Also not that its in yet but i believe the intent is when clothing becomes ruined its storage will no longer be reliable eg things will drop from the pockets... So when they finally put that in then the option to wear ruined cloths will become even worse than it is now.. As mentioned it currently at ruined offers no damage protection when enviromental things come in such as cold wet they will offer no protection against that ... All round the whole ruined clothing is a bad option to be wearing lol but hey each to there own...

Alright now i grow tired of this almost crazy talk here is a simple test to prove the validity of the focus/zoom feature..... Go in game set your field of view to default ( i find the field of view adjustment to be the unrealistic game mechanic but thats another topic). Now with nothing in your hands and at default field of view zoom in then look down at your characters feet .. Then in real life stand up and look down at your feet then come back and tell me if you think the focus/zoom feature is still to strong because with this test i find it pretty damn close to real life vision in regards to its range seeing..... Rational logical thinking or common sense as i like to call it why is it not so common amongst forum goers even the ones old enough they should have it by now....

There is just one problem with this post really you say key content but its your key content the last 2 zombie fixes optimization there not so much content as they are fixes and i think you added them in to give weight to your hey where are my vehicles etc etc... Seeing as this is a survival game i would think the features that help make it a survival game are key content hunting cooking ill effects from weather etc... Vehicles are late game content and they want to do them right but they are not a key element of survival they are just what you and yes many others want to get your hands on ... But lets look at it this way you want them to get them in now by slapping in arma 2 cars which would suck.. you want them to slap them in soon in what ever half revamped state there in so there buggy in complete or do you want to wait 6 to 9 months and have something cool that works for the full game , me ill take the later.. You say you will get bored waiting well take a few months of this is an alpha not a full game we testing and sounds like your just playing and going hey the things i want arent in yet.....

How can i be the only one who likes zelengorsk i mean decent size town plenty supplies small mil base with 2 barracks and cell building all the good civilian loot houses eg piano house the orange brick buildings the 2 story pub etc etc.. Not that far from the coast decent traffic and if ya bad man bandit the pub makes a great sniper spot( if barricading does come in id probably try to hold that pub lol...

Last time i heard Rocket mention the vehicles and it was on the euro gamer stream(a few days ago) he didnt say when but he did say they pretty much had enough to release the first vehicle they just needed to tidy a few things up( what that means id only be guessing) but it may not make you happy to know vehicle 1 is a bike... as in push bike i believe i am sure he would say motor bike if he ment that all he said was bike.....

nope must have been luck... Thats why server hoppers and low pop gear farmers like to hit low pop servers same amount of loot less people to contend with ...

This very much this then add in the closed enviroment means far less hacking and to be honest on a good private hive the bad guys are cooler the good guys cooler why because they usually USUALLY care about the game more than a yolo player randomly choosing public servers...

Your suggesting we all become short sighted NOOOOOOOOOOO no Your not getting it the non focused view is zoomed out to about half what normal vision is to get peripheral view so when you zoom in 2x what you get is WOW normal 1x view minus the peripheral vision we would have IRL.. I can safely say i can spot a human or human sized animal ( kangaroos are similar in size) at near 1km in open ground specially when i have high ground granted what gives them away is the movement that draws me to it if they stand still there isnt enough detail at range to determine.. So in basic your complaining about the focus because you run every where giving away your position now i see the problem you want the game to cater to your in ability to play it ....

he will look like a human at range i can bloody shoot roos (kangaroos) at 250 plus meters with an unscoped 308 i have never mistook a human for a roo at those ranges and further more i can tell a guy injured at that range( my mate twisted his ankle i knew long before he got to me roughly what he had done by his movement... I play hardcore/1pp only and see the focus view/zoom as the only way they can replicate real vision.. i am sorry your pulling magnification levels out of your butt.... It may be 2x the retracted view because that view has been brought back to give peripheral view but when you have focused or zoomed as you call it its actually normal range vision... What you want is to have everyone nerfed as if they suffer short sightedness ( some people do suffer it ) but if you have 20/20 vision which thankfully at 40 i still dothe focus is fine...

where are you pulling 2x from if you use default FOV the zoom or focus is 1x ..

Huh at 200m you would be able to tell by the movement of the human figure.. Maybe its because i hunt alot but visual ranges of movement and picking target go way further out than 200m.... Edit and the focus or zoom as you call it is actually 1x the unrealistic view is actually the retracted view or normal view and thats in to give peripheral view.. Seriously man you need to get your eyes checked... Is it a perfect way of doing it no but with current tech its the only way ...

Hmmm i am looking around for what i was sure rocket had said on the subject and that it would be an economy based respawn ... Eg eat a can of food and that removes it from the servers economy and another will spawn randomly across the map to replace it ruin a weapon by killing someone and ruining there gun removes it from the economy thus another will replace it etc.. This way they can have an exact control of both server and hive economy levels to allow them to balance it to be hard but fair....

There should be a blocking motion but it shouldnt be able to be held on it should be a timed block lasting a mere moment.. As for the raised axe thing yeah i have seen to many guys using the raised axe trying to hit straight (obviously losing) but the raised wack does have its uses specially when circling zeds always circle clockwise and then with the raised shot it hits to the right you will find its quite good to stay on the move using this method...

Throwing has been confirmed both offensive throwing and assitance throwing ( eg throwing ammo to a friend) So many questions have so many answers if you follow the devs on reddit..

Yeah id say 10 to 20 hours its much easier to stay alive in the SA than the mod due to the fact that loot is much better spread out so we are not all converging on the same few loot spots hell even in the major cities i have heard gun fire blazing and still havent seen anyone while ducking in and out of the many MANY buildings that carry loot . Plus i get off the coast usually instantly but every now and then i come back when i feel its time to die and start over... last life 49 hours (21 kills in the end) but usually it more like 10 to 20 as i said.

Sorry this happened to you they are working on bugs but what can i say it is alpha dont get attached to your gear if the bandits dont get ya the bugs will... This also happens alot due to badly configured servers so if they dont connect to the hive properly it is going to happen alot try only joining official sounding servers eg uk 1-21 hosted by vilyar etc etc you get the idea...

LOL we do but i have to say they will make it harder for hackers but you can never stop them Just ask EA and Dice with BF4 with 8 million sales of BF4 at a higher price a big publisher as back up and they have made pretty much no head roads into solving hackers... So id say stick to holding your own dick...... Devs thanks for a ever more amazing game keep up the work some of us apreciate it.....

I think both would be quite good if your of a mind to kill people ( although id love bear traps for around my base when we can build them....

only one problem the leaving little caches is one of the favorite moves by bandits any freshieswho have been caught by bait before will bypass the little pile and move at speed away lol. But i commend the effort...
