Dobryy mountain and Pik Kozlova. Even when I do go north, I always head back down to one of those mountains. I really have no clue why- I don't kill players because I rarely see any (and if I do, I make an appoint to make myself unknown (but I will kill if they get too close (too close is maybe 50m~))). I think it's because nobody actually makes a travel through there because climbing up a mountain takes a few extra minutes than it would by going around it. I think it's because I enjoy looting the surrounding cities and heading to small towns above Pik Kozlova (Pusta) for quick refills of water and a full stomach. They're also almost always empty so that's also a plus. My friends are also too wimpy (maybe too lazy) to head up north with me and would prefer me do the gathering (I got them all can openers, pristine (at least mostly) M4's and ammo, bags, blood bags and bandages, etc.) and would prefer to stay in places like the forest above Cherno and half way up Dobryy near the water fountain. I think I just stay around there so I can easily loot for them while they dick around. It's also close to Balota so when they die (happens often) or get launched off some tower due to a collision/noclip glitch (happened twice now) I can get them another M4 or Mosin if I'm too lazy to go to Balota which hasn't happened yet. One day I will ditch them and find a homeless shack to live in :D

Depressing. What's even more depressing is that I bet those players are the same person.

If I find fresh fruit and a fresh spawn, I know exactly how I'm going to make that dude's day.

On that note, might as well as bird traps so we can eat them. Another way to get a bird might be to shoot them, but depending on the round and where you hit the bird, it'll take off chunks of meat. --edit-- Another thought came up: Bird traps don't work all the time, and on a rare occasion, the bird trap breaks. Other animals may also trigger the trap (rabbits, for example) or destroy the trap (such as boars), so the player will have to keep an eye on the trap(s). It should also be setup so other players can destroy the trap with a "sabatoge" option as well as poison the bait so when the player eats the bird, they get sick and can die without antibiotics (just more reason to keep an eye on the trap(s)).

A trick I used: Sprint jump through the wall, or just keep sprinting on a wall. A trick I've been told: Walk up to a wall and press "v" (climb over), then log out before the animation ends (be quick). When you log in, you should be outside. Didn't know of this trick :o

It's actually a bit better now in my opinion. Now players won't just be killing themselves to get a Balota/near Balota spawn point.

Even with two characters, this is a bad idea. There's too many ways to abuse it. For example: Have one character hide somewhere far away from a populated area. Have your other character go to the best loot locations, server hop, run back to where your other character is (or not) and have a friend shoot you to take the loot and repeat. Since everyone has multiple characters, one person could stay back with a loaded character (or just one with a gun) and have several friends do the looting and server hopping. If this gets implemented when tents (maybe base building) is implemented, nothing good can come from this. There'll only be super loaded out player clans. I really have to say that this is a bad idea, because there's no stopping a friend from shooting that player. Even if server hopping for looting is fixed, it takes away the gameplay. Nobody will be running around looting with their buffed out character because they'll always have their junk character to do the death-loot runs. Multiple characters removes the risk factor from the game, and in a game about survival, that is a big no-no from me.

If you keep this up, I think I might have a new favorite YouTuber. It's fast, highlights the best parts, and the explanations are easy to follow. It's really just telling a story and I like that. I just finished watching your other Taking the cake videos from the mod version of DayZ. All of my beans and mountain dew to you!

This is what I imagine: Person 1 is walking with person 2 to NWAF. Person 1 looks at person 2. Person 1: "I'm hungry..." Person 2 looks at person 1 Person 2: "I have some bea-" Person 1 shoots person 2 Person 1 cuts up person 2 Person 1 starts fire Person 1 cooks meat Person 1 is no longer hungry.

I think you mean "bipod." At any rate, you just equip it to your mosin by dragging it on your gun and right click it and click "deploy." For it to actually increase your accuracy, you'd have to be lying down prone. Note that there's a bug (last I heard) that when in prone, you might shoot the ground. -Edit- I guess I got ninja'd :L

Holy crap If DayZ ever allows building your own base, that will be the location of my base.

If you look at the holster, it is no modern holster. It's an old leather holster. (though this one seems to be able to carry .45 ammo) If I'm right, it can go over a jacket. As for putting it over a vest, it'd not so wise. It can get in the way of mag pouches.

I once got out by just sprint-jumping at a wall. One of my friends tried sprinting out (without jumping) and he got out, but ended up flying the distance of Balota to Cherno vertically.

Bayonets and suppressors don't work yet/don't have functionality.

A++ for smacking the crap out of those guys with no fear xD I think the guy with the M4 spraying at you hit his friend because well... He missed a good 10 shots towards his friend's direction.

I say they're a threat in terms of how they work now. I could be looting in a building then "raraghagh" the zed just lilliflapjacks through the wall and scares me. While I haven't been killed by a zombie, I can see them as being a threat to unaware players.

Took this screenshot while my friends were screwing around in Elektro looking for foods. The bloodbag is my blood in case I get shot and survive the hit. The LR scope for the mosin is in pristine. This character has been alive for 4 days and I'm ready to die now. :)

You can't exactly read text and know if what was written sarcastic or serious. And if this truly was the case, how come you responded to everyone else by saying, "butt hurt" and "kids?" The only true way to differentiate sarcasm from any other normality on the internet is if you know the person's character or there's text to imply the sarcasm with irony or other diction. It's also a bit hard to hear what you're saying since the music is louder than your voice in some parts.

I wish for bunnies not making those zombie sounds. It's really hard to look at a bunny like "awwwww" but then you hear "RARAGH" and it's not so cute anymore.
