Um what to say other than its alpha?? cars and base building will come when the devs have made them stable completed them (hopefully they wont feel pressure to rush them in ..... More time spent on them will HOPEFULLY result in them as being an interesting and game enhancing ( if there done in a way that requires lots of steps to do cool add ons like welding armour wheel weapons/blades i dont know sure they have better ideas.. Rush them in and what we get a quick way to just move about the map and store extra loot i am hoping for alot more from these features so i am willing to wait...

Nice got a little worried at start of the story ... ps friend 1 sounds like dead weight call me evil if you like but when i work in a team if someone killed a member of the team(accidents happen good communication stops90% of it though) and then basicly wanders ooff not willing to help the team mate he just dropped well he aint a team mate he is dead weight at best you cut dead weight free. His clan team membership would have been revoked with a well placed shot to back of the head..... A clan fights and dies together is willing to sacrifice for the team...

what would you want for a worn or a pristine LRS???? you never said what you wanted lol what ever it is ill get it or die trying... no i can go with blood trials though they would just need to be small as pointed out we dont have all that much blood in us. A drop every 5 m would make it hard but possible to track and would require your attention on the ground focused to spot so it kinda goes for the risk vs reward idea reward you might track your prey risk your focus iis down so you could be jumped( obviously less risk in a group )

5000 blood yeah true but that would be say 5000 mils of blood humans have around 5.5 ltires of blood on average size male which dayz avatars are.. Obviously bigger people have more blood smaller less etc..

You would need to be damn observant to follow a blood trail usually impact area has noticable blood after that it may be a tiny drop here and there ( yes i know the game has visual blood pouring by the gallon you would bleed out in seconds with that much blood gushing eg not sure even a main artery hit would produce such a fountain ). Id vote for a more realistic blood effect ( which is probably happening) before blood trails which be nice if they are there but like i say a drop here and there not much more....

Wait what so all i am supposed to do with a 225 square kilometer maps is travel to berez and riffy(shipwreck) and back again ??? Damn i have been doing it wrong i do huge trips back and fourth acros the map ( although i honestly can say i havent hit cherno electro balota or the towns lower than balota in a long long time. Pretty much every other town through centre of the map mil bases airfields etc yeah i go to all of them what a fool i have been ....

Yes i want a reward for surviving i want to find a bloody LRS oh wait i can if i am lucky and work hard enough lol Disregard then i can get the reward i want..... Seriously though a week and i havent found one woes me ( heads off to make thread WHERE ARE THE LRS HIDING....) Actually serious though i wouldnt mind growing a beard in game...

LOL nice always good to learn something new.. Meh i was just going to say i live in australia and well its pretty hot but even in autumn/ winter it gets to points at times when i can see my breath (particularly when i have been exerting myself on the farm ( i try not to do to much of that ) but we are always running around in this game ( i dont run that often but most people i spot are flat out sprinting ). Nice to see a scientific explanation of the effect ....

LOL maybe i am mean but if it was me making items respawn id have it do it every 2 or 3 hours and then when it was going to do it check there were no players in the area to stop loot spawning infront of people killing immersion....( if they are there it gets no respawn in 500m radius and waits for next 2 or 3 hour spawn window..) Maybe its me but this ment to be a zed apoc i kinda like the loot can go quite barron it really does force you to explore more of the map for your loot rather than sit on the coast running back and fourth from berez electro cherno and back again doesnt seem well very authentic. But thats just IMHO...

Not really needed to waste production money to make server providers and there hosting admins set them up properly to use the hive.. You have been given a good general idea of how to avoid bad servers the other good idea is when you find a good stable server ( there are tons of them ) keep logging back into that one.... I dont mean to offend but you paid a small game fee 30 bucks very cheap for the amount of hours entertainment but seem to want the devs to blow a large amount of there profits ( its a business ya know they want to make money or they wont make games) to spoon feed you what you can mostly do yourself...

hmm interesting in game settings gamma down brightness up hmm could explain the seemingly higher contrast ( you running higher than 100% resolution??) sorry to interupt the threads um valuable discussion . PS for daytime servers huh how could i guess you would be a night time gamma exploiter (lights torch and grabs pitch fork)

oh ok its not for taking screens its for making the game itself look better (been using sweetfx in arma RV engine games for about 4 years now) but the settings i use for arma 2 and arma 3 (which are different due to lighting etc) just cant seem to find the right blend for Dayz SA. Any way resume douche baggery . oh anyone confirmed that pic and server details...

Bang on if this was a zed apoc and i had the choice of an m4 or any m16 variant or one of the ak family id take the ak all day long is it a cheaper weapon yes is it as accurate no but good enough but it is way tougher more reliable in extreme conditions yes yes it is.. im not sure while i am fighting for my life for years if i last that long ill have time or the gear to properly maintain my nice american assualt rifle.. Now a weapon that can be stuck out in a desert or a jungle for years in the hands (sadly) children even and still be lethal and reliable. AK winner winner

dsylexi did a great scripted cloths viewer(it was for selecting cloths to play though as it was for arma 3. A varriation of this wouldnt be to hard to do for dayz(one that just allows viewing as character saved on hive wouldnt allow you to effect his gear. But honestly havent even cracked open the dayz files yet to see how different it is in compared to arma 2 or 3s with no mod support yet i be to worried (and its not the general sort of modding i do more of a modeller texture guy than a scripter( not hack scripts please no one mistake what i mean lol Edit although it would require some UI work as with the script i mention you had to put sqf file in mission to allow start of cloths viewer selector..

id like for a zed to be capable of taking me out ( not counting the invis & desynced ones from a few patches ago ) fell to both types ... legit enemy rather than a bullet waster ( i end up with so much ammo in the end i just start shooting them , yes thats got me killed once cause someone was just coming into Ropka when i was screwing around shooting zeds.. Not sure if someone had dragged extra zeds there cause there were 8 in that tiny town so i went fnx mad....
