Have you seen the zombies in Breaking Point? They're speed/run is way better... imo. They still run/stumble, but not full out sprint. Agreed. They can still be fast, but not as fast as they are... if that makes sense.

I feel like the zombies went in a direction that I don't personally like, let me explain. I remember seeing gameplay videos of zombies that would walk/jog, but not sprint. I liked those zombies, they weren't slow, however, they weren't fast. Now it seems like all of the zombies sprint and jump, and I feel like it gets annoying. There is also far too few zombies out in the world, I know they've said this is due to technical reasons... but didn't they say it was also because it was a mod in the DayZ mod early days? How is it that Breaking Point, a mod for Arma 3, has far more zombies? I can look over the sprinting (although annoying, I feel like it's too fast) but, there needs to be a huge increase in the amount of zombies. I'm tempted to buy Arma 3 for breaking point to wait for the zombies to become a challenge, yet fun in DayZ SA. I guess I figured a Standalone game would have faster development times than a mod, was I incorrect in assuming this?

I kind of agree, but not the extent you do. I will be buying an Oculus Rift and it will most likely replace my monitor for games that support it. However, the gadgets that allow you to throw around a foam sword and walk in place.... errr no thanks.

So this IS supported right now? I'm going to be buying the 1080p version if it ever comes out. Even though it will probably be a developer kit and I'm not a developer xD How come people don't talk about this game when it comes to Oculus Rift? All of the current demos and games currently suck, I feel like people would be shouting about DayZ being even better because it supports Oculus Rift. The silence about it is weird O-o

How do you fill up the re-usable green canteen? I've gone into a pond, right clicked, only had the option to drink and cancel.

What are these epoch servers? Are they on the "official" server list? (by official I mean the ones on the select screen, I know they aren't technically official servers :P) Does stuff transfer between the "Epoch" servers and regular ones? Sorry if this is considered hijacking, I figured this didn't need another thread. Thanks :)

I completely admit, moments like those are what almost made me leave WarZ. But since then the game has honestly gone in a good direction. They are thinking of taking out the timer completely, it's currently set at 20 minutes... but you have 5 characters. If you're being killed every 5 minutes you deserve a break lol. Crashes have become minimal, they made sniper spawns almost null (mixed feelings on this one)... idk it's hard to explain, I don't know if sergey was fired or not, but I haven't heard of him in months. I personally think WarZ is going in the right direction in its own way, while DayZ is going in its own. I have honestly logged way more hours than I should have on WarZ, it's done something right for ME. We will see if DayZ keeps my attention more so than the mod. I like the zombies in the SA better, I think the SA is already better than the mod. (I only played the early mod)

Wrong, I also played War Inc. Although not as fun has WarZ, it was an alright game. War Inc had nothing to do with WarZ... except the engine. War Inc was created by WarMongers but they were funded by Arktos... Arktos had rights to the engine, thus Hammerpoint (who is funded by Arktos) could use that engine. They still had to code everything... but it's like buying assets from the unity store, many developers do it. I am not saying it's the right thing to do, but it saves time I guess. I have to admit there were times where I questioned continuing to play WarZ, but I think what made me stay was the rush you get from their pvp. For me PvP means a lot more in WarZ, but DayZ is where I go for PvE with a side of PvP.

There is a debate about whether it was so bad it had to be renamed only one time. It only got renamed once, and it wasn't because of bad rep. I'm not saying they didn't have a bad rep... but changing the name worsened it. But saying which game is better is subjective, maybe having a global chat is a game changing factor for me? It may not be the case for you, but it might be for me. Everything in comparisons is opinion based and thus no one ever wins. I'm sure this is way off topic, but I do believe you are the one trolling right now. In fact I am enjoying DayZ, as I did in the DayZ alpha mod days.

Both WarZ and DayZ have good things about them, I have bought into the alpha for both of them. The DayZ mod alpha AND the WarZ alpha. I quit for awhile so I forgot how to chat, as I'm used to the enter in WarZ. I am sad the blue chat was taken out, the global chat... I forget exactly what it was called. I'm not going to take you seriously if you consider people who enjoy WarZ to be dirt. People CAN enjoy games that you don't enjoy.

Lies people from the north go to the coast to hunt people without guns. Take for example the "wolf gang" or something. After killing me, I had absolutely nothing, they proceeded to brag about killing me and saying absurd things as if they were cool... They literally have to get guns and then go to people who are fresh spawns, they can't even take people on who have guns... To those in the Wolf Gang, keep killing noobs. You have no skill.
