Any idea how long experimental is likely to stay up after 45 is pushed to stable? What usually happens?

I suppose the problem is you don't have conclusive proof linking the hacker with the steam profile. You have circumstantial evidence and they can't ban someone for that. I've no idea what happens behind the scenes with vac but I'm sure they take reports seriously. Whether you want to report when you can't prove 100% who cheated is up to you.

If you go to their profile in steam you can report a violation "suspected cheater" there along with whatever evidence you have. It sounds like you have pretty strong (but not conclusive) evidence. I'd give it a shot.

The item stealing stuff seems like it's a missing sanity check from being fixed. Have to say I love the battleye ban threads on steam. My most pressing concern though is, what's with the super narrow website from the 80s?

hack. it's widespread atm unfortunately. it's been reported and is in the bug tracker.

I hate to say stuff like it's trivial to fix this but surely on joining a server some sort of check could do done that changes clips/mags from thousands to their actual value. I thought the fix was the small security update a while ago. It was like a hotfix.

What do you mean by fixed? If people are able to dupe items and infinite ammo clips fire infinite ammo then there is an unlimited amount of infinite ammo clips. People are selling them now. Not having a go at you at all but I was led to believe that the recent small security patch made those clips fire blanks once their capacity was spent but it seems like they are truly unlimited. I asked some guy who found one to do a test: Again not having a go at you, you are in the detection and banning business rather than the stopping business.

I got the same message recently. What I did is immediately escape back to the server list and join a different server. Didn't lose anything.

Just as an update the latest update seems to have fixed this. I quit the game and refreshed the server list 5 times in a row and here I am able to post to the internet immediately afterwards! Cheers Devs! edit: nope! still happening

+1. I can play the game fine but if I refresh the server list once or twice my internet dies for 5 minutes.

Our characters aren't compatible with the previous version. I could've logged out at the top of a new police station and have various new items on me. What would happen then? Some sort of inception type vibe...at best.
