I've spent more hours messing around with graphics settings in dayz/arma than I have playing some other games.

I've been shot through a tree by a legit player but from the op it sounds like a mixture of cheats, glitches and bugs.

This happened to me when i went from exp back to stable. Worked for me first time but what I find solves be update issues most times is a simple reboot. The amount of time I've wasted in the past instead of just rebooting trying to fix various be issues is ridiculous.

If the constant threat of being killed by random assholes didn't exist I wouldn't be playing this game.

Just made two splints:cool: Try a few times and try different combinations of dragging rags to sticks and dragging sticks to rags. This was on a 30/50 server that'd been up about 3.5 hours

You need to create a separate account for the tracker -
Cheers. Any server details. Persistent/Not. Full/Med/Empty? It's bizarre some people can make them and some can't. No-one I play with can craft splints any more.

I actually do believe you BUT I'd like to see it. I think it would help if we have evidence of some people being able to craft spnts on certain servers. It's all good as you guys say. I totally appreciate you going above and beyond and doing a vid.

I keep on hearing this. Do a video please. Make a splint and then use it. Or get someone else to make a splint. No-one I play with can make a splint on any server.

how I got around it was, I left the server I was in and joined a low pop persistent server, dropped everything, and got my buddy to kill me. then i ran back to my gear. I wish they'd make morphine spawn everywhere seeing as splints don't work.

The attack isn't just for the "lulz" it's genuine hatred from grinch type characters who will be alone at christmas imo. I'd be looking at disgruntled ex-employees first tbh. -

nope it's called a purchase. If you buy a can of beans at walmart your money goes towards hiring staff/product testing/advertising/ etc you haven't invested in beans you just bought them -

you have fundamentally misunderstood the word "invest." Fair enough, you have funded development and you are even invested in the results but you haven't invested in the game. -

investment is the act of putting money into something in the hope of returning more money. It also means something else so it is fair to say "we have not invested in dayz yet we are deeply invested." -

I've no issue with servers being down but I do think dayz over-relies on a centralised architecture. For instance, there's very little reason for private shards to connect to the central hive servers at all. Yet it's designed that way. Similarly, I'm a bit dubious on the idea of a centralised loot economy. It is kind of ironic how soviet an idea that is though. -
