You mean clay or skeet shooting i can only put your pain down to not being experienced with said gun again i am old and i will spend the day clay shooting ( have my own trap go out back of the farm and have the missus sling them ) ill effects i suffer from far more than 20 shots equals 0 maybe thats just me and my mates though ( and maybe they dont admit to this pain lol)

Ah how long does this take to effect you i have gone on week long hunting trips where i have fired countless times and never suffered any shoulder forarm effects (if anything my eyes starting getting blury from scoping all the time but i am old lol . Not an idea i like Edit i travel to New Zealand to go duck hunting when in season and i dont suffer firing a 12 gauage all weekend or when i am clay shooting either and i am 40 and no longer in tip top physical shape.

More likely someone who was not involved in said duel will see the event pull out m4 shoot both and loot (probably not even loot) there is not alot of gentlemen in Dayz infact many of the guys who are up for a duel are KOS players lol . Nothing wrong with that i guess but it wlll kill any of this interesting interaction i hope you go through with the duel may the best man win (any rules on dropping prone after the 10 count etc id be more specific on rules as again gentlemen HA not in this game ;)

Nope i put the badges on it it seemed fitting as i imported and installed this to it (chevrolet performance anniversary edition all aluminium zl1 427cli/430 hp ) then added a twin turbo to that had the bonnet custom made with with tubing of the vents to feed the turbo through an air cooler to get a dyno hp of 625. Very little left on the car is holden standard custom rear end custom skirts italian leather interior custom made, custom sound system clutch brakes gear box drive train diff all non holden . total cost of the custom parts was far more than original cost of standard SSV it was so you dont like i put the badges on it when it has chevy motor mehh i care less i am a middle aged bogan with a collection of guns (ex military man ) when i drive past hurl abuse and when we meet at the lights ill laugh and smoke ya (40 and still a big kid at heart )/ Edit i mean smoke ya in the sense of leaving you in my dust not in relation to my gun collection these days i only shoot at targets oh and roos and dingos.... Edit 2 that gun you covert so much i actually own one lol its far from my best hand gun but there is something magical in firing it (even if it is at paper targets dont use it much these days as it sits in a you guessed it a custom made case lol (with a signed by clint eastwood poster from the original dirty harry movie witch i didnt get myself i bought it and strangely it cost more than the gun go figure....

A fine piece of eductation there (pointless but educational ) can you address the very real use of SHOCK on ones system as actually being the major cause for death from gun shots ( a well documented situation) again the fact that one infected with rage is not subject to shock hence the only way to put them down is vital organ shot or repeated shots causing complete shut down of functions VODOO not required lol ... But on the melee issue i agree but that has more in relation to fixing / balancing melee weapons not related to the zeds health.... Edit also the affects of this ilness making them weaker is subjective have you ever been hunting and shot an animal and seen how it responds to something that should make it weaker ( i mean its losing blood etc wouldnt that make it weaker) it becomes savage its natural body chemistry actually ramps it up to make it savage as hell the same as these RAGE driven zeds would be ....

strange id rather more zeds than more loot currently guess it depends what you want to get out of the game ( loot is way to easy as is even though it doesnt respawn the servers restart every 4 hours and again we have a 230 square km map loaded to the brim with loot.)

Indeed even if we run the assumption they are infected and not actual zombies they would be far tougher than they are now i mean is it just me but players have more survivability when shot ( i have had to shoot people 2 or 3 times when i havent nailed a good shot) the zeds go down 1 shot anywhere!!!! Again if they are infected with a rage like thing they would indeed still require alot more shots to take down why you say they are human yes there human if IF there just infected but have you seen reports of police shooting people on drugs (the 80s was big for this guys on pcp getting hailed with bullets and moving on before dieing from wounds. WHY you ask the thing that usually kills a person being shot (unless it is a major organ heart brain ) is SHOCK drug induced people suffer it far less and a guy infected with RAGE would not suffer from SHOCK at all so you need to put him her down with vital organ shots or many shots leading to complete shut down 1 shot aint going to cut it no way no how.........

oh hells yes and i am going to plat the thing viking styles may it strike fear into the hearts of the bandit who sees me down the scope. But seriously yes id like this a growing beard that and the option to shave it any way i want difficult to add maybe but it be really cool and allow easier identifaction of people...

now all you need to do is start hacking so you can get awesome footage(that and get personality he has that ill give him that if far to cocky lol as for his tactic to prove his innocence(or lack there of) if hacking was classed as a criminal offence and he was rolled into court this subjective evidence you say ( which in a court would be classed as expert testimony ) circumstantial maybe but you better believe he would need to be pulling out his archives of footage(they would have been required anyway ) he would most likely be convicted .... Doesnt change the fact what he does is for entertainment and he does entertain and thats what he is there to do so good on him but make no mistakes he got caught with his hand in cookie jar and seems to avoid Dayz now like the plague as there are to many knoledgeable experts who can see what he is actually doing......

perhaps, perhaps not how many burlap sacks does it take to make a ghillie?? if it is as i would imagine a very large amount of them do you waste all your inventory space on sacks in hope of making one???? there are other ways to balance things beyond just 1 ingrediants rarity if you think about it..

