Oh okay. What really got me was the fact that it worked before, and now its not. Oh well.

Yo, so here is my predicament. I am opt'd into Steam Family Sharing Beta, and I have authorized my brothers account on the same computer. He can play every other game I am sharing, except for DayZ Standalone, and I dont know why. As you can see hes authorized. I authorized the game. My brother can play ANY other game, except DayZ. And he has to repurchase it, even though it was working before. Anyone know why?

It is quite an experience to say that happened to me, and i'm kinda happy that it did, even though its still bs. Ill add this with the collection of other stores of my survival in the harsh world of Chernarus.

Raising my fists up/running is further proving me guilty, when I'm really not. So if I did either of those they would've been more obligated to shoot me then.

I remember something about have all low settings dosent help fps in the take on helicopters engine, sometimes lowers it even more. I'm pretty sure it's like low graphics forces it to run off of your processor , and a setting higher higher will use the graphics card. I'm rocking a I3 4330 and a gtx 650 ti and I never go under 30fps in cities. Which is fine for me. Check postprocessing, that's a fps killer I hear. See if that helps. What's the percent load of the processor/graphics card in-game?

I'm pretty sure the sound is messed up, and I don't know why, but noone shot the guy. I knocked him unconscious. But yeah, I was just doing the act of self defence, and they think i'm the bad guy. fml D:

Yes they're planning on adding Zed hordes that would sweep through the countryside. But right now its in alpha, and they're working on server stability to handle a much more greater number of zombies. Once that's achieved, you'll see features like this and many more. Ill say around latealpha/beta/earlyrelease they'll implement this.

If they have a low internet connection, why are they playing DayZ? They could either pay for a better internet connection, join a closer server, or don't play at all. ~Just my 2 cents

Although having 2 profiles in game would be cool can cause alot of abuse regarding gear hoarding. For Ex; One profile hoards good loot, drops it somewhere on the server on the ground second profile would log in and take the loot off of the ground and voila.

Alright I have a question, I recently built my first PC, and of course I wanted to tryout DayZ standalone. I started playing and I'm almost completely geared up. Now, I feel bad because my brother would like to play too but he cant because I cant find a way to have two different characters, and wouldn't like to lose all my gear :c Is there any way you could have two different profiles on DayZ, with different gear and everything? if there is, how do you do it? Thanks.
