Carrying anything on from 1 life to the next defeats the purpose of permadeath.. it also changes the game from a survival game to a rpg action game.. The few passive skills there adding in are to give your character life value make you want to stay alive yeah it will give the kos crew more joy killing you so in that long time gaining skill( sewing is the only i have heard and slight mention of medical) one would hope you as a player would learn the skills to avoid the KOS players if you havent you wont live longenough to gain any skills so hey no extra loss.....

But your own op and the basis of this thread kinda points to it being otherwise no offence to europeans or anywhere else i have travelled alot of countries and i find there are nice people everywhere there also assholes everywhere to.... Kiddies and tryhards are not country or continent specific or view specific for that matter...

There are or have been what they call instant step there and die bugs but due to the info in the OP it doesnt sound like that was it .. Instant step there die bug is just that not fall down broken legs then die ( hey that might be a new one) but it sounds more like a sniper at range took a leg shot then finished the job ( sounds are bugged likely you never heard it .. The second death was in A MAJOR HOT SPOT where snipers love to camp . Conclusion as i stated first time 80% sure sniper in both cases that leaves 20 % chance of bug but not enough info to state which and if bug what do you do ( they already know of the instant step on die bug but again first one wasnt that ) and second death i am 99% sure it be sniper you just ran around the corner at the mil base( hey might not been sniper might have been m4 close range head shot its the bloody mil base.

I apologise i jumped into the convo again at this page and it appeared you were calling 1pp players assholes ( hey some of us are) Honestly i have nothing against 3pp its definately has its valuable points and you can be a top level player and play 3pp skill level is not determined by the view you use... Edit hell by the law of averages seeing the population of 3pp is much MUCH higher chances are there are more elite level players on 3pp than 1pp... I merely state if all things even eg 40 people on both with similar skill levels on players in both due to the lowered awareness it makes it harder to play 1pp and by harder i mean only very slighty its like regular and regular+ not hardcore i didnt give it its title nor do i support it..

I play hardcore and i dont know where people got the idea its friendlier??? i find there is just as much KOS done there as any other server its just a little harder for them to see you lol... I havee had friendly meets on 3pp and on 1pp but i wouldnt say more on 1 or the other generally people are just using the game as a deathmatch what ever view your playing...

Wow is right playing 1pp is not an elite thing plenty of guys who play 1pp plain suck . Its also a fact you call people an asshole they are going to return your sentiment in kind.. The people i see with the ego problems in this thread seem to be you and phillyt sorry guys i am not elite but you seem to want to think you are... Its getting rediculous as for how dean plays it who cares ( although he does play 1pp in a 3pp server have to give him props for that ..) There are plenty of good reasons to play 3pp and i have no arguement with any of them but it is simple fact one is a harder level to play at which you can do as a newb or a experienced guys something that is not exclusive means it cant be elite...

You build an ego thing out of something that doesnt require it , its a game and the simple facts are 3pp is more popular but it also has the largest situational awareness 1pp is far less popular and has less situational awareness it is A COMMON SENSE FACT if you lower your awareness of a situation you make it harder!! But you guys wont accept what the even the makers of the game accept.. Now playing 1pp doesnt mean your a better player it just means your playing it at a harder level .. Try playing some BF4 there are more terminators running around in that than there ever has been in dayz SA .. I find there mentality quite facinating though....

I use mouse and keyboard for every other shooter i play but to be honest i use a controller for Dayz why well currently the mouse accel is ubber fucked at the moment and actually makes it harder for precise aiming rather than easier as it should... Dont believe me slide mouse slowly and get super fast turn move mouse fast get slow turn ... What the you need to wire your brain in reverse to make good use of the mouse the way it stands in dayz......

Oh hell i havent tried the new experimental dont tell me they have reverted to old arma AI code which basicly made them linked ( eg kill one as stealthy as anything instantly informs any grouped with it where you were etc without any line of sight or hearing) I was so looking forward to it being pushed to stable i hope thats not it...

Really we all still on this ( we have been off topic since page 1) the topic is why are HC servers so under populated.. Answer 3pp is the most popular view to play in at a guess id say 75 to 80% of the players go to 3pp servers. Now some one mentioned basicly what happened in the mod was the 1pp dwindled and died as well people would rather play on a full server than a empty one with the view they prefer. Not currently finding that YET where i am there are 7 HC servers inside 80 ping and 3 of those hold a fairly steady 30 plus players( prime time it can be a pain to get on 1 of these then it sucks because the other 4 never really hit more than 20 or so ) if it stays at that level i am happy i can play hc and you can play regular be it easier harder more comfortable to play feels more immersive whatever... Honestly i give up on this whole talk ( time for seperate forums aswell as seperate hives lol..

The man who created the idea is stepping down from project lead when his imput is no longer needed , He had the idea but its not JUST HIM making it the rights are owned by BIS they are and will continue to make and finish the game... Dean Hall is far from the most experienced guy on the team he was a junior in the company that had an amazing idea for a game that was proven track record being made as a mod... He is basicly the creative director once his vision is complete then it will be left to those more able to polish the idea to a bug free( well mostly bug free lol i live in the real world) completed game that you will get if you buy now at cheap price will get if you buy in beta at a larger cost or will get if you buy at retail release at full retail price...

Agreeing has zero effect on the matter even has no relation to something being harder ... Dont believe me have a running race with a friend, do 4km its even in relation to what each have to do yes then try the same over 40 km its still even again in relation to what you have to do but wow is it harder.. Now with your question which is harder view to take out a camper you will need to be far more specific as it matters to where he/she is camping the equipment used etc... Now again land a helicopter in 1pp and in 3pp and tell me which is harder and it doesnt matter on any variations at all.. Id happily try but the ping rate for me is 280 i think you couild shoot me 3 times before i even knew a shot had been fired beanz for the challenge though...

20 plus outside cities i am sure you will get in some of the tougher spots to run say cherno apartments guba bay(strel@#(# see thats why i say guba bay lol) i think it will drop below 20 for you but hey could be wrong people with some low systems have reported decent fps others not so lucky..

yeah you could run it not very well but it will run (ps arma 3 is easier to run than dayz well it is for me on arma on altis my frames average between 50 and 110 on dayz 35 and 80..... Edit thats at pretty much max setting for both but only 4x AA and PP low everything else set VH
