How the hell did you become a seagull? I haven't been able to play for a few months because my computer sucks. Also, is the magnum really that crappy? From the video, it looked like you hit most of the time and they kept running.

If he's not having problems, good for him. The devs might have said that there are tons of people having problems, but "tons" does not mean "all" or "every." Calm down, be happy that at least someone can play the game.

Mosins are generally found in civilian/school buildings I believe (I find mines in those corner-coffee shops). Not sure if that's been changed, as I can't play again until I get a new decent computer.

I'll note that the green spec-bubble-blurs are the bad ones. Good thing this was done in lowest settings because if they looked different in high settings... I might suffer the same fate as OP.

Because it's totally okay to risk your whole group or more dying to have small talk with two equally armed players. Everybody loots, it doesn't make them any more friendly or risky than an unarmed player. They have everything to lose, just as OP and his group did. He did the right thing by not taking any chances. By even just calling out to them to check if they were friendly would give them the upper hand if they lied and acted friendly to get his entire group in the open and not expecting any fights. I agree with Awruk, there would be some wiggles, and then there will be bloodshed. Just as it was in the mod, it is in the Standalone. There are different play styles to this game, two of which are the common: KoS, or as I call it, playing it safe, and being 'heroic,' which is helping others or being friendly to others. Don't hate how someone else plays the game. KoSing allowed me to survive for almost 2 weeks before no-clipping out of a building to my death. - Nice vid OP. Hope you got more mags out of those guys

So because it's not fun for your friend, it's not fun for any new player? One of my friends bought the SA and had no previous experience with the mod or videos on DayZ and he loves it. I mean, it's kinda like saying you tried a food and hated it, therefore nobody would like that food. Opinions differ from person to person. Maybe your friend should spend time running around and getting to know the areas first.
