Pretty much this hence why civilian guns will be more common and why improvised weapons are planned. Dayz came about originally in rockets mind as a pure survival game/mod then he added zeds for the cool factor and dayz was born... then people started modding the mod and made it a weapon/vehicle extrafaganza which is why rocket spat it in the early days of making SA and had a total ban on modding planned for sa. He later calmed this down and put modding suport in as a intended feature but i am pretty sure while he is making it he will try to take it to its survival roots not the ubber gun super deathmatch it became infamous for on youtube.. But hey maybe he will change his mind again and go fuck it ill make the game they want not the game i intended but its not likely

Im not saying it definately not related to the arma 2 story line as i dont know i have never seen anything relating to a back story for dayz (there has been no back story) i am just wondering why with the SA people believe the story is linked to arma 2??? yeah it was a mod done on that game but how does that make the stories joined???? counter strike was a half life mod and yet it holds no shared story in relation to its mother game( that and many mods were done for arma 2 many having stories not relating to arma at all.. Ill wait and see if the devs actually make a back story for Dayz it might relate to arma 2 story then again it might not anyone here read rockets mind of late??

yeah most likely right but it would be nice if it actually was hard to ruin i mean that would be realistic i have an old bike jacket that i still wear riding and its 24 years old and it still in pretty good nick ( i did have the linning redone in it but even if i hadnt it was still perfectly good as a jacket wearing all pockets intact etc..

I agree i know that wouldnt be popular but it actually adds value to life due to loot... You can work to fill ya tent up with stuff to replace what might get damaged etc or to give to a friend who has nothing . Putting in that work will then make you want to stay alive. Because yes in the mod i liked the idea of a tent for rp reasons for storage reasons but yeah once i got some good stuff stored up i was more careless with my life knowing i had back up gear.... But alternative to deletion on death could be say lose ownership of it ( ya know how you could pack up and move your own tent) and having it moved randomly so that gear is still on server but to simulate your a new person you dont know where that tent is. First person to find it can claim ownership( eg be allowed to pack it up and move it ) or of course simply loot or burn it to the ground etc...

One could hope for this i am doubtfull they would do it but its possible in theory and would be EPIC.....

Hmmm damn has no one found it i am dying to see some pics or find one myself i always wondered with all the motor bike helmets where were all the leather jackets to go with them .. Durable hmm does that mean just hard to ruin or could there be a little melee protection hinted in that ( probably just hard to ruin but i keep hoping for a good jacket with some advantage that will have me drop the TTkso jacket .( id be will to loose 2 inventory slots for cool look and extended durability small armour value to melee would make it a complete must wear with the other factors....(must wear for me that is)

Cant say about skype( dont use it) but yeah audio quality for me that is , is far better on team speak than steam chat .... Oh to your other question about if we would like to come help or try to take berez away from ya LOL good one i think ya know the answer already :huh:

Ok now this is getting strange seems we have a some do some dont style bug.. Maybe i am to trusting but i believe everyone reporting there results in this thread( why lie about a possible bug/intended nerf) So many people arent suffering less damage i feel bad now cause while playing i started to feel my avatar had turned into the terminator.... Just exited and alt tabbed out of game to check this thread for other results as i just took in game a mosin shot to the chest and ran( came into a house to loot ran into a waiting in corner shooter) kept running for about 3 min or so checked for anyone following saw none found safish spot and logged out having checked my health and i was back to healthy and never actually bleed from the gun shot. Pretty sure it was chest i got hit cause checking my gear i had 2 ruined items that were worn and pristine before encounter...

LOL they released a patch because of all the crying from the last patch that caused people to be trapped in the your dead.... Was it the greatest move in the world no no it was not ... Was it worthy of you coming on here a grown man and acting like a self entitled teenager no it wasnt.... They are patching pretty quickly adding content trying to bug fix as they go and shit happens they warned you when you bought the game shit would happen... But no i paid for an alpha i get to act like a but hurt little bitch because i couldnt play for a weekend.. Get a Grip start acting your age try setting an example for your son.....

yeah i have noticed damage is well a little wack at the moment made the mistake of hiding and going afk to toilet ( usually i am real carefull when doing this but this time i was busting lol ) i hadnt noticed i had 2 persistant zeds chasing me .. When i came back from a toilet break and grab a drink i was there being mauled by the 2 zeds and seeing they would have had there way with me for atleast 1 minute minimum i was still alive and after i dealt with them found i was barely hurt ( was healthy so got healing straight away and it took maybe 10 seconds to be healthy again... Checked my gear i did have some damage done to my gear but not all that much i shrugged of a beating for 2 zeds seemed a little well low...

I feel your pain there will always be those deathmatching in the game but i still hope that some reason will kick in.. PVP is important to the game always was always will be but it is not the whole game. IMHO...

what colour is the message of hydrated energized??? if it is bright light green you should then get the healthy or healing status below the other 2 status. Sounds to me like you are injured and once you get the healing then healthy status your vision will clear... But yeah it could be a bug so many variables people getting bugs others dont.... edit noface ninjad me lol

rain was disabled very early in the SA ( not sure why assuming bug of some kind) but weather is back and it rains quite often now ( well it has been from me and i am pretty sure it is client side like many of the ambient effects were/are in arma rabits bugs things floating in the air) I often in the start of SA had my friends asking if i was crazy because id be running around trying to splat a rabbit ( thinking i might be able to eat it finding i couldnt even kill it) and for them there was no rabbit lol ...

You say you read the disclaimer you say you can deal with that but strangely your not...... DEVELOPMENT OF THE GAME AND ARE PREPARED TO HANDLE WITH SERIOUS ISSUES AND POSSIBLE INTERRUPTIONS OF GAME ..... This part clearly states you may have interuptions to play and what you loose the game for a weekend and you cry on the forums screaming common sense i agree where is the common sense but not that of the developers but yours.......