I dont mind KOS all that much and it will always happen in a game like this im a little against people using that is what would happen in such an event in real life as a reason to do it in game be honnest with yourself and everyone else you like to KOS no shame in that if its your style by all means continue on but stating what would happen in a hypothetical apoc as fact is just crazy by nature humans rely on each other to achieve various things would there be a few crazed desperate killers yes but i think you will find the majority of survivors would actually seek human aid company and skills. Kill and rob a man with a bag full of goodies will feed you for a while befriend a man with a bag full of goodies and he will show you how he got said goodies(hunting etc)you may say ill just rob and kill the next guy and the next to stay alive and what happens when no one else is left ?? honestly it just lame to use this type of excuse its a game and you like to play and pretend this type of person when im sure if you took a good hard look in the mirror you might actually see you dont have what it takes to be a ruthless killer ( heck probably dont have what it takes to survive long enough to get to this point. I served 8 years in the military and the one thing i learnt was it aint always so easy to pull the trigger on a human (most guys use methods to de humanise those they will be shooting at ) then add in the fear when they shoot back alot of people crack under that the thing i havee learnt from many more years of playing games it very easy to pull the trigger on a game avatar lol and its alot of fun......

Well i cant confirm it was a hacker or not only it was strange but i went on a mid pop server(22 or so people) and within an hour the pop had dropped to less than 10 people thats when the strange stuff happened. First time i thought nothing of it i was carefully looting NWAF and bam guy in gas mask mil gear and m4 with bayonet kills me i go alright maybe i was not carefull enough lol. 2 min later fresh spawn and on my way to electro ( hey already fresh spawn nothing to loose) out of nowhere guy in gas mask mil gear m4 with bayo zaps me alright i say its pretty common attire and weapon just unlucky . then there is a break for 10 or more minutes and i check pop its down to 4 people (its still very much daylight and in fairly prime time for playing in australia) and now i have made my way north and way off the roads deep forrest walking i have taken a rough heading by the compass i had found and blame i again catch sight of guy in gas mask mil gear m4 with bayonet he fires like crazy missing alot i am zig zagging through the trees trying not to be hit and what do i run straight into a guy in gas mask mil gear m4 with bayonet pop im dead. Maybe he had a partner in the same gear who knows but its less than 2 min later while looting a 2 story building out of nowhere in the open pops a guy in gas mask m4 with bayonet didnt see where he came from but he is sneaking straight to the door of the building i am in . i have found a kitchen knife so i am hiding behind the door to the room im in figuring i am going down but i am going to hurt this prick LOL bam bam door doesnt open someone has fired straight at wall i am against and i am unconcious. Hacker not sure but it seemed very wierd to have been mere coincedence but no solid proof other than same attire uncanny ability to know where i was and in vast ranges of places ( to far to travel that fast if IF it was same guy but id say personally it was and i id say he was teleporting and had some sort of esp hack on but just a feeling i get logged out..

not really big on the idea of punishing anyone for the game play styles honestly. perhaps the other side of the coin may (and i say may cause i have my doubts lol )help and that is add in more incentives to play another way more reasons to be friendly group up objectives that need more than 1 person to do (although again groups of bandit players/clans will be able to do it and still play the bandit way but aint that life. I dont think anyone likes being KOS or robbed lol but its here it aint going to go away im afraid you will need to get use to it to a degree it may lessen as the game settles (may loose some of this style player as they get bored and move to other games they dont need to spend hours looking for that 1 kill ( once people learn to avoid places like balota!!)Things that are extremely unpopular amongst most Dayz players may help also character progression ( hey dont burn me alive) even the idea of backgrounds to characters when they spawn eg medical guys are only ones who can use the higher level of medical ideas guys who were pilots are only ones who can fly choppers mechanics only ones who can fix more complex machinery (again unpopular ideas lol ) but these may slow this play style although again probably not as those who like this style of play care for little else the game to them aint really survival its how many kills per respawn (many try to sway its best way to survive but they know it aint its just the most fun for them in a game...

Yeah it can be done and was done by of all people a russian doctor in 1930 LOL but the process involved was well far beyond some survivour who washed up on the shores of a zed apoc. The risks and the rigmoral required to do it is exactly why the medical proffesion at large did not take to the idea so um ya going to need alot more than a pump just to get the blood out your going to need alot more than you can carry add to that knoledge you will not have and the answer is its just plain and simple a bad idea please let it go........

yeah could be lag coupled with poor hit detection in game currently (which it may not be bad it may just be bad lag lol ) hard to say what happened with conviction..

the strange thing is to be able to use an iv to draw blood from someone you need the heart pumping it the really strange thing is when a person dies there heart stops beating making it impossible to draw blood with this method you would need the jazz a mortician uses to drain ya blood with those pumps and stuff and well this aint even going into what happens to blood after death that renders it useless for anything. Hopefully this gives you the picture.....

Those stutters you mention do you by chance have volumetric clouds enbaled its well documented that these clouds although not really demanding or droping your fps but are slightly bugged currently and will cause stutters on many systems ( till its fixed id drop it to disabled for clouds you still have clouds just set drawn ones not nice moving volumetric ones lol . PS nice work on the rig upgrade mate

I dont know what there anti combat logging move is yet if its as simple as a 20 second timer who cant handle 20 seconds other than Crakka who i honestly believe is just saying stuff to get a rise out of people , Heck i spend vastly more time looking for a spot to log off in a spot i feel will be safe to return to ( yes i know no such things as trully safe but you can find a spot that minimises risk )

vbs 3 its there ultra expensive mil sim aimed at training soliders the tactics etc of a battle last time i checked VBS 2 cost a couple thousand bucks (that was quite a while ago though maybe much cheaper now. I would love to see this in Dayz but im not sure they are going to put it into a 30 dollar alpha not just yet lol but hey we can hope but you have my beans for the vid(actually didnt know VBS3 was out or coming soon

A fix for current rubber banding issues the release of there combat log fix and if we lucky yes some sort of shot gun (the ammo is there as was the 357 and it came in quickly ) but maybe i am being hopefull on that last one ...
