I'm honestly not suggesting all french gamers are terrible at games or terrible people, it just amused me that they acted exactly like the stereotype. I act like a drunken irishman a lot of the time too. -

I was in the process of baiting a zombie so I could get a southern spawn when I saw them. Even though they struggled against that one zombie I doubt I'd have been able to escape five heavily armed players. -
who else can't wait? and what do you hope to see in .59? Apart from the new vehicles, I really hope we see the return of the infected.

It's a real Queen of Sheba tweet tbh. Oh I might just do this or I might do that...on a whim. Is there no actual plan? Is it just make it up as you go? The biggest arguments on here have been 1st v 3rd and honestly 3rd is getting more and more arcade like and I hate it. But to suddenly pretend you are a big 1st person proponent after two years where you provided maybe one 1st person official server per ten 3rd person is strange. If you were a real 1st person evangelist then you'd make most official servers first person now and you would've done it from the start.

I'd quite like that but I think as a project lead and at this stage in a project, proper planning trumps stuff that just crossed your mind.

The question has been avoided/ignored a couple of times now. My question had a load of like so it's not one you'd just scroll past. The initial question was dismissed over sematics (the poster said hip fire.) There's a video somewhere of how strafing right and walking backwards defeats sway completely and walking left and forward makes it totally minimal but from the ignoring of my question and a previous question it seems like this is a design decision but not one they want to talk about. Ironic to see aiming down the sights in the fal video. And on that topic, as a modeller myself I'd far rather model guns and exciting things but could the team not have completed all the buildings that are exploitable as well? Generally the exploiter exploits a model with an area that is currently supposed to be unenterable. Why not complete the models? I know they are only boring builds but why not finish the camo building so all the doors work so there isn't some place to glitch into? Same for loads of buildings. The concentration seems to be on models most of us may never even see. (next day edit: left the above as is but still have faith, think I probably jumped to conclusions and am looking forward to eating my words.) plus

apart from long distance sniping there's no good reason to aim down the sights of a gun, is this intentional? We can shoot more accurately and quickly without aiming down the sights. imo that's a shame.

The biggest, most immediate bug fix for me will be the loot farming at the curved roof barracks. I didn't realise it was such a easy thing currently. I wonder will we need a wipe when it goes to stable also.

Wow, I didn't know that. I presumed we all servers had persistence on. So basically grumpy has the initial higher spawn rate.

I played on two private hives the other day (grumpy gamers and wobos) and there was a noticeable difference in loot between the two. Grumpy had loads of loot and Wobos didn't have that much. I did approx the same run on both gorka>stary tents>veresnik base>zelen base and on wobo's all I really got is sks ammo. On grumpy's I got an ak74u plus mags, akm+mags plus I saw a couple more akms. Also on wobos there was a lot of rubbish dropped that obviously didn't get cleared up and on grumpy there was far more general low tier loot whereas on wobo there was a lot of empty buildings.

officers barracks for me or curved roof barracks. It's obviously not a tent wouldn't know to to pronounce "quonset" tbh. btw the key to communication is getting your message across not trying to feel superior to the people you are speaking with. Haven't heard one person call it the officers tent but I imagine in a stressful situation a person could call it that but I also assume we'd all know what they were talking about. -
regions aren't contiguous any more. for example, the nwaf is region 4 but so are the tents at myshkino - if I understand correctly.

My home town too! I think it's starting to get well known now though. .... Anyway still hoping for an exp release this week (maybe friday) but not expecting it. Hardly played stable at all.

The only issue i see with in game server reporting is asshats rage reporting servers. Having it somewhat difficult cuts that out. However, we have an epidemic of join=kick servers that with even the lightest of monitoring should be easy to weed out. tbh it's not much of an issue to me, I play either private or high pop.
