but as the 1911 as a long standing standard, it has many mods (easy mods that just clip ,screw on, like any in dayz)... more than M4 or AKs, so why not? easier to put a rail on an 1911 than new stock on an AK sometime i think some post just to be negative,let make it an option, make the devs work for the cash we gave them, make them give us fun options. the 1911 is an icon of a gun, to mod the balls out of it would be epic

surprised this didn't get some interest as i guessing a tent is the same container type as a bag (but cant ware tent), so this could be implanted easily. maybe i should have not posted 'Temporary' in title, as it could be a good system, only 40 mins later i saw another post on tents 'Suggestion For Tents' which got feedback, but i feel that system is to messy, as it would effect all the tents you have placed (what if you have 10, player logs in and pop, ten tens show up lol) my system only makes one tent protected, the one they sleep in, other they have are left to current play situation. also to clean things up, person wont be standing there with a tent on there head, they will be laying it in with sleep animation, and cant use it to run too and log out to save tent, as 30 second log out rule would still effect. kill them before 30 seconds over, tent dropped :P added: also, my system lets you migrate the tent you sleep in to a different sever, just like all items attached to you

seen a 1911 with a barrel mag, 60 round i think. only problem with customs and barrles is, what happens to pistols inventory size? maybe one way to deal with space \/

I know the subject of tents on backpacks or on back has been posted before, but I wanted to make my idea clearly and not part of a thread that would confuse the topic very simple, ability to place tent in primary weapon slot, or primary tool slot, one or the other, not both as that would look silly :P some reasons for idea - would not have to have a big backpack or pick one up in hands. Seem silly that your require carrying or backpack - Over all looks. Not a fan of having a big backpack on all the time, nor would I want to carry a tent in my hand , just to have the option to have a tent on the move. - Game play. Other players could see you have a tent and rob/kill you for it (or trade, yeh sure:P). - Practical. Don't see why there should not be an option to place on shoulder slot (apart from the extra dev work) - RP. living without backpack and just clothe item slots, with a tent on you back (don't comment on the RP if you not RPer, just no point) - And... If weight effects or is going to effect player systems, your may want to reduce what you have to carry ('but how would a backpack add much extra weight?','... really? just give player the option')

I know we have paper and pens but it doesn't stand out if note is a spawn or placed there. This idea if more for RP. Crafting a small wooden sign from paper and wood (maybe need hammer too), which can only be placed outside. People could leave massage such as 'This is *names* area, if I find you here, I will shoot!". Or to make notices for clans/teams with camps out in the woods.

main point is, dies form starvation within an hour after having food along the way. wont get into realizum about what should happen before, just that the system is not correct yet

I decided I would see what happens if I ran around with no axe on my back, no gun showing and not in green cammo. Then I was side tracked! This was no longer a test of appearance and player reaction only, as I noticed my bobble hat was 'Ruined' ( feels). So off I went in search of a new hat, still alive and 45 mins later (and not being sneaky as i wanna come across people), i see one! But No! the server resets before I can pick it up. Still searching for my hat but have come across 3 people who didn't try to kill me on site, even helped one of them, the rest left me alone when I put my hands up. I don't think any of them had ammo, the mission continues, will let you know what happens :P

logged on missing my back pack and all items, and my high cap jacket. i know not of my friend did it cus i have no friends... why, why Dazy.. WHY!

Mission Umbrella Sure its not an real umbrella, but kinda looks like one (if only it would hang from belt). So wanted to try out a well dressed, no backpack, no vest civilian look. Using only the stunt baton. Surviving and managing to find water/food was turning out to be easy, didn't miss my backpack. just had to play it safe and only use my baton to escape zombies. Sadly this got a little boring, so it was time to look for better clothes... Not having any weapons (not even and axe) to kill zombies, I found my self running around in circles to much, so I needed to trap the zombies... But with some style :P Sadly I got to cocky and made a mistake! my leg got broken and I hand no way to fix it. I manage to crawl away from the zombie that crippled me, but soon after I was killed by other zombies as I crawled across the town :( Well, i will know for next time

if they made its once 24, hours, then KOSing would make scene :P and i could set a camp fire without worrying about a reset, and losing it

i like night server, even have 2 gas canisters :) when zombie attacks, place it on the floor, turn it back on, and kill z-ds

sadly i dont know how they have coded things, so i cant explain that

also i dont think they will make it a guarantied action, as last thing you want is, 10 seconds latter, all the 'V's kicking in so the get dropped and have no affect , when lag
