Guys, I shot a guy 3 times in the legs... THREE TIMES, and he never broke a leg, instead he went unconscious. :( :(

In fact, I am camping the coast right now with a magnum just waiting on people to run by. Feels good when they come by and get shot. I hope a guy with a gun runs by so I can ambush him!!

I usually kill anyone I see, except the people in my team. We roll together, we dominate together.

No worries, man. Killing people in the game is fine, just make sure they don't kill you back. No need to apologize to those that are not as good. DayZ natural selection.

So, I know you've all seen the computers in Chernarus. You know, the ones that have been neglected in Jailbuildings on the first floors, and the ones in random houses. Well... What if you can dissemble them and take parts from them? Or take the entire thing with you. Then you can figure out where the street lights are getting their power from, go plug the computer in, and do some work in Word, Excel, Access, SQL, VB, etc... Maybe the devs will implement flash drives into the game, so you can back up your work and then bring it to someone else's computer and let them check it out. I know i'm firing from the hip while running here, but I think it would be a fantastic idea. Maybe I like doing these things too much in real life and want to do them in the game too, but oh well.

I never got to play the mod, but in the SA, I find myself inland with my hardcore character, playing with my team, and on the coast killing bambies with my regular server character. I get naked and KO people a lot in the regular servers. It's quite fun

Hey, guys. Regarding the mod, was there a way that you could hold people? By hold I do not mean grab violently, but rather in a relaxing, almost sensual way? I guess you could think of a hug, but I'd rather it have more meaning than a simple hug. If I find people in the game that I become friends with, I'd like to spend some time just holding them. It would be a nice gesture in a world of pain. It might even boost their emotional level a bit. Was this in the mod?

I have some basic turtle beach over the ear headphones and it definitely helps when determining which direction sound is coming from. If you can get some, GET SOME.

The goal of the game for me: Bother other players as much as possible, by any means. Beating any player unconscious or killing them if I have a gun. Or just shoot their legs :) Feels good

Bambies are fun to kill. I usually get naked and beat them until they're unconscious using my fists of sweet, sweet fury. If you want to find geared players, go to gearedplayersondayz.com and you will find a ton there. Keep in mind, they shoot on sight usually.

Also, if you eat other people you should start to get jittery. Make your hands shake and what not, just like in The Road or The Book of Eli. It will be a consequence of eating other people and make your aim slightly bad when shooting. Then take meds for it.

I think the spectre zombies add a new element to the game that the devs did not initially think about. This "power" that the zombies have give the game a more terrifying feel. Also, don't say this is unrealistic, because zombies are unrealistic also but the game has them. If the game can have zombies, it can also have spectre zombies.

I had this happen to me at one point, but it fixed itself after a few minutes. Maybe if you did not suck at staying conscious, you wouldn't have this problem brah!

I'll start backing up my realword drives. I will write a program that will allow us to port our realworld data into the game's harddrives.

Guys, I like the way you're all thinking. Seriously, think about it. If we could get a power grid up and running in the game, somehow get the computers running, we could literally rebuild the internet in-game. Make it how we want it to be; websites, games, other things B), and what not. In this internet, we could have a Chernarus network where anyone in game can have an account where we can discuss the game, plus games that we'd be playing ON these in-game computers. Everyone that has DayZ can have access to a pop3 or imap email address such as: [email protected] or whatever. Once we get everything running smoothly, we can make the transition from this realworld website forum, to the in-game website forum. MAN

If we can figure out where the street lights are drawing their power, we can set up our computers there and build a building around the area, once basebuilding is implemented, then we can call it the computer lounge.
