yeah wont improve your FPS at all it will cut down on pop ups (the sudden appearance of plants etc) as it loads data quicker... I wouldnt hold my breathe on huge optimizations will it get better yes will it get alot better probably not hope i am wrong but they have been working with RV engine what 12 years?? Yet have never cracked performance issues greatly..

If you logged in while the server connection to hive was down and then tried multiple servers and each time you did you got the default start message i got some bad news for you there is a good chance you have wiped your character.. the more servers you tried the bigger the chance that one of these fresh starts will over write the hive when it comes back up if ya still playing frsh character during re connect..( exactly what i did when they had first hive maintenance) they warned with this patch that the hive would be down at 12gmt for for this. It was written at the top of this very forum... I wish you luck but be ready to loose your character hope it doesnt but like i say it happened to me and several other people i know during last maintenance.... Its not hard to restart though took me all of 2 hours to be basicly fully mil geared up (minus LRS which i havent found again in week lol although have found a pristine acog if anyone on a hardcore server wishes to swap for a worn or better LRS lol...

sometimes i run solo sometimes i run with my arma clan. we usually number between 8 to 12 players the method we usually use is 2 main colums 200 yards apart(side by side) with 1 man on point( 3 to 4 hundred yards in front) and 1 rear guard.(200 yards further back) we split coms between the 2 main groups with a third command channel that collum leads and point and rear use. with a solo point man we can maintain stealth usually as he is the most effective spotter so he feeds info to collum leads who then order accordingly there men into position to flank any possible combatants. rear guard is main medic carrying supplies and each collum man carries basics with 1 allocated imediate medic eg carry salines etc. This way we maintain a certain level of stealth are able to respond with deadly force to almost any ambush and can easily control small towns for easy looting. it makes the game fun as we must move with purpose as food is a constant need for a group this size yes if things run low we will resort to banditry hint if we hold you up give us your food and leave or you will die(maybe you take some with you but you will die)

lol of course we want this i want 50 plus zeds at balota 70 plus at nwaf maybe 30 at neaf etc etc and i want them fast moving hard hitting hard to kill suckers work for your mil loot group up or sneak in ( they need to figure there AI to work beyond being super spotters or complete retards as they are now) i dont want people camping these areas....

SHHHHH dont teach the noobs to find loot i might have to spend more than an hour on a full pop server to gear up if any of them learn there is actually loot thats not on the coast..

You pay for a server that is honestly great i wish your server well but i think your calling everyone hoppers what because they dont donate to play or play exclusively on your server. Doing that is pointless untill private hive servers come in where you will be able to password protect your server have far more control over it can be active in banning stopping hackers. Till then you provide just another open public server which one day i may log into your server and play for a few hours log out the next i might choose another cause it has a higher pop . That is not classed as server hopping server hopping is when you loot a high loot area then jump straight away to another server to loot same place again. Im sorry your butt hurt honestly i am but perhaps close your server down till you are able to run a private server then you will have somethingi would be willing to donate my money to .....(assuming you run it right nd not like a douche which i get the feeling you will from ya butthurt posts

Best you learn to post on a forum then Mr touchy (usually hositility like this comes when some one is caught talking out there ass) you never specified a moving target you mentioned only a range. as for the 30m moving target hmm im a little more experienced (8 years in the Australian army) im happy to try my side arm on you while you run at a range of thirty meters i give myself a decent chance of wounding if not out right killling you but maybe you just suck at small arms fire aye????

lol my wife with no gun experience at all had no problem hitting a target at 25 m when i took her to a range using 9mm using 44magnum using .45 all of that standing. have to ask do you have any experience with guns????

I do wish they had gone the path of sway rather than overly excessive bullet dispersion . Sway makes more sense in the hands of an un trained shooter and with the inclusion of bipods it makes more sense to me than bullet dispersion balancing...... But i am no dev so i can only guess at there intent with bullets dispersion...

yeah at times i wish civilian cloths had as much storage room as mil gear lol i have a great fishing jacket that will hold as much gear as any mil jacket with webbing on it .... All i can say is i hope to run into you one day where i get the jump on you after a short chat i may restore your faith in people in mil cloths( i go the green new zealand beret rather than a balistic helm purely cause i think it looks cooler( the protection the helm gives is an advanatage i am will to give up for looks lol .)

