It very well may have been hackers but at the end of the day you got the kills you got the loot a good day dayzing in either acount. I hope you use that ammo wisely and not on fresh spawns lol ( biased as i have died again to a set of steps desync fall to death lol damn construction sights..) so if you see a guy in a yellow rain coat black beanie black cargo pants with a shovel save ya ammo i got pretty much nothing at the moment :thumbsup:

yeah most likely server hoping my best at actual loot has been 1 ammo box ( i found 2 more but had no use for them so left them ) it was pretty full mind you and i had 4 double or 60 round clips so it is possible properly looting to do that .( it took me 10 days to get what i had and lost it to a bug strange where is my thread bitching about bugs lol ) The running part could have been fist run it could have been desync the people you saw again might have been someone else. Alot of possibilities not discounting hacking they may have been just more likely the others though. Id say not hacking if they were they would most likely teleport to you in jumps..

Seems you already got an answer before you even posted.... Seriously the game can be played any style fashion you want i am not against KOS or anything else but when you start exploiting you already know your not playing it legit otherwise it wouldnt be exploiting now would it....

This in a nut shell really, do you think if it was intended to allow jumping servers to loot grab why do you think the devs would be working on an anti server hopping mechanisim. But even further if you hope a server and on the new server you spot someone and shoot them in the back do you think this is fair they havent had the chance to see you work your way into a spot in the first place ( i know just logging back into the server you play can result in this to but do you think it will happen more or less often when you start jumping servers.

Is that by putting the can on the ground to stabilize it while you go at it with knife and rock.. If so then yes i agree there it isnt hard but that would require a change in mechanics of the game ( which i am not against ) it would need a fairly lengthy animation playing leaving you vulnerable like all in game animations do ( which drives me nuts at times i think id stop bandaging if i saw i was about to be attacked again lol ) But that would fit the risk reward idea they try to install eg using this method takes time leaves you vunerable but your reward a full can to eat although the value of the mechanic vs the time it would take to implement would be wasted for very little gain but thats just my opinion.( I may also be mistaking what you mean when opening the can lol )

I will the moment you actually listen to what is being told to you , you were given a reasonable answer and replied with a dick answer. now part of you final reply here is to some point valid ( ps i didnt want to get all logical you did with your first post asking for more realisim when you opened a can using a knife on a counter as you call it kitchen bench in other countries which you knew). Will you spill any beans using a knife on a can holding in your hands most likely yes due to the force required to pierce the can ( it is possible to do without spilling but not likely ) hand shakes and spilling with a can opener possible to spill but you would need to be shaking like a mofo my dad has the shakes ( parkinsons) he can usually get one open without spilling it .. Why the stupid question you answered that you knew what it was when you said you have counters there. as i and many other suggested try doing it in your hands as your character does and see if you spill any ( spill any blood to that is) Troll be gone lol

Ah i just love how many people seem to want to find things to make finding loot easier lol your kinda killing the risk reward factor here. Why you ask the longer you spend searching somewhere the risk of being found increases the reward of finding something also increases ( although you can get lucky find something good straight away and find nothing more lol ) This is a game that is not ment to hold your hand be easy to play why does everyone need a map guide to hold there hands???? Just IMHO...

I understand what you mean but as the game has no skill levels etc gear is your level so they kinda make things to be better than others and its quite authentic that a can opener opens cans better than a knife hence why we invented them ....

I hate to rain on the parade i hope ( although i am sure its more to do with that nights particular darkness level) that its not i hope its a fix to gama brightness exploit lol. I know so many people use it that doesnt make it a feature it just means so many people like to exploit. One day you will need some hair on your nuts(atleaast the ability to grow it lol) to play at night will have to risk your life by using a torch lantern road flare or some external light source lol. I have a dream where all players let go of the exploiting ways LOL

LOL agreed but this isnt banditry .... A bandit is after gain the method they use can be completely varied may include using a sniper rifle trying to head shot to not destroy the gear they are chasing. In my mind there is no limit to how a person decides to be a bandit but to be one the goal must be to attain loot so if your shooting guys in jeans and tshirt that doesnt really make you a bandit that makes you a spawn killer a murderer ( hey if thats your kicks not saying its wrong just saying your not a bandit lol ) Ofcourse if you kill a spawn who tries to kill you while your robbing people thats all good your still a bandit lol ( people die in robberies all the time lol )...(no witness bandit is again acceptable bandit behaviour the distinction is if your seeking loot or just death 1 is a bandit the other is a cold ass killer...

good luck mate i have never done terrains but i have done alot of object 3d modeling i got excited though when watching an interview with rocket and he expressed a want to actually help modders for SA out . Maybe it was one of his good days and he might go through with it but lets hope......

very easy to find ammo for it just head to kamy you will find it on well hard bandit types hiding in bushes sniping at fresh spawns ( thats also how i got my current LR scope) no need to jump servers to gear up lately kammy has been a great source of fully geared loot bags niding in bushes :thumbsup:

As he is talking taking blood from a dead zed how do you intend on getting the blood covered this once before you need the heart pumping to extract blood via a iv method. Perhaps if you could get it from them while there alive lol.. All in all i am rather thinking this idea is a turkey you win some you loose some.....

the thing was already made into a video game by konomi in 2002 was a bold attempt that for me pretty much failed in all its attempts but hey thats just me maybe you liked it ???

So much hate on the masks( i agree they are a somewhat usefull thing to spot potential baddies lol ) i wear the surgical or dust mask thing as i play a survivour of what would have been an air born infection to rage out 99% of the pop . Yeah i know it does nothing but i like to rp the desperate survivour lol. As for end game it is what you want it to be kill spawns kill spawn killers explore for future camps etc do a little crazy rp and see the results that is sort of the games point it doesnt give you clear objectives beyond survival in your own fashion . Become the crazed churchy nut carrrying a bible and a gun to take religion and salvation to the un godly heathen etc what ever lol..

hmm ok ill have to try that as i say i dont turn down my distance i want as much view as possible and can run the game at mostly VH getting 40 fps in cites( 35ish at the apartments lol 60 plus in the wild) you may be right and if so i stand corrected. I figured it would work as it always did in arma when it wasa graphical option and assumed it would in SA( but i have been wrong plenty of times before.. Nope sorry just tested you can lower view distance and set file to read only and regardless of server your view distance ( that of drawing objects not seeing roughed terrain ) is indeed lowered. eg i can see the same distance of rough terrain but the objects in that terrain not so lowered ogject rendering to 200 m and zeds where pretty much gone till i was inside the 200m distance.

this can be changed not with in game options but with the cfg files. I dont mind sayin that cause you lower it makes the game run better on your pc but you sacrifice view distance maybe allowing me to sneak into range lol...
