Damn i cant find that link that explains the food water healing health shock system of the game.. But just simply go to source of water such as a pond or water pump drink water till it says your stuffed then spend your time collecting food and once you have around 5 or 6 items of food find safe place and eat till again your stomach is stuffed ( it gives both an indication in inventory and an on screen written message that your stuffed. This can be done eating and drinking together but i find the best way is to take your fill of each indiviually as your stomach empties and then allows for the other to be filled into it ( do not keep eating drinking once you get the stuffed message or you will vomit wasting all your water and food in stomach...

Your low on blood you will need to eat and drink till your stuffed and then in time you will get healing/healthy status and your screen will get colour again ... That or some saline bags or a blood bag given to you by another player ( needs to be right type of blood though or it is curtains for you ....

LOL i got that from the idea they are human infected zeds not the classic shambling but even as human infected they would wear down getting slower with the odd one fresh enough to sprint and shock you.. But honestly if they cant keep up with you then numbers need to be off a level that they could trap you .. I prey the devs can pull those numbers but i just dont see it but ill wait till more optimization is done and see how they go.. I merely ment if you cant get the numbers to trap the zeds need some way to be challenging be it speed be it huge damage be it big chance of infected wounds from them be it good placement so they can catch you by surprise ( eg hide them in rooms of a house up stairs etc hide them laying down in piles of fake scenery bodies till you come close something to give them pow factor. Dayz with a limp Z factor would be less than i hope for but i have faith in the devs they will surprise me....

Id prefer hoards of slow moving zeds but im not sure they will get to the point they can produce actual hoards ( god i hope i am wrong) and by that i mean hundreds in cities with roaming hoards of 50 or more ya know hoards lol ... So i guess the option i want isnt covered and that is portray them as acurately as you can while making them a challenge which may mean faster zeds with a lower count. I could think of nothing worse than a good realistic zed but not in numbers that would the challenge realistic...

Nope id say it more authentic to get an audio que like say in BP eg stomach growls when hungry you start panting and making odd swallowing noises when your thirsty no need for a health bar status at all.. But thanks for the offer mate but i have been playing since may 2012 i am quite happy staying.. Maybe take your own advice???

Hey i play Dayz with my wife all the time id play it with my son but the last time my wife let him have a go she couldnt get him to stop dribbling on the key board and he shot me almost killing me straight out... 14 months old and has the KOS mentality straight out keeps clicking the left mouse button and giggling at the gun firing sounds.....

Yeah it kinda sucks but some of them seem to be perfectly connected to hive and trouble free then pop it drops the hive ( seems more often during restart to ) i played happily on 1 server for 2 weeks no problems at all (hell in a hand basket australia) then on 1 log in zap im on the beach logged out and join 1 with an offical title ( like the us east 1-24 what ever what ever one mentioned) seems safest bet is to go to the servers with official style titles rather than personal named ones.. Oh add to that Australian internet just in general sucks balls makes the problem far worse for us.....

Yeah it would be nice to have an indication your arm was broken ( id call it hurt rather than broken cause you wouldnt do half the things we do with a broken arm lol ).. The clip ground when the barrel is clearly above the ground kinda sucks to and my personal favorite is the way when you scope in the sight is drawn to the left meaning you have to shoot right of the target to hit it this on a pristine scope lol id be taking it back to the manufacturer lol . What can one say alpha... Report on bug tracker or when they already there up vote them so the devs know the scope of the problem (pun intended..)

Dont think it relates to HC more to the server settings if they connect to the hive properly .... i have had one HC character vanish on logging in i went to another server and i was happily there... These sort of things are happening less and less as admin and service providers are configurating there servers properly but it does still happen... If the chicago one wasnt config properly then when you started on us east it would again be a new character...

you know some of us just use those scopes to scout a town before going in... With the absence of binocs they are your best bet ( most of my kills have resulted with the fnx or the sawn off shot gun in close range,

Hmmm i found my LRS in the self storage units ( granted its rare more likely you willl get a pu scope a bipod or a compensator but it happens... Took me 8 days of 3 to 4 hours a day to find one id say they are perfect level right now not impossible but very hard to find..... PS you want one you could always go to the popular sniping spots and take one of the body of a sniper you killed, right there is an easier way to find one has some risk to it oh wait that fits there risk vs reward idea....

Nope but the devs idea of civilian vehicles that you can weld home made armour onto and attach a lmg to would be nice.. Plus i heard rumours for the first time in a rv game you will be able to shoot your guns out window ..(waited many many years for a feature like that.. but all rumours .. If it had to be a military vehicle an un armed one that you could again craft a weapon onto would be ok ... Balance is a hard thing and such vehicles change balance of power easily and once in will never go away...

It would make death have more of a sting if your stash was randomly moved so your new character cant collect what an old one collected lol but that would be a mean move (fits perma death better though). id go south west area not to far out from the lowest town in the map, next to no one goes below balota these days not much point to they not good looting towns ( just far enough out that a lost bambi treading the coast who has over shot balota wouldnt find it..

does he mean steam player count?? was that peak ?? take a screenie and post it should have peak and of peak numbers im on laptop not my gaming pc so no connection to steam ..
