Please stop poking an old sore i am a 1pp player i have what i want, why do we need to argue how someone else gets to play cant both sides well just play. We are kept seperate on the hive to be fair what do we need to be kept seperate on the forums to.. i dont like 3pp so guess what i dont play it so how does it affect me???? it doesnt live and let live or in dayz kill and let kill in any fashion you want......

im telling you ROCKETS vision of dayz authentic its player driven players want to be ass hats so they are rocket and the dev team didnt make them that way they chose to ... I havent called you a retard but you have called me one yet i still try to show you how to get what you want in a different way in the only way will get you can choose to adapt and survive or you can choose to be unhappy with what players choose to make of the game. At the end of the day its your choice just know one thing its not my decision its the devs and they dont want artificial safe zones if they didthey would have put them in already why cause they are easier to put in than it is to model a gun look at the spin offs of dayz mod the makers of them wanted safe zones so they scripted them and people found they didnt work as intended they ended up ghost towns.. They ended up with new players running to them for saftey and realizing they had to leave sooner or later but now the bandits KNOW WHERE THEY ARE makes it easier for them to do all the things to you that you dont like.... -

so your not willing to have a good interaction to make something you want in the game .. Question then why you posting??? its not a bad idea to make a safe zone its a good idea just the thing is the devs arent going to do it so its up to the players that want it to do it!! some of the best fun i had in the mod was doing just that thing making and protecting a player made safe zone.. PLAYER MADE SAFE ZONE its the only SAFE ZONE we will get .... id like a safe place to trade to meet peoplei just know WE HAVE TO MAKE IT.. you dont want to make thats fine just dont complain if there isnt one make sense??? -

Im sorry im not trying to be rude i keep trying to inspire you with what dayz is what it could be for you but seriously you want a safe zone isnt that reason enough to have these interactions you speak of?? i have met alot of people playing (some bad some good some great still play the game together. If you cant see the point of the game ( the point is what ever you make it to be hunt people make a safe zone feed the bambi heal and help strangers rob people and feed them rotten food) then why play?? the point is its your story what ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE OF IT.. -

Make those friends in game then you see the difference between me and you i see opertunity you see game flaw devs need to fix.. i see player made problems that can be to some degree helped by how other players trying to fix it . You want to be given what you want because you want it , i see a chance to make your own story as the game was intended... -

see this posters sig he feels the apoc would be different the devs didnt make him he wants to kill . he is a player all the problems you speak of are made by the players its up to us to turn the tide . Hell if you werent such a rude sob id help you build a safe zone but no you sit screaming for the devs to fix how do the devs fix what players want to do in game??? they cant you are a player you fix it this is dayz this your story!!!! -

i agree there would be less killing so form a group and police chernarus the problems are caused by players the solutions are in the hands of players the devs will give us the tools you just need to use them.... -

you can do that in game its just harder riskier. It would require you to be level headed and a good communicator be willing to die for your dream of a safe zone. So far you might be willing to die for your dream but the other 2 things needed i hope someone else in this group you play with has those skills.. -

I havent called you a retard or done any of the offensive things you have so far i am merely trying to tell you how it is you dont want to accept it your choice but dont cry when they dont add a safe zone because they will never add one.( its against the very ideals of dayz which you would know if you had played the mod ya know the one made by ROCKET oh thats right he the same guy making SA so why is he going to change his mind for you...... I tried to get you positive about the idea of making your own safe zone its you who is the negative nancy sorry. Chasing dreams that only you playing with like minded people can make on your own -

yeah the mod had ways of buildings fences and barb wire so you could make basic fortifications dayz SA will eventually to but at end of the day you have to make the safe zone not the devs... -

did you play the mod at all ??? cause you if you did you know it takes a lot to get a vehicle going its usually done with a group you have a group??? then why cant you make your own safe zone???? I really dont think you know what your asking for .. ps i have been playing dayz for near on 2 years now and i am betting ill be playing long after your gone because dayz doesnt have what you want it to and never will.. All you can do is get rude why because we try to tell you the reality of the situation... i tried to tell you nicely now i just stating how it is... -

