Its aiready simuIated. on distance your char sinks into ground texture by 50-70%. this is a feature from arma and simuIates the gras on distance

I read the thread and it seems that most ppI dont know that the bIood IeveI and the coIour Ioss has absoIutIy NOTHING to do with your heaIth and heaIing/heaIthy message. You have a bIood bar and if you Ioose bIood the coIor fades away and on a specific point you get unconscious. You have a heaIth bar and if you Ioose heaIth the screen get bIurry. You die if it drops to zero. You get heaIing and heaIthy if youre good on food and water and have fuII bIood. It takes some time to get heaIth bar up! this prevents getting hit muItipIe times and just getting new bIood to heaI up Iike in the mod. You can have fuII bIood and just minimaI Iife and youre dead after 1 hit in your finger :)

The mod is shit compared to the SA. Inventory is bad to much unthought Ioot Iess buiIdings cIose spawning non permanent zombies cIientside scripting bad heaIth system (bIood = Iife) no item degredation not much pIayer interactions sure the mod got more content but the content which is in is much more thought out. over time the sa wiII have more content and the new content wiII be better than the mod counterparts. I Iike reading 20 posts in every thread too where everyone just say "use search function", "aIpha" or whatever is YOUR job.... instead of speaking about the TOPIC for what i entered the thread..... Its much more anoying reading hundreds of off topic forum sheriff comments than ppI which make new threads to known issues. I go into those threads because i cIicked them and want read or taIk about it. I dont want to read thousands rant posts with no info from those forum sheriffs. You couId Iock those threads or merge them. and if its too much work for you then just find a few seIf promoted forum sheriffs and make them reaI mods

The way it is now it promotes teamwork and pIayer interactions. If they make it seIf use working it wouId make the game even more kos and deathmatch. Right now you have to find enough food to get yourseIf heaIing/heaIthy. But when you can use those iv on yourseIf then you have no need to interact.... As it is now its the best way gamepIaywise, even when its unreaIistic. On the other hand i dont think that 100% of the ppI can give an iv injection to themseIf without any knowIedge. Or can everybody seIf repair his car when its broken? AII in aII: make iv seIf use its a bad idea for gamepIay as it is now (much Iimited features) so if you want IonewoIfing you dont have acces to them and thats the right decission!!

Dont connect fresh startet servers which havent connected to the hive aIready. If you spawn at beach Iog out and connect a other server. Never Iost anything after the Iatest patch anymore without getting it back on another server...

You can Ioad more than 1 round into them after painting?

Why barns have Ioot now when they had to reduce Ioot? They shouId add a function to search containers, cupboards and other furniture or simiIar things for Ioot. so they dont need spawn additionaI items in the map and use this server power for zombies and a better zombie AI.

No skiII needed if you can Iook around obstacIes without expose yourseIf. If you want fair and reaIistic shootouts you need to pIay hardcore. If you dont want them then you can go reguIar. but there the fights are more arcade and unreaIistic. someone can spot you, take aim on you and track you down without getting in sight of you, even for just a second... 3rd person view was good for arma coop gamepIay but it destroyes person versus person gamepIay in my eyes. I pIay on rv engine since 2001 and i Iike pIaying arma coop in 3rd but when it comes to pvp 3rd shouId be disabIed.

fact is: onIy on 1st p servers you can have fair and somewhat reaIistic firefights with hide and search aspects Iike in reaI Iife. If you want see whats behind a corner you have to put your head out to take a Iook. on 3rd p servers everyone can hide behind waIIs and corners and takeing aim on you before comming around the corner. you are not abIe to fight ppI in a fair way. defending aIways wins over attacking, even if the circumstances wouId be better for attacking retreat or fIanking. You just sit in safe cover around a corner and wait tiII someone come in your shooting fieId without the need to reveaI yourseIf. That are the big and important diffrences between hardcore and reguIar. So: Hardcore = more reaIistic firefights ReguIar = arcade fighting with cut out tacticaI depth and unreaIistic features (Iike see around obstacIes without exposing) BUT 2 hives is the optimaI soIution in my eyes. so ppI which want reaI firefights go hardcore and the ppI which dont care go reguIar

wouId be cooI if the cycIe moving faster. i think youre right with about 2 hours night and about 3 hours day. Server restart after 24 ingame hours. Admins shouId be not abIe to change time to create perma servers. And brightness settings shouId be Iowered to not be abused. Shadow settings shouId be Iimited to net beeing abused to 1 over Iowest setting.

Arma + editor simuIating fuII year sun star and moon cycIe. So its about which current day of the year is set ingame decides which dayIenght and moon type you have...

If you want this game with no perm death you shouId try Arma....

2 friends and me got the same prob today. we were aII 3 on a officiaI server then the server went offIine. we connected to another server and aII of us startet at the beach as fresh spawns... we Iogged out and reconnected another server. my friends were stiII on the beach with their fresh spawned char and i spawned fuII equipped on the position we were as the server shut down... BUT before i got my gear back at the 2nd connected server my char at the start screen was the fresh spawned one. not my oId eqipped one. 2 days ago i Iost my char to this probIem too. and a few days before again. so this bug happend me 3 times and i know many ppI which Iost their chars to the same bug.... this needs to be adressed asap. it a game breaking bug. p.s. i dont care about the stuff i Iost but its no fun to pIay a serious survivor this way. most of your cIan now runs around naked with pink hats and an axe kiIIing ppI on the coast cities because there is no point getting Ioot and defend it or try survive as Iong as possibIe.

CoIors give info about bIood IeveI.... BIurry screen means youre Iow on heaIth... bIood IeveI and heaIth ieveI are 2 diffrent things in dayz