LOL i have full TTkso gear and i dont server hop ( its pretty easy to get start in berez head to riffy across to neaf then across to the mil base by stary then north to NWAF if you live then by the end of the trip you have full mil gear no server hopping needed. I dont love to KOS i do KOS in airfields and mil bases there pretty much hot spots so i make no apologies for doing it there anywhere else ill try get the jump on ya so i can talk and if the talk goes well ill trade etc with you ( often doesnt go well true KOS players usually dont talk or try run or try shoot at first contact and at that i kill them ( or try to lol) Mil gear is the best gear for storage for protection why should i not wear it because you think it makes me look like a kos bandit???? basicly if you shoot me cause you see what i am wearing without finding out what i am that makes you a KOS bandit try dress it up any way you like but them the facts.... I judge a person by his actions not his cloths worked for me in the mod works for me in SA ( there were just as many KOS bandits with the hero skin as the bandit one to easy to farm humanity and they used it to get people to lower there guard. other side of the coin plenty of good players got the bandit skin merely from protecting themselves from these hero bandits or general survivours. the whole humanity system off the mod was broken easily exploitable and just gave people a easy way out when they wanted to shoot people....

Another self confessed expert lol i like feeding the trolls they make such good pets. You have been asked to supply your server cause yes many people wish to play your little group. I roll in a group of 5 to 10 players all with atleast 4 years arma experience we enjoy a good bit of PVP with a reason ( you trying to own a town is a good reason .) The only problem with the log out is yes the bug where it is not saving most current location fix that and the system works lol The log out timer was made to stop or limit combat logging being able to see in game while waiting to log out as has been mentioned allows you to react to the person your trying to combat log on ... Easy solution dont be a coward and log in combat or is that to much common sense?????

Ah not sure you right there its just an opinion but the way the game is it feels like its very soon after the zed out break . Not saying i am right either its just a feeling and why you ask well the sceene you face your on the beach with nothing but a torch if it was set long after the outbreak why am i on the beach starving with just a torch how did i last this long with just a torch???? ( a back ground story would help figure this out) The world does not look decayed enough to be long after the outbreak cities still seem mostly intact wear and tear on buildings seems normal run down poor area of eastern europe rather than years after zed out break , what little signs we have of a zed outbreak seem very fresh eg the blood on walls floors etc its still a very redish blood blood doesnt stay that colour for long would be more of a brownish stain after any length of time. The fact we still find fresh fruit in houses etc etc to me it feels no more than 1 month after outbreak but thats just me.....

BOO HOO report the server for admin abuse that will hopefully get it shut down.. Loot will eventually respawn but lack of loot is far less a problem than server hoppers ghosting killers combat loggers. Cant please everyone all of the time but try crying somewhere else....

Timers stay ( id make them longer lol ) yes the location bug is a real pain but it will be fixed......

Hardcore is far less popular than regular ( guess not enough people are hardcore enough aye) add then the population of Australia and NZ combined is well pretty low... I hate to say it there are to many hardcore servers for the pop who play hardcore ( seeing there is only like 6 or 7 i get a decent ping with sounds silly but thats how it goes. I play hell in hand basket server ( i much prefer hardcore to regular cant stand looking over around things i shouldnt be able to lol ) i just logged out actually there were like 8 of us but then its only lunch time in wa so what 3 in the eastern states in a few more hours that server will fill up..

As noted already you can arm yourself pretty well without going to a airport/mil base. It makes sense though that your higher chance of getting higher level mil loot will be in a mil base or surroundings lol. This fits with risk reward people know they are there people go to them and the blood shed starts. So risk head to a place everyone knows is good therefor risk being shot reward better chance of walking away with a mil style weapon.. The formula works......

Seeing as this is a fictional eastern european country i would say eastern european guns would be the norm and seeing its economics are on the low side of things it would be far more common to find old guns handed down than top of tthe line modern weapons..... I am sure some more modern weapons will come in but if the game is to be authentic then it should follow that these weapons will be few and far between , older eastern european weapons will be far more common to find ( shot guns hunting rifles hand guns). We are yet to get a russian hand gun of a older nature hell ill be happy if they throw in the good old marakov lol.....

Mosin pristine LRS pristine and in testing i hit 6 and 700 m shots on zeds with no problems at all no pull to the left ??? only tried the sks with iron sights so range testing is short but it seems quite accurate as noted maybe a slightly worse dispersion rate than the mosin...

growing beards will be very hard to implement but they could atleast give us some variety in heads they wouldnt take long to model shit i am willing to kill my 5 day old full geared character the moment some different faces appear. As for the helmuts i use to wear them but they just so ugly lol so i stick to the new zealand green beret and just try avoid being shot or hit by zeds( doesnt always work but i am willing to bleed a little to look cool ( cool in my opinion that is lol )
