  1. Something I thought up that would directly apply to most players scavenging habits. I used the search and could not find anything regarding this so I'm gonna post my most likely heavily flamed suggestion in here. I apologize in advance for my bad english, for my main language this is not. Right now there's 2 type of food and one type of drink in the game, along with medicine that is basicially needed to survive. Now what if food/drinks was added, that would give you a bit more for the (non existent) buck? Say if an energy drink was added, that would spawn much much rarer than a soda, but in addition to fullfilling your thirst would also give you small boost to sprinting for 10 minutes or so? This concept can be added to many more things: How about bandages? Add a more rare bandage, some sort of SUPER FLEX bandage that will cause the bandaging animation to be done way faster than a normal bandage? More types of food, how about some instameals, that can be cooked over a fire and add 400 blood instead of 200? Not quite as good as cooked meat, but it's a middleground and would give fires another use. Or this: Add medicine that will buff your blood by 500 (Can be changed according to balance) for a limited time? Have it be a really rare spawn, hence make it spawn at a random spawn somewhere. Like a crashed chopter, but how about a crashed ambulance? Hell you could make a NVG rare kind of med that would permanently boost your blood by 1k, until you die that is. You just know all the min/max players would go nuts over them, no matter how rare it would be. But in any means, don't make the buffs all big and fancy like. Minor and simple things that is. (This isn't a mmorpg!) Even if those items won't tip the scale and make you immortal, they give you a slight benefit, enough that will make players look for them. I mean hey, why stick with the normal bandages when given enough time, you can find the NICE ones? It's a win/win situation: Noone can complain that they are so rare (Like back then, the antibiotics which you NEEDED *coughs*) because you don't NEED them to survive but like NVGs, they give you a bit of an edge when used correctly. Likewise you can't bring the "Ugh, even more stuff that clutters my inventory!" argument, cause once again, you don't NEED those things. I don't know how well arma would even handle temporary buffs without spazzing out, or if it's even possible, it would cartainly make scavenging stores much more interesting. As said, just an idea and if this was brought up before, I apologize, I did use the search option.
