jup...that works at times. but than again we had items i dragged...still couldent pick up but my mate could... the "get naked and a imposter of your freinds" routine worked well right after the change to the system. As of now only 1 out of 4 in our group can... welp :D

Do you understand what they mean ? The Server architecture suposingly allready moved there. As for the Client i suppose we might see improovments after the new renderer is implemented to stable.

Yeah it seems rather random. Most of the time, if anyone dies from our Group we can only retrive random things. If the resurrected makes it back to the Body he can take everything without Problem. Sometimes oyu can loot them sometimes only one Person in our Group can. Same with items you seemingly cant pick up.

I think hicks said in that one interview that they< dont plan to implement it themself but leave it to "the modders". That Statement i dient like at all. Cant be that hard to make rope attach to a gun an than have it hang on the other shoulder...

I useally dont share lenghty Storys since as of late they follow a certain pattern. ( guys gets KOS, "funny" guy gets KOS ect ect or..hey i found LOOT ect. ) I waited for some time for really cool stuff to happen or a sporadic improvised Mission to occur. The resurection of private shards with a emphasis on the RP aspect helped alot. As with most Groups you start out somewhat friendly but due to the harsh nature of chernarus and ist various inhabitants you might find yourself on the wrong end of a Barrel way too often. We love the RP asspect and had great fun inventing religions or cults ect. Lately we got a bit bored of the lootruns and deceided its time to migrate to a nice RP Server. Our choice for now is the HELLGATE(FR/ENG) Server. **** Our Story Begins on a sunny day in Berezino Center. The Server just started fresh and we are ready for contact. We dont have to wait for too Long and the first wanderer appears. Sadly tho he suprises our friend who is situated at the "Corner bar" looking down the mainroad/policestation. The supposed assilant stops but dosent react to voice or textchat. Subsequently, following cleansing protocoll, he is relived of his existance. As we all know, Berezino attracts a lot of People especialy after a fresh Server restart. Now after the first shots ring through the old City Center another guy appears. Equiped with a vest and a weapon he charges at us. Again, clensing protocoll demands we relive him of his rage. There are now several freshys roaming the town all trying either to fight each other or locating us. As i turn a Corner i hear a fainth voice "HELLO ? Iam a medic anyone Need help ?" I tell him to follow me to a "save" Location. We talk about his occupation. Appearently he is ONLY RPing as medic. Doing lootruns for supplys and going to hotzones offering help true "Combat Medic" Style. We admire his Courage and commitment and tell him to stay put since now...all hell breaks loose. Gunfire, freshys with axes...you Name it ist there. We manage to Keep the medic save and fall back to use his Service. He is asking "Are those the bad guys ? " and OFC from our Point of view...they are :D He patches up my friend and injects Saline. After i come back from a short recon run i need his Service too. We than proceed to Hand over all medic Equipment we have on us so he is stocked again. We get the Feeling that it is now enough and the Medics life is threatend. The area is somewhat unsave with People hunting US or each other..ist hard to make out by now. We formulate the plan to do a Mission and ask him if we can escort him somewhere save. "Svetlojarsk" is his answer. My friends go out and recon the area while i lead the medic to a shed a bit outside. He is scared from all the gunfire ( this guy REALLY played his role so good i admired it the whole time ) but i tell him to stay Close and follow. One of my friends goes down but there is no time to retaliate, the Mission Comes first. Me and the Medic link up with my still alive friend and we deceide to leg it out of berezino into the Woods. The travel there is without any Problems. We see a freshy Body laying twisted on the side of the road like a poor roadkill. Not only one, it must have been 2-4. The medic is very nervous but follows suit. Our resurected pal loots a bit in novo and we finaly reach our Destination svetlojarsk. We help the medic restock once agaion and set up in the church for some talking. Again the medic in in his role as we are approched by 2 other random Gentleman. The medic tells them what happend in french and the new ones trust they are in a save Environment. We Hand the medic a pressvest and he thanks us for the escort and goes loggging off. We protect his Body until he is gone.... I tell my friends "Folks, this was awesome but iam afrait we have to end this adventure the only way possible....abiding the cleansing protcoll we must." We all agree and i tell the 2 randoms to stand left and right of me because we "want to make a screenshot". As i Count to 3 i see my friends raise their weapons and a short scream of Terror from the 2 guys...shots ring through the church.... ...we ended it in style. :D So much stuff happend that session ist hard to have it all sorted out in my head. The medic was awesome. He dident care if we maybe started all the rukus :D He just tried to help. We admire People who put some thought into their act. You might think ist a bit sad that the medic helped us the "bandits" all along but hey....thats dayZ right ? Looks sensible enough. Keep in mind that Roadmaps are just guideline and are not set in Stone. Nothing is in Software development. Iam still excited about this game. In fact we had one of THE BEST sessions on a RP-Private shard Server just last night.
