I am 17 years of age, mature yet still want to have fun, it is a game after all. Looking for a trustworthy team, not just necessarily one guy, who are active players and down for some fun :) I'm not the type of guy who will always KoS, but if someone is in a main town such as berezino or electro running around with a M4, then they are out looking to kill and I will KOS. I will defend certain players, but my main goal is to survive, and that does not always mean being nice to everyone I see, people play mind games and trick you, if they do not put there gun down with there hands up, then I will open fire, just to ensure they are friendly. I'm newish to the game, but know a lot about it, I know how to navigate my way around, where to get gear etc, I've learned near enough everything I will need to know, I am also a very tactical player and do not just run and gun. If anyone would like to team, leave your skype / steam below. Also your age. Skype is required as that is what I use for communication.

Could someone redirect me to a guide for optimization due to this game being absolute garbage at the moment for optimization. In electro I get 15 fps, it puts me at such a huge disadvantage, I know it is a optimization issue as I get the same frames maxed out as on lowest. Also, will the optimiation guide put me at any disadvantages, i've seen some people change viewing distance etc, surely this would put you at a disadvantage :/? Any help would be appreciated. I changed some settings etc and got like a 5-9 fps boost in electro..

My settings are as low as they can go, and even on the highest possible, I get near identical frames lol. Also, I've already tried doing that.

Ah, I do not want to start a flame, I really would prefer to just play on 1st person only, just to make it 'fair', but If all I am going to get to play with is 15-20 players, it is pointless as the map is too big, you would have to just constantly go to an airfield to make contact with people.

You can look through damn walls and ceilings in 3rd person.

I'm new to the whole DayZ, never played the mod, posted a few questions / concerns of mine on here and get positive and friendly responses. So I was wondering, what do you guys find better, 3rd person + 1st person servers or just 1st person? Due to never trying a 1st person only, due to it just releasing, I imagine it will make the game a lot more less 'glitchy' and a lot more fair, as people can not look through walls, see behind walls / buildings / round corners without actually looking, and it would make the game a lot more fun, however i'm not sure if that would be true, as I am unable to play at the moment. Do you guys find the 1st person only servers better or worse? Also will they be more popular then they are now?

When I am directly at someone at a mediumish range and fire 5 shots directly aiming at them, they all seem to miss, and I cannot understand why? I am a battlefield player, still adjusting to DayZ, so i'm unaware if there is a reason that directly aiming at someone at medium distance causes misses lol? Any help would be appreciated.

Another possibility is the iron sights are complete crap. When I was using a red dot at one time, my shots seemed precision.

I was zero'd into 100m? Could that be why or..?

Well I could be being a noob and have it zero'd high lol.. I do not even know how to zero, if someone could tell me how to check I'll see if I mistakenly set it.. but I doubt it.

Ah okay. I wont throw this away and find another. Just need to figure this out, I'll make my way to somewhere to find myself a new M4 and see if it makes a difference, or I may even switch to a mosin. ^ So the accuracy is a bug..?

I am using the sights, I never fire in 3rd person. Also I've told you the distance roughly, you do not need to 'zoom' in at all to be able to see them. ^Also, I'll give that a go I guess, I'll try find a new one. Is it possibly the stock I am using on it? I am using a CQB stock instead of a base, could that lower my accuracy / increase spread?

^ I mentioned that my weapon is fully prestine. Also I understand that I have to make sure the barrel is below the scope etc and I have to make sure I have a fully clear shot, hence I stand up to make sure it's like I am completely in the open. Even sometimes when a guy is like meters in front of me and they are climbing a ladder, I spent around 25 shots for one not to hit the target. I am really unaware if this a game flaw or something I'm doing is wrong. But I am near certain I am doing nothing incorrect as sometimes it fires how it should, other times it does not.

The weapon is fully pristine. Also, I thought it was short range, but obviously not considering it misses every damn shot at a range like that. Even If i had to compensate for bullet travel time, wind blowing, drop etc, at that distance it would make hardly any difference. It seems to go to the right, left or hit the floor behind them instead of hitting them, I really do not understand why at all.

I use the M4A1, An no, I'll be waiting at one position not moving until I see movement, stand up and aim, wait a couple of seconds, fire 1-2 slow rounds then notice they dont hit for some reason and fire 3-5 fast shots which also miss directly aiming lol. I'm talking about the distance from around Electro School - Grocery store aswell.

Where did this server come from O.o? I thought 40 players were cap, yet the other day I found a server which had 127 players cap with around 110 inside.

Ah a experimental server, well that explains it :) Thanks. With hacks being out, was not sure if it was a legit server and did not wanna join to get killed by a hacker, again.
