Played on a server that went from sundown into complete darkness with 4 people. 3 of them had lightsources. ( not me iam a retard and threw my light away at spawn, tho i got the only axe we had so that was fine... ) ) . It was NO PROBLEM at all. One dude even got the gaslamp to work. Just keep in mind that only "new ones" work and not something you had stored in your backpack prior to logon ;) I never did that before and it was a fucking scary and awesome experience.

NEIN ! Permadeath IS what sets dayZ appart. It should be harder, ALOT harder. ( but maybe...last night i played with a friend and 2 randoms and we all HAD TO share beans an d Rice to survive. It was a night Server and it was glorious...one of the best experiences as of yet and WAY WAY WAY !!! better than the electro fuckfest my other friends do all day ;) ) Maybe you wanna try something like WAR Z or something of the other Zombie games that are out there.

Cant give you enough of my beans for this good sire. But..have a can. I feel that alot of People view this as some e-Sport Thing and a Person i know even stated "i dont care about the game i just want to shoot People in electro"....no sire he dident "get" the game and will never experience its full Beauty and depth.

I dont think snow has a effect on the Z. For now i only have experienced rain ONCE...and it started slow but later i couldent see my own Hand anymore and had to look for shelter. It was glorious, especialy as it cleared and the sun came up :)

Thats another Point. HALF the fun for me at the start was that i had NO damm clue where i was nor where i was going. I found so many places that left we in awe and wonder. Not that the wonder is gone now but i generaly know where to go.

Seassons whould be epic. BUT they should be enforced through all Servers. Just as night/daytime cycle should be FORCED. I wonder how many People whould survive..or even..could i ? Hunting whould be the Thing during the winter as much as shelter and fireplaces. Thumbs up for the idea.

i stoped reading here: time that shit gets fixed... Anyways since OP seems like a cool Brosef i shall respond. A friend of mine bought it too and he just cant get into it. We helped where we could but he constantly nagged us to "go back have some Action" and stuff. We went North to explore a bit. He realized it just not his Cup of tea. Those things happen and thats FINE. You can allways come back in some months and see if anything changed for you or inside the game. ( wich iam sure it will )

Nein. they just take a while to appear ;) At the Moment storing something for later is just not feasable due to the unforseen Server restarts.

After hanging around electro all day with some NA friends i took the liberty to Show some fresh meats i knew the game a bit. and lo and behold we even found some other freshys and we spend the night together: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=219304595 ( ofc we cant cook yet but it was fun to see them assemble it and try :D ) I had an axe so i was the main Zombie killer. Never spend that much time on a night Server. We went from kamishovo all the way through electro and cherno ( where i played the russian Anthem full blast on ingame ) and it was alot of fun to Play. We had to share the Little Food we found for everyone to survive. good times.

We are not rude man. We where questioning your Motiv of trying to get up there. Second, you where too lazy to find it out yourself in the first place. We are far from ruining this site. Its rather People like you that dont seem to grasp the concept of exploring and finding out stuff for themselfs. We encouraged you to do so and lo and behold you found the way up there yourself. I think we did the right Thing and encouraged you. Its a shame you took our encouragment as "trolling". Have fun on that Tower...

Id say you are dead halfway up if a sniper allready knows you are in the area.

But if they are allready sniping YOU what makes you think they whouldent see you trying to go up there ? Or KNOW that you might try to go up there ?
