I dont class myself as a KOS player will try to make contact but that is dependant on me being able to control the situation. Surprise head to head is to dangerous not to shoot you reacted in the safest manner... To any i have shot in this situation sorry i try to survive if i see you first and can move to advantage i am going to talk trade etc but the surprise run in on the street i am going to shoot and hopefully shoot first lol..

yes its possible to go from town to town finding them looted means you have to change your path and head to the lesser towns to find your loot and boo hoo it means it takes you longer to find all your gear , this is ment to be a hard survival game not a quick loot trip hit pvp game. But lets look at your solution hmm server hop so you are looting towns/bases across multiple servers making it loot less for those who have played the game as its intended. People have a right to complain about server hoppers your using an exploit your ruining the experience the game developers intended. Dont agree with me well take your arguement to BIS to ROCKET there the ones trying to stop or limit server hoppers..... Basicly you are scum who dont have the patience to play the game as intended it has nothing to do with play styles you can play any way you want short of hacking cheating exploiting and you are exploiting..... Dayz is not a game made for everyone it was not ment to be a casual experience and your chasing a casual easy experience find your loot easy pvp killing people who have found there loot the hard way ( usually by hopping into a server catching someone who has been carefull but has no counter for the person who was not there before but now magically is). Conclusion if you wish to cry there limiting your server hopping then Dayz aint the game for you thanks for the 30 $ donation go play something else cause server hopping will only get harder to do not easier so yes your dumb ass style of play is being limited it will ruin your fun not the fun of people trying to play as intended. Never tried but i am guess paper doesnt stack. Id be happy to write or read someone elses pages but seeing each page taks a slot its rather excess for room.. A multi page journel would be awesome or like i say the ability to stack pages...

LOL most people would hate the way i would like to have it which would be a 5 minute time out for logging ( you log and switch your game of instantly but ya toon stays in game for a whole 5 minutes so ya get in the shit and just run for a minute and log out not going to save ya next time you log in you will be dead cause the person will have hunted your now inactive toon down and killed ya. I wouldnt have a server hop wait time at all id just have each character saved on the server ( private hive styles) bang no server hoping for loot etc etc if you want to play another server to play with friends no problem you start again and will meet them on the beach and when you go back to the other server your old character still waiting for you . Yeah i know this would be real un popular but hey thats just my opinion but as this aint in the poll leave the timer as is it maxs out at 5 min wow that not a huge problem go make a coffee come back and your pretty much ready to go..

oh yeah i am jealous to but have to ask lets see a screen shot that has your fps shown and it better not be looking up into the sky. If your going o make such rash claims of FPS then provide proof

Agree almost completely except there is a way to play it wrong and it has nothing to do with style if your hacking cheating exploiting your playing it wrong lol other than that everything goes i even admire the runners of the coast in there undies makes me laugh every time i am playing serious and i see groups of undies runners....

Sorry for multi posts but yes a ssd is definately a plus it will remove alot of the pop ups etc that the game produces and it may even be causing your stutter if your hard drive is not all that healthy as it loads alot constantly off hard drive. ( i have dayz loaded into my ram as i havee 24 gig and have made a ram disk just for dayz..

Shadow play you use a gtx card so shadowplay is your best bet it doesnt eat your frames as it is made for the gtx 600 and beyond series cards......( i dont lose a single fps using shadow play )

here is where i am not sure clouds use to cause me stutters before but i turned them off and my stutters went away. ( fps would sit solid around 60 plus outside city but game would stutter) if you havee already turned clouds completely off i am at a loss what would cause your stutter ( well apart from the desync and rubber banding i suffer on some cheaper servers.) So turn clouds off ( dont turn graphics to minimum use your fps to turn things up and down till you get your best fps because as mentioned turning some things down puts them across to your cpu and that as you can imagine results in lost fps.) and try going on only the official servers?? beyond that i am not sure...

pretty much this and i am not sure what people are talking about head shooting them ?? every test i have done 1 shot any where central mass ( chest neck head ) puts them down . Really once you have a fire axe which is one hit kill zeds are just a slight time delay rather than a legit worry....

yeah i have an i7 clocked to 4.5 ghz and 1 gtx titan and i get only slightly higher fps 35 -65 . I believe it is still cpu limited ( not that it is using all my cpu ) but i can turn down all graphics and i get maybe 5 fps more at most ( by down i mean min including off for the things that can be turned off) Welcome to playing on a RV engine game i have been playing arma games for over 8 years there never the most um optimized games but then again they do alot of things many other games dont. Honestly stop watching the fps because to me around 40 fps seems pretty smooth on a rv engine. The stuttering often happens with the clouds turned on ( still havent checked if this has been resolved lol ) but really turns the fps on screen off (ctrl alt f) and play and see if it feels smooth rather than expect high fps. PS i get over 160 fps on BF4 maxed graphics but i am happy with how the game feels with my 35-65 on dayz i just dont look at the fps and it feels smooth...

