    Take in mind that even if I do post these suggestions I am aware that the zombies are under development, I just want to make things clear and I do believe alot of people share my opinion on this matter. Zombies at the moment poses no threat at all, they are more of an visual gameplay mechanic and since the game is about zombie survival the whole current concept is just wrong in my eyes. There are 5 major improvements that should be done, atleast 1 of them is needed but preferably all 5: 1. Make headshot only on zombies. (classic indeed, but classic makes it terrifying, imagine 20 zombies running towards you with wobbling heads, I would run without a second thought which would make it interesting for a change) 2. Make zombies faster than players. (since there is no fatigue system for players it is too easy to outrun them, when playing the mod I feel the zombies are much more of a threat, Ive never died by a zombie in the standalone) 3. Make zombies more dangerous. (Make them kill you in only a few hits, cause severe bleeding, making them able to grab you when close so you have to use E + Q to break out the same way with handcuffs) 4. Make zombies infectious. (Thats right, in movies when youre bit youre f*cked, oldschool is the best school. The infection they cause should have a higher probability chance and should be uncurable while antibiotics serve as a temporary cure. When you die from any other cause than a headshot, your body gets reanimated and will walk around with your "character", means it looks like you, acts like a zombie and will drop the same loot that you had on you when you died, it is simply awesome and doable so why the f*ck not?) 5. Make zombies more attracted to sound and vision. (Shooting a handgun should attract zombies from ATLEAST 200 meters, snipers would go 1km, anything else in between, vision should be nearly the same as a player has, makes prone usuable and viable when going for looting or sneaking through places with zeds) Kinda hit the jackpot here, not much more to say.

    It is actually possible to have child zombies in the game, since there is another zombie game called "No More Room In Hell" which features zombie children and you can actually blast them in the face with a shotgun! So why the f*ck not son?

    Yeah but I like to think that the infection causes congenital analgesia aka CIP. (an illness where the sick does not feel pain) Which makes them very resistant to body damage, 30 rounds shall put them down or 1 shotgun blast. You should also be able to break their legs, force them to crawl with just a couple of shots.

    Indeed, longer infected zombies shall be slow, while newly infected shall be fast, kind of like how it is in The Last of Us.

    Yeah I just dont want to be bored anymore when going through a town for loot, I want to get excited, aware and scared when searching through a building at night, feeling the fear of the possibility to stumble upon a zombie making the "self pleasure thing" while waiting behind a door or a corner. I want to fear them, not laugh at them while outrunning them as if I were some olympic running master, zombies should not feel fatigued, therefor they will not get tired and will chase you as far as possible so you either have to lose them doing urban parkour or simply kill them.
  6. You do know that you can use E + Q to break the handcuffs right? Breaktime is determined by the quality of the handcuffs, use Dayzintel if you want information of certain items etc.
  7. Well in simple terms; When you use the M4 its harder to kill prone targets in the fields since they hide in grass, generally speaking. When you use Mosin its easier to kill targets from a distance since grass do not render from far away. I know they want to avoid to render grass at such distances because of performance issues, but they have to find a solution that allows grass to render at the same distance buildings and other stuff does. It is way too easy to kill targets from far away at the moment and I hope this is something they will work on. Please refrain from "It is alpha" comments, since the very first message that appears when starting the game is a warning about alpha stage, but trolls will be trolling. So well, what do you think?

    The developers said that it is planned for example "Ruined" clothing to be able to drop items as chance while running due to the damage. What worries me is that when they implement this, I will not be able to run around with ruined items looking like a hobo without losing stuff, I like to wear ruined clothing over prestine (aka gucci) clothing. Items being ruined does not bother me since I understand that an item that is ruined should not work properly, but cloths should still be worn without the fear of losing items. Lets say I have a raincoat that is ruined, a prestine one has 4 slots, worn should also have 4 slots, damaged + badly damaged 3 slots, and ruined only 2 slots, but not the ability to drop items upon running. The quality for clothing should be mainly for appearance, but removing slots as damage goes on could be a nice touch. Just a thought. Would you also like to be able to wear ruined clothing (aka ghetto wear) in the apocalypse without any significant disadvantage? The Last of Us may want some hobo appearance. Another great idea that was given by AntonioAJC is: "Maybe duck tape may change a ruined piece of clothing into badly damaged?"

    Backpack shouldnt drop anything, that is just evil! :( I'd go for appearance only on backpacks. Well in all seriousness, realism is a though deal, lets leave it to the developers, I'm sure they'll surprise us with something.

    Let me remind you that they have their own engine, which means they have the possiblity to shape it anyway they want including performance and how objects impact it, besides they are game developers, it is their job. And stop fu*king talking about the guns, the whole thread was about grass density in the first place, if that was not obvious enough I was so kind to change the title for people with low IQ such as yourself. Move along troll.

    It is a new game, released in 2014(kinda), so they should focus on high-end 2012-2013 PC's, but I see your point.

    Shouldnt matter really, if your zeroing is perfect and you're right on target, the bullet should hit, I actually have no idea why they made the guns inaccurate, maybe they thought "Hey I got an idea to remove random kos, lets make the guns inaccurate so people have a bigger chance to survive!" and along with that they retardedly jumped on the troll train. Well that is my guess.

One of the biggest problem I have with DayZ is that when I want my character to go from prone to upstanding it takes forever, just today I had someone sniping on me when I was in prone and I tried to stand up and my character was just laying there, so during the 10 seconds I was screaming "STAND THE FU*K UP!" I could've died, the delay is what could be the difference between life and death, I really hope they will fix all type of animation delays like eating, holding, crouching, proning, sprinting and aiming asap. In my opinion this is the most crucial thing that needs to be fixed at the moment, you'll get so mad when you see your character doing nothing while you're repeatedly pressing a key while under fire or other intense actions. Since they did say themselves that before implementing other things they need to fix all the stuff that is already in the game, so animations and actions should be on the top priorities but I've heard nothing about it from the developers. If I had died by that kind of thing I would have no keyboard left. What are your opinions on this matter?

    Yeah but it feels retarded since no one would put any valuable in a pocket with a hole in it, instead they would use the pockets that works. Hence; reducing inventory space on specific item due to quality, or highlight pockets with a chance to drop loot red or whatever.
