It gives your character in game beans saving them time having to scavenge for them LOL. Seriously as they say its just a like button or a rep button that you will find on most forums just because of the relation to beans to Dayz this one is beans......(back in the mod beans was ya main staple food early )

its refreshing to see a little common sense amongst the forums. Although i would hope that melee damaged can be seperated from bullet damage because yes this plastic container will not stop a bullet but say hit it with a baseball bat your likely to crack the case but may MAY not damage everything inside. But things get quite complex then so i doubt it will ever factor such things beans for you

Some of the guys attempting hold ups are just plain unsure of what to do when lol i like to play differently every time i die(almost every time) One example every now and then i like to play the jason micheal myers type person ( except i die when shot lol ) i will play some creepy sounding old gramaphone music over direct. Had this one fully geared bandit do a hold up on me the music plays i start grunting and saying shit like mother says your sinfull you must die and this guy just kept telling me to get get down put my hands up etc etc. I continued to walk towards him knife in hand he had all the ques he needed to know i was not going to surrender i was going to kill him and not in a smart way i just like to have fun. End result he did shoot me dead only after i stabbed him enough to make him go unconcious. there we were i am laughing and i hear him over direct in my black screen screaming at me that i am a retard we both dead now what did you get out of that i said a interesting experience. His reply learn how to play dayz ya fucking noob and he logged off. I thought to myslef strange i have been playing dayz since may of 2012 i thought the idea was to have fun some interesting interactions ANY WAY WE WANTED.. A prime example of how our play styles differed but one of us was butt hurt by it not leaning to his style. Moral get over yourselves enjoy the game some will some wont surrender its our story figure that one out and enjoy yourself or as they say maybe dayz aint for you ???? Edit i forgot to add i play this type character when the first thing i find is a mask and either a knife or an axe lol

This very much this lol also you stated your not stealthy lol so as been mentioned people will most likely have already seen you and are hiding pointing there gun at you deciding if they can take you should they take you lol Start being stealthy lol if they dont see you they may just wander into sight of you ..

Rv engines have always been a what the in regards to performance what works on one rig does not on someone elses lol im sure some one far smarter than me could probably explain why but thats what happens lol ...

I have kept 1 character alive long enough without changing shoes that i actually noticed running down the road my shoes had gone. Cant say it was definately the wear on them though ( id like to think it was he survived 10 days at 4 hours a day and had run the map several times over)

Ah very well known fact and back packs in backpacks will hopefully be fixed soon . I wouldnt recommend doing it for the extra space as well it gets difficult to find the items you want and even more importantly it puts strain on the server and causes even more desync than we have already .........

They dont lock graphical settings for just that to allow as many people to be able to play the game at semi ok FPS as possible but yes lower things or turn them off and it does become easier. the less details your eyes/brain have to filter through the easier it becomes to see other players. Lower terrain and objects detail and you get less grass and people stand out more it is a sad fact of life. I play as close to max graphics as i can while maintaining 40 plus fps i want the game to look good but yeah its easier the lower you set you graphics lol

I have already admitted to play more breaking point for arma 3 now than SA next patch back i come to test. SA will be awesome but currently BP has it beat altis is a bigger map with more enterable buildings it has incremental stances( arma 3) which is far far better than simple stand crouch prone system) its has about 40 x the current features of SA.( so SO many zeds its actually a zombie game lol ) I fully believe SA will be epic but i play it to test it the experience is far more complete in the breaking point mod as it stands. But thats just me i aint abandoning the alpha lol i am just seeeing it for what it is and getting my gaming elsewhere. The notifications when buying sa say dont unless you wish to support development to me that means play testing to find bugs etc and reporting them on the tracker what i do and then i play a little of it get bored go to BP i see far to many people playing SA as a game now specially new players and well it is leaning your playstyle one way before the game has actually become the game.... All just my opinions...

yeah it does happen and if he is coming at ya thats survival shoot his ass, when he is 400 m away looking for his first drink of water that is KOS. its how when you do things that make something legit in being survival or you really just want to death match ... Id say killing fresh spawns is really a product of what a person wants to get out of the game... I laugh so hard when people say stuff like there a threat they are compertition for the same resources lol . why well you shoot them destroying what resources they may have had and then bam they respawn so they still a fresh spawn looking for the same stuff you havent thinned numbers you havent saved resources you just like killing those weaker than you that you have not just an advantage on but a huge advantage on lol . They like to call it survival but really they saying its a death match mate so i am going to kill anything that moves ,,,,,,

