Played a couple of hours earlier as a new character on a full private hive. Didn't pick one apple. Have an improvised backpack, magnum and mosin with ammo. Full green statuses. Was by myself.

The weapon sway is unrealistic imo. It's not a communication issue, it's a game mechanic issue. I wouldn't mind if the sway pattern was in line with breathing but it's not. I really like the idea of having to hold your breath etc but the sway adds nothing to that.

It's very easy to thrive, let alone survive. There were times when the cle/loot were broken when it was like playing the long dark but generally I have rarely had to eat apples/berries, hunt or grow food. It's an amazing thing when you say to yourself "I think I'm going to die here" and then survive.

I honestly don't know the tent fit in the dry bag. I'v only ever pitched a couple (not a euphemism) and I've always carried in hands. I knew they fit in mountain backpacks but apart from that i didn't have a clue. Brilliant OP btw - love shit like this

My issue is it's a lot easier to get a gun for sniping or even an automatic weapon than it is to get a semi-auto mid-range gun like the sks.

There's a mod for arma3 called exile and this is a mod of that. What I'd do for zombies on a similar scale...(see start and last few mins)

What gets me is people hopping in the actual building instead of looting, running to the woods, hopping. Used to be the same in the neaf prison building upstairs back when we had the reloading sound on login. I've seen people log into the shower room of veresnik barracks and one guy managed to log out behind a bush within the compound just as my bullets were in the air. Amazing how many people I met. You'll probably meet more people on low pops at high value areas than high pops. Thing is people server hopping and playing on low pops are fooling themselves and missing out on the game. They'll all have this high end loot and absolutely shit themselves when they come into contact with anyone. I'd much rather have semi-ok gear I've earned legit.

When I first played I used to loot the neaf on low pops and it was amazing the amount of people I'd bump into. It's actually one of the reasons I dislike low pops now. So no I don't think it's a hack. It's either another server hopper of a low pop player looting a high value location. Funny a low pop hopper complaining about cheating though.

imo it's on high now and will be dialled down gradually. they can do that without wipes/patches

If you want action just hang around veresnik for a little while. I think it beats everywhere for area to action ratio. Also people hop it a lot so full or empty server you'll get a lot of action there.