Sure where does this vehicle come from oh wait it will come from the wastland of zeds so you have to face the music or do you expect them to not only make you a magical safe place but supply you with a vehicle to cause you cant live long enough to get one yourself ... Oh so you want a magical place where guns dont fire anymore where knives dont make you bleed where its impossible to get into a fist fight where you dont need guards to keep zombies and bandits out cause this magical land is protected in the middle of a zed apoc its just safe and sunny. Then to give same merit to your post you want as you so politely put it wont fucking find it in dayz....... This magical land is not gritty its not authentic its not an anti game idea so it goes against everything the devs say they want the game to be you sure you knew what you were buying??? you need guards to be safe in a zed apoc why will zeds and bandits cease to happen in this place why didnt the chanarus russians hide there.... -

Ok i really dont know how else to say this the devs wish for the game to be authentic its our story now everything you have asked for in a safe zone can be and has been done at various times in the mod.... Is it more authentic more natural if players do it or if the devs throw in non thinking non responding ai npcs??? we have the npcs there zeds its authentic there non thinking non responsive.... your so passionate about the idea start a thread asking for players to make such a safe zone and it will be your story as the devs intended completely natural with proper human interaction... Because i can tell you now if your waiting for the devs to spoon feed you what you want then your going to be waiting a longtime as they have already stated there will be no npcs other than zeds.. which will be cooler the safe zone you have created in your own story or some forced un authentic one guarded by ai npcs that dont talk back who will never respond in a natural way ( what is the guarding parameters do the chase off the bandits do they stay close to the safe zone??? Any parameter you set for the ai guess what humans will learn its limits and attack it with a method that plays on its weakness, isnt that why we play multi player games to 1 interact with other humans 2 the only ai worthy of challenge is of the human kind.. Stop clinging to your ideas you want to bring from other games that are artificial make them real with true human interaction MAKE IT YOUR STORY how the few turned the tide and reformed some sort of civilisation in the zombie wastland.. a lame spot with AI i wouldnt bother going there to hide letting ai protect me but a zone held by humans i can join interact with then you have something special then you have your DAYZ... -

um a church with only 1 entrance/exit it would hardly be safe not to mention there in towns/cities over run ( story wise not so much currently) by zeds.. -

a certain level of destructability to the map with barricading of doors windows (instant hidout) and zeds that would then attempt and eventually break down doors etc ( as could players with axes) Dig pits and cover them with foliage ( still covered under the destruction of the map) cause straight out id dig a pit lure zed into it cover it up .. the pit just deep enough to break ya leg and leave zed to finish the rest... lets see people run the map wildly after they have fallen into one of those.. -

True but it would be nice to control the bolting eg doesnt bolt until you remove your finger off the right mouse button.. would have been easy to implement and well realistic i would have thought... -
Hiding zeds is a good idea IMHO even though they are infected they go into a dormant like state with no one around if they added dead bodies as part of the zed apoc ( where did everyone go they certainly didnt all change into zeds) you could get zeds that lay dormant till your near then lunge that might get a few scares..( as in laying among the dead bodies which are just scenery..)

oh i dont doubt they will find a good balance just nostalgic for the old marakov ( pretty much a glorified cap gun hey it had its uses but was hardly a power gun..) So many time struggling early on it was like the holy grail getting that marakov ( felt like it) didnt scare bandits off that pop like noise it made told them straight away they had ya unless you were lucky... -

So when used with a similar range scope to the pu it would be quite effective being semi auto near silent( quite enough his mates 2 buildings over may not notice?) low recoil a good starter rifle for the zed apoc ( i mean come on right now we got fairly high grade stuff even if some of it old tech) -
Ah ok i wasnt sure he was set in stone on that one as i watched his motion capture video ( ya know them goofing around while working) and he mentioned doing broken neck zeds etc.. But hey ii have been wrong before this wouldnt be the first time... Still would have thought rabied style would be more shock resistant to bullets ( it usually being shock that kills from bullets when none of the major organs are struck that is ... But this is another discussion.
