Fun fact. Chernarus is 225 km2 in size. While this is truly a large amount of space, it is still woefully insufficient to hold all of the f*cks I don't give about streamers being sniped.

I have a server, and no way to tell who is doing what at any given time (that I'm aware of.). How are they even going to know if you're killing folks? Game on.

If you want to dictate when and how a server restarts, rent your own. That's what I did.

And not everyone plays on your schedule. While it might be convenient for you, some might then ONLY have the option to play at night if all the servers were locked to an arbitrary time, depending on their work/life/availability. Nah thanks.

I believe it's popular BECAUSE of the advantage it gives. That which I miss most from playing on 3rd person servers is watching my nicely rendered player model move. Ah well.

Are you sure that stutter in the FPS isn't from fraps? I use dxtory, and am about to start using shadowplay. Fraps likes to take a dump on my FPS every time.

We're here to test the game and spot bugs. Quality of life balances for the PvP crowd isn't exactly huge on the agenda. That's not my opinion, btw. It's that of the developers. Read that little disclaimer you have to click past before logging in to search for riches.

Locked my server to 1st person, can't even get in the damn thing it's so busy. Clearly an unpopular choice! lol

First person makes more sense, given that the game is based off a FPS standard, but up until now, it's been a handicap to use it. I'm content with the change, and have switched my server over to 1PoV locked. I'm finding no shortage of players- and there are plenty of servers without it still catering to players who need that extra crutch.

As a fresh spawn, I'm just going to beat feet to the airfield prison, wait in a corner, and try to Ali the first hopper that spawns in. It ain't pretty, but it's effective, and it has the side-benefit of marginally discouraging hoppers. Know this, well geared kangaroos... On your next quantum leap, I might be waiting for you, in the corner, nekkid.
