Iam 50/50 about the SKS, it dosent feel as acurate and powerfull as lets say portrayed in Red Orchestra2. Behind a mosin/blaze i feel alot saver.

Breaking fingers should be in. Also, there needs to be rather severe punishment for broken limbs. Not just put some morphine in your System or apply a Splint and be done. Hands must shake, constant moaning if you try to aim ect, ect.

mhhh...we currently allways get People droping in and out since start of the Alpha. We went from 2 guys to 4 than 5 now back to 3 playing almost every day. Me myself took a 4 week break in between. So thats normal imoh.

Also: ALPHA optimization comes later. Disable VSYNC and other shenanigans you probably wont Need.

If anything, larger FULL packs should have an Impact on your Speed, on how Long it takes to stop/crouch ect...

Ladies and Gentleman, fellow survivors, Stalkers, Trolls, Bambi-Highway-Patrol, millgear-fetishists, How do YOU use the crossbow ? ...i know you say its a POS and to be honest i left it when i found one. BUT recently with all the People Camping around berezino and whatnot i was wondering if that Thing might be usefull if one is the Patient type. So why whould i want to try ? Because i like varity. Iam sporting a crafted backpack and a crossbow and it gives alot better survivor feel than a pimped out M4, PLUS...who robbs you for a "shitty" crossbow ? I ask this because yesterday i found one and soon after 20 bolts neatly stacked in some Shops. I have read that one could attach the ACOG to it. Is that still valid ? Does anyone have experience on how to properly use this Thing ? I ofc need a sidearm for added protection due to the Long reloads ect....do the bolts allway vanish ? How much time to i have to retrive bolts ? If so Please share.

Ah oh you DayZ... On my way back a flying squirrel attacked me and i lost all my collection...but by chance and after respawn i found a crosbow and was able to use it on "baddys". What a fun way to down People :D I noticed that not much was ruined, compared to the other guy that got downed by a shotgun where everything was ruined, my victims clothes remained in a aceptable state. ONE can in his backpack was ruined tho. So, i dunno if that was just luck, BUT it whould be nice if the crossbow whould be the weapon that dosent ruin everything the victim wears.

you are wrong. weapon drawn dosent mean they will shoot right away. I have it drawn ALLWAYS on airfields or "hot" zones and have meet People that also had the weapon drawn and also dident shoot, all depends on the communications established. ( but also smallminds like you that shoot because you had your weapon drawn on an airfield....allways bad shots tho ) anyways..beans for OP for making me smirk...

The crossbow should be strong. The Long reload is allready a huge drawback. I cant remember beign killed by one. Altho someone tried on very very close range and somehow missed. Yeah but who carries 10 round m4 mags. I tend to have lots of my beloved yellow boxes and store the larger items in there. 3 Quivers fit. mhhh i will fiddle around with that later, thank you.

ok so...all optics for the m4 fit on the Xbow ( havent tried the backup sight ) and i now have 30 bolts and a ACOG. Hopefully i find more time today to test the thing propperly. Another thing: If i find single arrows they are meant for the bow NOT for the crossbow arent they *confused*. Because i cant put them into the arrowcarrier for the crossbow. ( or maybe its bugged and you just cant right now ) I think i will aim for the knees first...
