I ALWAYS carry at least 1 splint on me at any time. Or morphine if I happen to find them. And for rags, I carry a stack in EACH piece of clothing in case I get shot and 1 stack gets ruined. It sounds like overkill but I'm the 'you can never be too careful' kinda survivor.

Found a helicrash at NWAF on the private server I play on. Found a UMP, AUG, 2x 60rd mags. Hadnt looted anywhere else yet at NWAF. It was a full 50/50 server. So....

You have to use a knife or axe to cut clothes into rags. cant just tear them up any more.

Are there no other spawn points in the game any more on .58? I get Svet spawns every time for the past couple weeks now. Not once ever have I spawned anywhere else. Frustrating.

Spawn points should be spread out all along the coast from Svetlojarsk to Kamenka.

People will still kos inland, dont be fooled. I always stay off the coast and head inland, and I probably meet 1 friendly out of every 100 players I meet. The rest just start mindlessly shooting as soon as they see you like the mooks they are.

PvP can SOMETIMES be fun but I definitely dont go looking for it. I find it boring for the most part. If I wanted constant pvp I'd play something else. I'd rather the 'badguys' in this game held people up, interacted with players, robbed them, whatever. But to just shoot people with no warning, for no reason than to just kill another player is straight up boring as fuck and sinply douchey. Make the game interesting and actually talk to people. Killing from range for the sake of killing another player is pointless and boring.

Being a Canadian army vet I would greatly approve of seeing Canadian (and other) NATO clothes.

I have 1400+ hours in the game and have seen maybe 5 blatant (teleporters, flyers, etc) hackers and that was several months ago. Battleye is doing a fantastic job keeping them at bay vs what many other games have.

Loved reading your experiences as a new player. My first days were the minute the game became available on Steam so there were only a couple guns, no trucks, zombies running through all objects, etc. This is a great time to be a new player so enjoy (not that I didnt enjoy it. Seeing the progression of the game from day 1 has been awesome. I remember back when we could put bananas in chest holsters! lol).

Yes they work. I got sick drinking pond water and got cholera. I was losing hydration faster than I could lose my stuffed status. Ate antibiotics every 10 mins or so for some time and it finally went away.

Oh I knew all that. I just never made or even seen one before other than on videos and such. It just gave me something to do and I love the look of it.

It would make no sense if water pumps were more rare, only in major towns. Any small farming community is going to have a well/water pump. Do you think a village like Staroye is not going to have a well, that they would walk or drive all the way to Elektro or Solnichny for their water? I think it is fine just the way it is.

I primarily play 3pp because 1pp gives me bad headaches after about 20 minutes of it in this game. Ive never experienced this from any other fps game. In DayZ I will go first person when I enter buildings or most urban combat so long as it's short lived. 90% of my game time is 3pp otherwise I'm eating tylenol like they were M&M's and lying down for an hour in a dark room.

Why does everyone assume all Canadians speak French? We have ONE single province that is "French-speaking" and every other province hates them. -
People keep crying for the devs to fix this and that, but there's nothing to be fixed - its all still being built. Some top a-list games were TEN YEARS in development. It's quite amazing that even today people still have no clue what a game being in alpha stages of development actually means.
