Spawned in Kamy, ran around Elektro, ran to Cherno, cut up through the hills to avoid Balota, then came out of a clearing to my first above ground Heli crash. I have never been so excited (yes I have, but hyperbole's are fun). M4 attachment, M4 attachment, M4 ammo, M4!! M4 sights!! even an FNX5! So excited! Then I got cocky, or I just play stupidly. Ran through the shadow of Green Mountain headed to Zeleno from the south. I hear a bullet impact, then "You Are Unconcious!" NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I was so cool for just a minute. So I'm desperately smashing the "w" key yelling "GETUP!" but I heard death approaching. The footsteps got close then stopped. Then the proud a-hole goes into some sort of rant about how "Fucking Bullshit" server hoppers are, and how abusing servers with messed up persistence was as low as hacking. He also pleasantly commented on how he wished he could look up my address to come murder me for real, because he would make it slow. Moral of the story? With loot the way it is, I would have done the same in his shoes, minus trying to make it a personal affront. better safe than sorry. Also, server hoppers usually aren't running around the limbo in between cities, are they?

I've only heard that from people on here, so don't quote me. But I assure you, using a non in-game map is not cheating. EDIT: I hope you aren't typing a response to my response now! You can't put the completed map in your hands and "use" it. Once you complete a map, it will automatically be moved to your hotbar if there is room. But it has to be on your hotbar to use, and when you want to look at the map press the corresponding hotkey. Also, if you do use the in game map, just know that once you press the hotkey the map will instantly pop up on your screen (fills the screen), but when you get out of the map, there is a short loadscreen before you get back to the game. It's minimal, maybe a couple seconds, if even. But that is enough time to F*** some S*** up. A few times I heard approaching footsteps. I reacted as best I could, but losing that few seconds (if even) lost me my life.

Go back to Battlefield if you want to kill! But seriously, look for servers that say PVPElektro or PVPBEREZINO. They will let you know where to go for some killing. Also, look for a clan that does the same thing you do. In the Recruitment section.

Unless I am mistaken (nobody's perfect!) AK101's and AKM's will only be found in military barracks. Even then it's rare. Having Zele as my HQ, I frequently visit the barracks. Only once out of 10 logins in the past month did I find an AK101. And That time there were 2 in the same building. Even better, I found an M4 on a heli crash. Then I update, log in, and I'm unconcious, then dead. Now I'm happy because I don't have the burden of good loot to lose. Now I'll go make friends till I can kill** a bandit and get a good gun. **ONLY if I am threatened, or he has an M4. Or a sub machine gun. I still haven't shot one yet.

Yes. My friends know what signs to look for to see if I'm dozing off. walking in small circles is the when I start nodding off, but when I do overwatch I tend to accidentally fire my weapon. If that doesnt wake me up, my friends will.

Use any map you want. I know the scale of Chernarus can seem overwhelming, but it's pretty simple. But only use the map. You will memorize the land soon enough. But as for loot, do not use DayZDB, do not google loot locations, and do not trust what other people say about what they found where. To find loot locations you literally have to loot those locations. Is it almost maddeningly pretentious to say "The loot you need will be where you find it,"? Maybe, but as an elite I can say things like that. Why am I elite? Thanks for asking. Because when I first got this game, I found cities by running. I ran across the country, starting at a coast, finding another coast, finding places void of any tree or path or texture. Now I can sniff the air, look at the sun, rub some dirt on my hands, and, after listening to a few knocks on a tree's trunk, I will be able to know my current position.

That's in-tents, man! My girlfriend had a bunch too. I had to use the past-tents because she can no longer play DayZ. She is in the hospital, in in-tents-ive care. I injured her when I motor-boated her tents a little too rough this time.
