i never use the term friendly i may when i have the upper hand call out to you its usually things like i dont want to shoot you but if you move i will. I play with a group of survivours we dont shoot on sight we dont bandit play robbing people no need loot is FAR FAR to plentiful. I have tried to get some of these ubber hard men to come play on the server with me namely the hero society medical division or as i call them the chicken yellow gutted needs medical help division ( you know who i am calling out hellcat ) All i see are a bunch of tossers trying to stroke there ego pretending to be hard men ( well no not actually hellcat and his boys they know there chicken shit hence why the stay on the coast killing bambi) how about you rambo types actually engage a group for some good old fashioned PvP Not shooting one in the back from hundreds of meters lol. You know this group is taking up far more resources than bambi characters we eat everything that we find. My group wont mind even if we lose( i doubt we will but stranger things have happened but most guys kos and bambi kill because they lack the skills to engage in proper PvP) the people i play with have atleast 4 years arma experience( so use to the engine and how this game portrays combat oh and if you say this aint arma your right its not but its exactly the same combat engine lol.) We have lots of good loot kill us and it will fund ya bambi killing bitch ways for weeks but lose and we posting the trophy shots pointing out what bitches you really are. hmmm that is a tough one cause well the mod actually started with very small amounts of loot then it went up and up in loot then it went back down then all the spin offs happened. Basicly i am saying i believe( an opinion based on where rocket started the mod coupled with his expressed feelings towards standalone) that it will be as much a survival game as it is a pvp game so really if the mod had to little loot for you to get your pvp thrills SA is going to have loot fairly scarce enough to get pvp in but again if the mod had to little loot for you hmm maybe a tough move but honestly if pvp is your thing wastland is a good option. But hey try it SA only 30 bucks hardly break the bank and ya never know the drones of people screaming more loot on the forums may get there way we could all be only scaveging for less than an hour to get straight into pvp i hope not (even if there is few guns we all still pvp with melee weapons lol

he is correct it does not include arma it having nothing to do with arma depends on your view it is still done on a RV engine like an arma game (modified engine) but there is nothing included nothing to gift you dont need arma to play again hence the name STAND ALONE.

LOL good thing rocket and BIS dont agree with you then well its good from my point of view cause mods add content mods often add great content (not always but lets not forget Dayz was a mod lol and its pretty great content.. I dont believe you know what a mod is or atleast your understanding of it is some what flawed... Mods add content be it models weapons etc etc or they add mechnics via scripting eg maybe you wont be able to get wood from trees in the SA a mod can script that you can get wood from a tree with an axe etc. Some improve only graphics some balance the game different make zombies weaker or harder etc etc mods are not about getting an advantage over other players those i think you mean hacks etc. MODS or moddifying usually arives from wanting to see something that isnt in the game already or improving to a certain taste what is in the game.... The maker of Dayz is a man who is a modder dayz was a mod of arma2 ROcket is still a modder he likes to in his spare time do modifications to other games outside dayz outside the games BIS make. I am a modder i like to make 3d models and textures for games i am not trying to cheat merely making new stuff for games i enjoy and offering other people free to use things i have spent hours making them because well i like them you may to you dont like them you dont use them it aint a hard idea figure it out!!!

Seriously you should learn to read peoples post and know what ya talking about. I can stay healthy easily i even think it is to easy to do it i am stating be it bug or by virtue of the difficulty of server these messages do not show up. The example of how i ran for hours eating and drinking the whole time and it doessnt show healthy ( remembering i have never been hurt) you know what made it say healthy was by changing server and in my case i changed to a normal difficulty server with 3rd view instantly it said my guy was healthy as he always was healthy it merely did not state it in inventory. My god comprehension on this forum is hard to find mostly what you get is a bunch of blind idiots following semi informed idiots ( the creator of the video never recievied the healing notification hmm and he did a comprehensive video on the subject without knowing one of the main phases of the health system eg the healing one (slaps forhead)

how do you explain a fresh spawn who within minutes of being around has found ample water food and has suffered no injuries no shock no disease ( hasnt been attacked by zed or player) then continueing on for hours with plenty food water and resting not ever getting a healthy healing status.......

I cant be sure but try another server with different difficulty setting as i believed they had removed these healing and healthy status in the inventory but i had been playing vetran first person servers i went down to a 3d person server and i had the status notice again.. Some 3rd person servers are still vetran difficulty so maybe again there is no status in vetran or higher ... Or a bug because yes i have had eaten drunk more than enough to get healthy ( its to easy to get to healthy IMHO but thats another discussion lol ) and the status has not come up healing or healthy when clearly the colour had come back to my game...

yeah i have died a few times with no idea what has happened usually on stairs for me for some reason (in the stair cases perhaps desync causing me to be where i dont apear to be eg falling) but it has happened in buildings on the ground it has happened in 2 story buildings etc probably died 10 or more times in how i cant explain . I always talk and listen when i am dead and have not heard anything ( as in someone checking my body ) the times i have i know i have died to a player lol. Alpha bugs aye again hard to report because how do you recreate something that you have done hundreds of times but once in a while it kills you LOL

yeah and as a game intending to be a survival game then something in relation to these afflictions would add something to the game. Farting hmm well i can see the idea of giving away position ( although how loud do you guys fart cause i dont think even the best of mine would be heard 50 feet away lol ) but i am not sure it adds anything that outwieghs the stupid mentality that comes with it........

i agree on the no side chat . How does it improve the game having it ?? i dont hink it does your bored and want to chat there are other things to do ..... i wouldnt really have called this strictly a combat log does it border on one yeah maybe but that is just an opinion ( not stating as fact or that you should be burned at the stake for it. You ask why do i feel it borders on combat log when he wasnt shooting at you or even known you were there? This is the fine line my opinion ( not fact not a fire carrying pitch fork weilding mob) is you decided to interact with what happened you waited when you said you were going to log out, you drew a pistol and investigated the sound (even if you only went as far as the door) when ya said you were going to log out..... What would have happened had the noise been just out the door you had seen the guy with the m4??? If he had seen you and you logged out it is combat log ( and no one but the m4 guy can say he did or didnt see you ) what if he was right outside the door and hadnt seen you would you have shot him in the back. Thats why in my opinion your actions made it a combat log ( far from the worst one no one is or should bee butt hurt by this one) you continue to play out of interest of the combat going on then decided against it.. Real life calls we all have to go sometime but to have not been a log you would have logged as soon as you were finished with your inventory settings stuff not sought what made the combat noises.
