Welcome to dayz hey i am actually jealous wish i could not know where the hell i was ( although yeah your location does have me stumped id say somewhere up past guba bay , But i dont recall it looking like that . PS what hestaine ment was your ingame setting of video render resolution set to 100% eg the same as max resolution of the screen you play on?? id turn settings down in the cfg file before i turned down render resolution.. Thankfully my rig allows me freedom to not have to and still maintain decent FPS... Unless your an ubber elite sniper type the first thing i would turn down for performance is view distance honestly the 2km view is not really needed even sniping although it looks better and does help flying a chopper none in yet so try turning that down to say 1200m 1000m object view and try that see how it runs..

LOL i am 40 almost 41 my wife is 29 she hated the idea of gaming but i won her over.... In retrospect may not have been a good idea as it did cost me 2000 bucks building her a gaming rig but hey as they say the couple that play together stay together....( not in any way saying your relationship is not perfect as it is just i get more gaming time now cause she games to ...)

north and west sides of the map have the debug terrain south and east have the ocean ( which i guess after a point become debug terrain to eg endless loop) um the res on that pic is terrible i cant see east very well but the red north does go to the left so it seems east i dont think its worn thats doing it ...id say you been heading north east rather than east ??? Have you tried logging out and back in again or try using the compass in the inventory ( by examining it with right click in inventory it can be used without equiping it ) i heard at one point there was a bug with compasses not working at times correctly this seems like one of the them ... PS dont the clouds still move east in direction... Upvote the compass bug on tracker should be fixed ( i dont use the compass anymore to many years on chernarus sadly i can generally tell where i am by the lay of the land...

yes except it was one zed waking another the second zed was just standing there( and i didnt watch for long enough to see if zed2 went down from such attack. At a guess i had figured maybe new player had run and logged out at the spot and the zeds just got stuck in the attack animation but thats a pure guess...

Hmm not really fussed either way but sure some people dig there steam achievements , although id like to think they would make them rather non play style specific eg the idea of 500 disinfectant poisonings as funny as i find, not likely as that would premote certain play styles on the other side of that 500 other player bandaging would probably be a no ( thats just speculation but the seem dedicated to us making the decisions on play style) . But sure x amount km travled by foot car helicopter all towns visited or the truely hardcore achievement every ladder in game climbed would be a prestigous one to prove bravery LOL...

persistant storage containers have been confirmed as coming soon ( what the container is i dont believe has been specified be it tent or special back pack as some claim or other who knows??) but soon havea little more patience and dont die carrying your rare scopes lol ... ( hey i want a chance to find your storgae so i can um re aquisition them .....

If your playing around prime time for Australians i am sure my wife could give you a few hints and tips she is ( even though i rib her that she sucks as she ribs me back) pretty decent i have always been thankfull for her back upin the fire fights we have gotten into....

indeed possible but those contractors must be completely familiar with an engine that was built by BIS ps if you check there web sight theyare attempting to hire more staff but even these new staff need to be trained on the ins and outs of an engine specific to BIS... Throwing money and time at a problem doesnt always fix it faster..... Then the game gets pushed back in develpoment cause you have cut hours on the art department they dont make money and move to a different job ( you dont run a business ofany kind do you??) But hey i get it your pissed cause you lost your gear but um that doesnt really qualify you to tell a developer how they should do there job now does it......

Im sorry this is happening to you so often but just have to say there is one flaw with your 2 cents the devs involved in making new items are different people from the programers/coders that bug fix so not adding items etc would not speed the process at all well unless you think its beneficial that the art department stop work go back to school learn ( or become far more proficient) a completely different skill than there career path .. EG a pilot learns to fly a plane it does his career no good or the saftey of his crew passengers if he learns to be a mechanic on such air craft ( he cant get outside to fix something in mid flight.)

But if he is a solo player or bandit how does that worry him... The bagging yourself and carrying your own blood is thee best way to insure your own survival ... ps keep1 saline for that quick unkown light fix..

I just dont understand what the hacker gets from this??? i have alot of sqf scripting practice ( you cant spend hundreds of hours making arma missions without learning to use sqf , well not really interesting ones any way ) I have even on a private server basicly done my own shall we say hacks to be able to do a on the fly interactive mission... By that i mean for the clan i play with i made my character invis he could fly teleport i could spawn in stuff he could take the form of the npcs so i could relay info to the players in a rp fashion ( no comments on being a nerd please i already know) basicly i gave myself the abilities of what a DM in a MMORPG would have... Now i never tried to do this on a public server but with nature of arma2 it wouldnt have been hard to do ( i wouldnt want to get banned from playing a game i love) But i just dont see the well point of it what do you gain sure you can kill people easily lots of people but wouldnt that be boring after a while??? i mean no one likes playing AI because there boring and predictable so we play against people because there a challenge why then remove the challenge by injecting scripts???

here is an honest answer lol.. the fnx with its red dot and 15 round clips( i have found 3 check the roof of office/school buildings and fire station roofs) accurate nope but at close range i let the lead fly the boxes of bullets are all over the place.. I still keep a magnum though and have 3 speed loaders for that aswell ( easier to find than clips for fnx) there in many civilian buildings the cafe storage sheds the orange brick buildings the piano house... i got the gear for the magnum first so was my original side arm but now have gear for the fnx ( took a while but i have all attachments ) that is my go to side arm ( although inside a building i still flip to the sawn off shot gun)

or you logged out with someone near and they killed you during the 30 second timer or you were on a dodgy server that doesnt connect to the hive properly .. When choosing a server pick an official sounding one oh and if it has a high pop usually means its a solid server there is a reason some servers have a low pop( they might run poorly they might have bad admin they may not connect to hive properly and thus delete your character all the time.. OH ITS ALPHA ( although its not usually a hive dayz problem)

for some reason for just a moment i wished they would add in some indian cloths a police outfit and a leather cap.. oh plus the emotes of YMCA id laugh myself silly seeing a crew running around village people styles... This i am dying to mod the game cant wait to add clothes buildings dead bodies for scenery etc etc but i can wait till atleast the main focus is finished the ground work. With arma 3 even when they released it as a alpha it was probably closer to a beta and even then it was a pain at times changing mods because of changes i can imagine some fairly big changes coming with dayz.. Modder who is happy to wait and see the devs vision realized...

yeah your right there but with a new guy kinda hard to explain so i figured if he did till stuffed he would get to a nice level that will keep him healthy and going for longer should have mentioned after that he can just eat drink bits here and there to keep a nice level going lol..

The beret you mean ?? its a new zealand one if you examine it ( which i love looking at the items in game ) it has the gold and red badge with the kiwi on it ( ya know the bird lol ) Hey i dont blame Rocket for showing some national pride and throwing stuff in from our homeland... Heard a few people go what the why is there kiwi fruit in the game.. But strangely you might get kiwi fruit in russia ( i dont know to be honest ) but as it is actually not native to NZ its actually a chinese goosberry it just grows better in NZ so china aint that far away i guess he cant get away with it ;)