Just a question if you and your group ( most likely fully geared up ) while entering a town see a guy armed with say the double barrel shot gun leaving the town in the oppersite dirrection do you pop a cap in his back ?? if you do do you even search his body ?? survival can be a good reason to pvp no doubt at what point though does it change to just shooting because he is not part of your group?? what can you gain from talking to a stanger an interesting interaction yeah it may end up in a tense stand off it may even end up in you dying lol but it will end one way or the other as hopefully something you will remember cause when you ( and i am not saying you do you tell me) pop a cap in his back when he is not armed in way to actually be a risk to your group its not really survival but straight pvp kos... Will you remember this lone survivour when you have just KOS him ?? i dont think so he will be just another kill when you have spoken to him you may remember that crazy survivour that went bible basher on us lol or wow that was some tense stand off lucky ya capped him (insert friends name)

perhaps a few more zeds nothing crazy but i guess it depends how stable the next build is.. liking he sawn off lol

Id say that defines a hero in this game handing out goodies makes you a nice guy for the day rather than a hero. When i feel the urge to play the hero i usually do it by hunting the bambi killers ya know the ones fully armed around the spawn areas hiding waiting.. If i roll into town and feel nice i may drop some stuff for them at a distance but i keep my finger on my 2 key which pulls my pistol lol . Try talking with them before you go father christmas on them a firm friendly aproach i find works better so they know hey he aint going to kill but if i fuck around he will .( made sense better in my head TBH)

i thought it was the other way around lol but not sure enough to state that can anyone confirm which way it is LOL in arma 2 i always got better performance shadows vh than low.

I wondered the very same thing strangely and maybe it is because of the rv engine i dont see alot of people complaining about first person in BF forums ( yes i play bf sometimes i just want to kill blow stuff up do nothing but pvp and that game works for me in those times). Or is it because they have gotten use to something they have worked into there play style and wont accept change?? I thought the goal was to be able to get us all to play together keeping full servers so it didnt matter if you used 3rd or 1st which with being able to see stuff you shouldnt makes it impossible... I have seen some ideas that really wouldnt alter 3rd view other than well stop them from seeing what they shouldnt so this motion sickness isnt an issue not having 3rd view isnt an issue Breaking 3rd view how does making it fair = breaking??? Honestly these people will never agree maybe make your own thread why 3rd shouldnt be changed get that one rolling and at the end of the day the devs will do as they want (which may include changing 3rd as there has been some talk by them to do so ) or they may not lol...

Ah animated opening of doors and a change to the ladder animation at the top climbing on the roof ( wants i have had for over 8 years in arma ) thought i would ask seeing you added bipods that work ( another thing i had always wished for in arma lol ) you never know may get my wish for this christmas in Dayz ( cant blame a guy for asking lol )

As the guy above said it is more than possible to find such in a house. i wouldnt mind a little spread to civilian areas but i actually want to have finding a gun etc harder less guns at bases less ammo lol scavenge harder for your gear lol

Arma??? i play for the survival the thrill of pvp at times some pve some fun with friends lol its a game that can offer alot of experiences not just one but so many just after the one lol

Private hive once you find a good one hard to go back to a public game i just found more interesting interactions on private servers. Suffered far less hackers everytime i went to a public server in the end someone would use some major server wide hack be it teleport everyone together or the gangnam style dance one ( which i did find funny specially when the zeds danced) stuff like that ruined it for me lol.

Id rather no name tags but more options to make yourself identifible.. Obviously more faces etc but also the option to wrap an arm band or any option that could make the character distinctive shirts with logos the only problem i have now is we all start basicly looking the same specially when you talk late game.. I just think if you want to be realistic in a tense fire fight situation a name tag is kinda well to obvious you could mistake a friend in the heat of the moment. The more options for changing how characer looks will lessen the chance. Friendly fire happens its a sad thing good communication will stamp it out mostly lol. If we are talking seeing someone from a distance then well depending on distance you might not really see his face to recognise him/her but wearing say a black and white check armband for that characters life will allow people to remember etc etc

sadly i kinda do the same sometimes i do a low pop night server but generally a fuller day server. I just dont want to gamma cheat but every time i have gone to decent night pop server i have been shot down lol in complete ( near to ) darkness and i am not using my torch..... Once i am on a server i am there till death or server reset or i need to log for real life... Ill wait till private hives show up( yes a long time from now lol ) or i find a real good public one i might stick but i choose now everytime i start .
