Nice to see an event like this, i would love to participate next time.

The Boomstick Authority loves to organise and host events and have the community participate in it. Actually the community is the most important aspect in the events. We currently have a Operation going on at our server and when that is finished (Sunday the 6th of April) I would like to organise another event on Sunday the 13th of April but this time I will create it with the Imput from the community and for the community. Everyone is welcome to join in on the event and bring forth their ideas. I would also like to see clans and or squads that can bring it to a higher level with Tactical Gameplay. Feel free to contact me via a PM or on The Boomstick Authority Website all ideas will be reviewed and I will update this post with more information and a collection of good idea's. P.S. on the 6th of April i will take the results of the poll as Event type. In order to get more interaction and more contact with the community the Boomstick Authority has organised another event, only this event lastst for three weeks. The activity can change during days, but alteast around the weekends there will be much action going on and alot of representation of the Boomstick Authority in our own server (details below). With the lack of current content we are trying to create a safe haven for those in need and for those who have valuables to trade. Operation – Nova Diluculo (“New Dawn”) After retrieving the encrypted data from the scientists on Sunday the 9th of March (you can find that post here) we have been ordered by the UN to investigate the infection on Chernarus. The Infection needs to be quarantained in the Chernarus area before it spreads any further. In able to investigate the origin of the Infection and why not all humans are effected by it, there is need for more research in the near future. Next to that the humans or Survivors need supplies to survive. All activties have been seized to resupply the area. The Boomstick Authority received the following orders. The Boomstick Authority will have to create a foothold on Chernarus and provide Humanitarian aid to the Survivors. Any Survivor must be protected against Bandits, Militia, Rebels or any other form of organisations who are seeking to get a hold on the region and subdue the people.The UN needs the harbour of Elektrozavodsk to deliver supplies and equipment. South Elektrozavodsk (south of the railroad tracks) is to be considered UN territory and serve as a relative “Safe Zone”. The Boomstick Authority is ordered to maintain order.The small harbour town of Kamishovo and the road to Elektrozavodsk need regular patrols to find Survivors and direct them to our “Safe Zone”. Kamishovo is an important town to reach the East and Northern area's of Chernarus.In order to get more information from the Bandits, Militia, Rebels or any other form of organisations. We will have to take hostages and question them about their allignments and structures of their organisation.Their is a possibility of friendly organisations would like to allign with us, we will have to investigate these and try to get in contact with them.Friendly Survivors should be asked to join our cause, they have extended knowledge of the surroundings and can be an asset for our future organisation.During Operation Nova Diluculo, Basic Combat Training will still be given, new recruits can start right away. Rules Of Engagement (for The Boomstick Authority members) Anyone who is a threat for The Boomstick Authority or any other Survivor must be warned before taking action.If you are being being engaged in melee or under direct enemy fire, use of deadly force is granted.Profanity and vocal threats are not allowed . Use of deadly force is granted.When weapon is drawn and the enemy is not listening or follows your orders, disable(knee shot) the enemy and secure his weapons. Only kill when there is no other option.If you have an enemy hostage, restrain him and use a burlap sack to cover his head. Bring the hostage back to Headquarters for further questioning. The detailed mission briefing will be handed over at Friday 14th of March to the Boomstick Authority members. More event information Operation - Nova Diluculo will be an event that will last for atleast three weeks, the closing event will be another test for the Boomstick Authority against "the Community" and will qualify as an BCT - Phase 4 event. The members that will participate will be open for awards and rewards troughout the entire Operation. Awards will be implemented in the near future. Operation start.: Sunday the 16th of March - March from Kamishovo to Elektro to set up our Headquarters. (detailed information will be posted in the morning of the event). Operation duration .: Sunday the 16th of March till Sunday the 6th of April. Operation ending server event.: Sunday the 6th of April (more information will be given in the week before the event). More information about trading and how we will accept it will be given next Saturday the 15th of March. What did you not understand from "don't buy and play the game at this stage"

The answer is competition, winning makes you feel better. But the way you can get a winning feeling in this game is different since the goal is survival and you do not have to kill people if you want to. And that brings in the difference between people and their feelings, some enjoy to just murder and KoS and some try to communicate first and get to know or help other people.

This is the Dayz SA forum right? It is not a carebare event, just a planned shoot out at our server. We have been hosting these kind of events before.

Somehow i did not got the time to add more information to this post, sorry for that! Whe are having a hard but great time in Elektro, some nights we can maintain the order and help out anyone that is open for that, some nights we have heavy fire fights especially in the North and Eastern part. Overall we are doing a great job, I lost track of our casualties and the bandits we took down but i can still say we are on the upper hand. Every night we are helping out those in need, it seems that most of the people on the server (that play there more often) know that the "Blue Berets" (and now UN helmets aswell) is The Boomstick Authority and are sometimes overwhelmed by the numbers they see. It is good to see that the members are using the things they have learned in Basic Combat Training, the newer recruits are participating in the second draft of the BCT and are getting battle hardened while we stay in Elektrozavodsk. Next week is the last week with a very nice event on the last day (Sunday the 6th of April) and i will update more information about that event in the upcoming week! P.S. Hectic and chaotic experience, when you want to grow your experience with the clan I suggest you will have to start working on clear and relax communication. Also pick an other area to start with.

To bad i could not make it, also good to see you did not had any heavy encounters. Seems like some people who wanted to do you guys wrong did not show up, how typical. We are still in Elektro for the next 2 weeks, feel free to drop by in our server we also had many nice encounters and ofcourse alot of Bandits around, but we seem to keep our positions safe.

Swingbr you are more then welcome at our server, we are currently around Elektro for the next two and half week. We do not KoS.

The Max range is indeed 600m. However with MP parts and a bipod you can easily hit targets at 600m and bevond, dont expect to get kills unless it is a headshot. You will also need to control your bewatering,Just make sure you have assigned a extra key for that (i use mouse 5)then you should be alright.

Our event is just different and with respect to the Regulators please keep this post for their event. As i said before we are still open to help you out Lone Warrior.

Yes you can at your own risk, we will not shoot on sight and if you are not causing trouble and follow the leads then there should not be any problem/ Everyone is free to join in on the server and come to Electro and have some fun with us and help out to keep Elektrozavodsk clear of bandits. Keep an eye out at this post here you can find more details about the scheduled events and when they take place.