You already stated one of the biggest game reasons there will never be a death cam or last blinking view in direction you died. Now why not on a realisim level well say your shot in the back why on earth when you fall would you turn completely around to see where you died from ?? If you are killed outright or unconcious and then dead i would suspect you would see very little of anything lol oh and if you come with the many people take a long time to die and can see and talk true very true but it this game when your in that state you have the advantage of being able to still fight run and heal yourself lol . Please dont take a game which tries to be authentic ( not realistic its not even close really ) and turn it into a complete cluster fuck with stupid death cams etc.....

guns should match there real life counter part as close as the game can make them ( it is built on the engine made for sand box mil sims lol) they can balance these guns by there spawn rate where they spawn etc. A game like this should never balance to be fair if i am lucky and i have found an AKM and i meet you and you have a hand made bow chances are i am going to kill you unless your real good or real lucky. Dont start battle field balancing weapons please it just sucks ( i like BF but for a very different experience to Dayz.....

Ok let me say Dayz is a game and as such if KOS is how you wish to play then by all means go for it you add tension to the game lol zeds are never as big a threat as a crazed moron with a gun .... But lets talk about your post hmm New York one of the most civilised cities in the world yeah right a city that had been built on a history of violence a history of racial religous violence a city that at times has required massive military action ( granted in its early days) a city that has a huge murder rate a city that has a huge crime rate. Now lets look at say some cities that are not as well wealthy shall ill use perth western australia does it have murder yes does it have crime oh hell yes but a drop in the ocean compared to one of the most civilised cities in the world New York LOL. A few years ago we had a storm that knocked the power out for 5 days strange we didnt have rioting in the street hmm what did we have oh thats right we had neighbours helping neighbours cleaning giving shelter to the ones who lost there house. We had people from other states coming across to help there fellow countrymen in there time of need ( not rob or kill them ). Is Australias military as strong as a americas not not even close its strange our goverment seems more intent on spending its money on Medicare so everyone has the ability to get life saving or just life improving medical treatment regardless of there finiancial situation. We dont recognize ourselves as the police of the world going into countries ( rightly or wrongly ) telling them how they should play in there own country saying its to protect the world when its really to protect your oil interests..... If your going to call your selves civilised maybe you should look at other places first and hold yourselves to higher standard ( ps i was sent to iraq in the early 90s as australia does have an agreement of military aid) and many of the american troops i met were good people i also met alot of guys who were just itching to kill some rag heads as they so civilisedly pointed out ( yes i know thats not a real word you get the point.)

Yeah started in may 2012 on the mod enjoyed every minute of it ( still play dayz mods only for arma 3 now eg Breaking point). Enjoying the stand alone also hoping Rocket sticks to his guns and doesnt try to please the masses to much with the standalone. When the mods of the mod came some added some good stuff and some went way WAY over the top ( epoch which had some good things but it was no longer a survival game lol ) Can confirm the hero /bandit skins ment very very little lol i got KOS as often by a hero as i did a bandit ( they would just kill alot of zeds and or heal there friends to get there humanity back.

while he is at it he better chuck me around 50 k to so i can extend my house cause i also play Dayz with my wife ( she aint the best but she getting better and better). Meta gaming is not perfect sure but in the scheme of cheating lol it rates pretty darn low infact id say it is a bigger crime to be a forum Dayz nazi than it is to use team speak but thats just IMHO.

I know you were probably joking with this suggestion and i think 6 hours is probably to long but i do believe a lock out after death would help . I know i have a break after the death of a long lived character many dont but this would actuall solve a few problems such as death not having any sting in it when you group play and can run back to your body. Now i dont mind KOS as it is needed to add tension to the game but levels maybea little high currently (just my opinion) a lock out of say an hour may MAY lessen it or atleast have you think twice with your charcter (initially it may increase KOS till the sting of death hits a few people)

COD BF and pretty much every other first person shooter trains you to KOS sure some people play that way because of this some people play that way because it is dayz and they know the death really hurts lol its there right to play as they wish they paid 30$ to .... You can still play friendly just not stupid assume the person you see is hostile stalk them get into an advantagous position then declare yourself go from there. When moving around assume hostiles and be a little stealthy .... PS there is no such thing as pve only or no KOS server its pretty clear in the current server rules that you cant dictate play styles (and these servers will only attract bandits seeking easy prey dont make yourself easy.....

It is hardly hard earned currently still very Very easy to gear up and to be honest i thought we would get a wipe every major patch. Its alpha guys expect to be starting over and over again to test there item economy in game. thats what we here for to play test not to just play remember that warning to not buy unless you wish to support development well one of the things needed to do that is to test there economy levels every time they change spawn rates..

I almost feel like an idiot , i dont know how to duplicate but some how i have managed to duplicate my character spotted this dup and tried talking to it and it didnt talk back but it didnt move either, i figured afk so i waited 10 min watching lol. Finally gave up and shot it (looked like it had some good gear as it had same mil gear on as me) while checking the body i realized it was me as it had everything i did. Yes i Know i must be a moron lol....

not sure how to explain it but i often call them ghost players on several servers i have found ( and now avoid) i see people running comp-letely oblivious of everything and 1 i saw as a new spawn ran straight into the ocean ( he continued running across the bottom of the ocean disapeared then was running again in the rough same angle a little further north. Its stops so i am not sure what caused it but my guess is this was one of those ghosts ( they dont really exisit you cant shoot them etc). its like you are watching a mirror image of someone running somewhere else but his image is infront of you .( sorry no tech explanation of what may cause it but again seen several on bad servers....
