Recently I have been getting a kind of rippling effect on my monitor while playing, I think due to refresh rate perhaps. My monitor is a 42" LED 120hz. I dont get this rippling effect any other time, just during DayZ and only when moving and usually only on the bottom half of the monitor. Since the video options dont include refresh rate does anyone have any ideas?

I never had this issue before but it only just started recently. This has nothing to do with an in-game effect. Enabling VSync helped a little bit but I'm still getting it.

Come to think of it this started happening when I hooked up my second monitor. Main monitor is hdmi but 2nd monitor is using regular adapter. Vid card is a GTX580

I've said it before and I will say it again, KOS'ers are nothing more than cowardly bitches. And most of them rely on glitches and exploits on top of their cowardly camping tactics. Communicating and interacting with players is far more fun than just left clicking. Give it a whirl, or are you too chicken shit? For the OP and people like him... GET OFF THE COAST!!! The only people that stay on the coast are cowardly cocksucking KOSers who think this game is a mod for COD.

Not just the 200 series. i7 960 @3.4 12gb RAM @1800 gtx 580 1000w psu Windows7 64bit Almost every time I play I'm crashing to desktop. Sometimes bluescreen, sometimes the game just minimizes w/audio still going. I only got bluescreened twice and never thought to write down the errors. It is a video driver issue though Im sure.

I cant stop finding pristine LR scopes. Sad thing is I never use the Mosin. I prefer the M4 and the only ACOG I ever find is always badly damaged. :(

M-16 isn't a machine gun, it is a rifle. An assault rifle to be exact. An M60 on the other hand IS a machine gun (GPMG or general purpose machine gun). SAW is a light machine gun. If it is a belt fed weapon then it is typically a machine gun.
