Often thought the same but with the checking a city and seeing zeds means players could it not be done that zeds spawn client side at spawn locations at the same range as view distance.. thus if you see it likely its you who has spawned them ( with them despawning once leaving view distance???? Edit also shared load spawns in have server side persistant zeds so they can produce the much needed traveling hordes but also add the set spawn client side zombies?????

hey custom built wheel chair with blades attached to the wheels ... you would be a great team player gather the zeds then roll you down the hill with the spinning wheel blades of death and a home made explosive you can trigger with your mouth stick thing ( sorry i dont know what there called) -
That is a good point and i certainly hope that he puts these stages in at each step that doesnt negatively effect players from testing the game as a whole... I am willing to bet the devs are smart enough to put the horse before the cart so to speak ( well i hope they are) But hey who knows the mechanic may suck it may be bad but till we test it cant say one way or the other. the devs themselves before it gets to us may goo hmm was a good idea we just cant get it to work well and scrap the whole thing or simplify it only time will tell...

i am talking about his future plans for the effects of it he cant add it all in one hit there is more going on than whats on experimental right now seriously watch the video.. Some of which is being tested now on the internal build not experimental Edit same as rain in experimental right now it makes you wet do you think thats the full extent of the mechanic what is added for you to test now lol stages everything is done in stages....

thats one of the reasons general poor health and running all day massive shock caused from attacks of various kinds another reason .. Seriously find the video of him talking about it .. Checking pulse doing cpr to keep people alive long enough for better medical treatment. It sounded intense he addmitted he couldnt make it 100% realistic but they keept to the base effects very well... Edit those guys playing medics will have to know there shit as by sounds of it there will be several things that would have some of the symptoms like chest pain....

It may be possible i watched rocket speak of being able to pick things up and move them around in say a similar style to skrim/oblivion so if when the ragdoll physics come in and if they tie these physics to cans and random loot then yes the idea of sticking cans on a post to shoot them off could be possible... I hope he gets to implement it he has so many ideas they are trying to squeeze into the game...

i dont know just watching that video withrocket talking to sacreil the whole idea seemed pretty cool it also sounded very deep indeed (ps cpr is coming as well) it wont be a random thing ( well apart from when bugs strike of course) it is very much linked to how you keep your character healthy (eat drink rest dont run 50km in a stint with heavy load) People ask what the devs doing to lessen KOS nothing really except making the game realistic enough to either inspire the player to think deeply about what he is doing to stay alive or maybe scare of those not willing to try survive realisticly in a SURVIVAL GAME..

i found i was semi proficient at about 350 400 m with the sks with a pu scope good gun.. Might even stick to that when we get binocs i am one of those carefull mofos that likes to look at a town from several sides before entering ( are the zeds still there are the doors open sometimes i look at windows that are second story that look down the main road for snipers as if i was of the mindset to snipe there where i would set up... -
having played dayz since may 2012 when it was a mod i merely trying to save a new guy a heart ache of dying every time he steps into a place like that. Ask any long time player bandits like to camp these spots and kill people so go in at your own risk.. There will be friendlies in there at times sure but after you have died a hundred times in a place like that you stop asking or stating silly things like friendly... you notice in his story (the OP's) the guy didnt believe he was friendly even though it had been him shooting not the op and you even say thats how it is which is the meaning of an unwritten law. Its not written anywhere people just realize thats how it is....

ok well ill try again 90%of the people who played the mod and play friendlies know its life or death in a high loot high risk area where bandits like to frequent to kill people.. I dont like to kos but i like to live so with tensions high excuse me if i dont wave on a airfiled to someone holding an m4 by all means your welcome to and maybe once in a blue moon you will meet another crazy friendly but i think you will most often be greeted with a bullet... Meet some where else then you can have your interaction ....

vybor is without doubt the best big game hunting reserve on the map in my opinion anyone this close to the NWAF is there armed and relatively experienced atleast.... Why hunt bambi when you can shoot grizzlies ....

a nice b95 does the job the missus swears by it and her results its hard to argue... may only carry 2shots but accurate and 7.62.. piano houses orange bricked buildings....

not complaining i am actually quite happy there rare at the moment far less sniping to deal with.. I only use mine to scope towns before entering have a mere 2 kills down that scope( both from m4 guys opening up full auto at ranges over 200 m .. (strangely found mine in a storage shed) i look foward to beta and beyond when guns are there just not common to find everyone decked out... taking 8 days to find my LRS made it one of those oh fuck yeah moments. Kinda like early in the mods days when i eventually found my first gun the marakov.. -
An airfield or mil base is not the place for interaction its an un written law even the friendlies kos on these spots...

Good to see new players to the flock .. Ones dedicated enough to write there stories..Mr johnstone as fellow ausie if you ever play hardcore ( first person only hit me up on steam ,the name is the same. I am usually lerking around green mountain zelengorsk way but happy to travel to help a new guy out... no server hoping needed 1 short trip through the north and you will be ready to face zeds and bandits alike.. -
Possible but id rather fashion one that uses an encased shot gun shell for that your definately dead shot my mate did it for his gidgy ( hand spear for under water i didnt think it would work i was wrong.....
