Radeon 7770 , not nvidia, i blame that :P Added; not just a random Post, when I was programming ( years ago, so many) , games here build for DX and had to make wrappers and work around for open GL. Especially before optimisation. (but I may be really out of date) -

Beta? whats is beta? i must have missed something (haven't fully ready all the posts, so sorry if i did) But a game is alpha till it as completed it plan/road map... Alpha/ beta (Gold) are not time scales, or references to public access (this didn become beta cus we can play it). they are development tags edit: assuming this is in ref to dayz.. if not, my bad for not reading back -

Well that is the point of experimental. To catch the big bugs :) It did 'exactly what it says on the tin'. -
sometimes i don't know why i bother! Lets forget my suggestion and have an argument about something that is not relevant <_< Dean may have said 'temporary solution..." but didn't list what is in the planing pipe line. so i made a suggestion

if it was me, along the alpha path, I would be testing out all sorts of loot rates, get info while working on things in the background. So when they do something that seems stupid, it may just be a boundary test. don't think they are just gonna set things to 'what seems correct' and lets play. Gotta push and test things, code, server and concepts

..also lowering spawns will have and average affect (if it goes to main servers), even with hoppers... hoppers may hop more, and end up killing each other :P

guessing there will be a wipe when this hits normal servers, to add DB fields for spray paint So still got time to take some risk with what you have, before losing it to a wipe. (only a guess, and i mean when it rolled out as main patch) -

think they just adjusted the 'eye' memory point for the gun, so that it lines up better. dosen't effect how the bullet leaves the gun -
i had fun when doing a run without a backpack (for a test), still had a pistol and ammo, and lots of food (no m4 or mosin by choice). Could have gone to the woods and chilled for a day before needing a refill. But not having a backpack means you need to think about what you take. Added: and didn't die on this run (but got bored), just gave away my stuff and when on a fresh loot run :P

i have seen no problems with mid range computer (500 Pound , 800 US i think) and as this is 'Alpha' don't kill me yet, when the game is done, computers that can run it well with be quite cheap :P someone can do the moore's law thing if you want -
i do, when i modded old dayz, backpacks where rare.... so when you got the most basic one, you where chuffed! Added: making backpacks a rare gift, not a given

guess they are just ranging effect. seeing what happens with new setting..mining data. but i don't know -
That part can be funny, feeding the patient all the med you have... luckily, i think this wont kill them in new patch :P as for the long gun. seems good but... if you not a fighter, it just makes you more of a threat, and may get killed faster.

gave all that way after the test, and started fresh :P Love looting and trying different 'load outs' but never carry M4 or mosin, as i am a medic lol Added: even when i did my KOS test (i didn't like it, but had too, balance research) i still only used pistols

I have had the most fun on experimental server, cus they don't seem to reset, and I whent on one after it had been up for a day... all the loots was gone, had to look for what people had missed, no easy guns... and player interaction was more interesting, as it was not , @BANG Still after 8 hours of really looking, I had my pistol and lots of ammo, yellow boxes, food and water to last me a few days. Rather than 30 mins to 1 hour, and fully kitted. Added: Hope they make the game harder when server hopping is fix.. so you have to survive and not just take a walk to the nearest gun

Lowering loot may make no scene for normal server, but on experimental, it may show an effect, so just some info recon, till they fix server hopping. Just a guess

less spawns, takes me ages to find all the guns and them hide them :P
