treeline with a Mosin? If that f*cker decides to try and rob you, he won't get that far.

Well, first of all, you aren't going to be charged for the full game from what I understand, and second of all, it's probably going to be more once the game is finished. So, seriously, stop whining, because they aren't forcing you to buy anything, they aren't holding a gun to your head and saying buy it and play. -

Indeed, but from what I have seen from people firing Aks, they pack a hell lot punch, but aren't very accurate. :/

Found something cool! The AN-94, don't know much about Russian weaponry but there's hardly any assault rifles or semi automatic rifles besides the Kalashnikov family (the AK-47 and other weapons based off of it). Then again, Russian civilian weaponry is a whole lot different from U.S. xD

AR-15s used by the military? Police yes, military no. I believe the AR-15 was made for civilian use as it's not automatic, more like a marksman rifle. I like the idea of a militarized civilian weapon, but an AR in Chernarus? Yeah, way to out of place. I'd like to see something like it though. Police weaponry, now that's a fun idea. :D
