<<<< [How to] Improve random player killing. >>>>

Well a game will always be a game, dreaming of a 100% realistic game is like dreaming for world peace, there are way too many factors to consider, the biggest one of all is the fact that when you play a game, youre safe. Since you cant die IRL, you wont act as if it actually were IRL, hence you can never get a fully realistic game, thats why they have to consider to start making it into an actual game, not into a pointless dream that will never happen, hence benefit & punishment from different actions. That is a realistic view, anything else is actually ignorant since being realistic is how you deal with things, day dreaming is for pot smokers. Also as obvious it may be, people seem to forget that these are MY options, so ofcourse it is options that I think is improvements, that is why people can decide for themselves wether to like it or not, I do not force anyone to think in my terms, Im simply putting a suggestion like anyone else, a suggestion from MY point of view, doing anything else than that does not make any sense. -
My only real complaint is the glitchy lagginess.

Ofcourse they will "probably" fix it, if it turns out that they did not bullshit about the power they now have over their custom made engine, anything is actually possible for them, since they control it all. -
Third person view removal from SA discussion
Zeeb (DayZ) replied to lev's topic in General Discussion
Simply like this; 1. Remove 3rd person view. 2. Make the option to toggle Mouse Acceleration on/off enabled. 3. Add option to use Raw Mouse Input. Problem solved. -

Some people does not seem to understand my obvious message... I am NOT trying to actually "remove" random player killing, I simply want to improve it in terms of making it less active, if you were in a REAL zombie apocalypse, you wouldnt just go out the first thing you do and murder everyone you see. (unless youre a complete maniac that never got hugged as a baby) Just get this into your heads, I want to "IMPROVE" not "REMOVE", shouldnt be THAT hard to get it. I had to actually change the title for people to understand this, annoying indeed.. -

They are merely options that could prevent random killers, it is not in my interest to add them all, but 1 or some so that we can look upon a brighter future, these are merely different ideas that could improve it, not something that definitely should be added, thank you for your response. -

We'll see how it turns out. -
Simple, when you browse through your inventory, your character should sit down and do an animation where he checks through the backpack. I do not know if this is already planned but if it is then awesome. Take The Last of Us as a good example of how it is done.

Sometimes my character doesn't save and I come back as a freshspawn!

I think you guys are simply joining private hive servers, I noticed that on some servers I got a new character, while on the obvious official ones I still have my old character, that might be the problem? -

@liquidcactus: I've never once mentioned any type of HUD change or implementing indicators of any kind, I want it to be difficult, that is why I play, but that does not disprove the fact that the game suffers from extremely annoying random killers, I always got good runs and most of the cases I dont encounter bandits, but I do know for a fact that this is a problem, I myself try not to shoot people, especially not people who poses no threat, while random bandits do enjoy it. That is the problem. @aj_: With humanity implemeted, the developers can reach such heights, my options are kind of based on a humanity system. My options are simply how I would do it if I were a developer. -
that is the whole idea, you can not simply check your backpack contents while you run, especially in a gunfight, then you would never start to check your backpack, rather focus on survival aspects such as running
-
Thats exactly where I got inspiration from, The Last of Us is the best buy I've done in years.
-
In a case where your character does not possess a backpack the character can simply play an animation where he searches his pockets

Please keep in mind this is mere options, the DayZ developers could bend these however they want, these are just simple starting points. -
Where is the option "They posed a potentional threat."

@Merle_Dixon: That is why my options does not allow such random warfare acts which CoD players possess, this will prevent them from just going about and killing everyone, this will force them to make a well thought out decision. -

@JoostVoordeel: "I beg to differ, it just needs a broad selection of options to partake in and the possibilities could be endless." That is what my topic is all about, please read all of the options and you'll see it, thank you for your input. -

@Merle_DIxon: While that is one way, the above mentioned options of mine still provides a realistic experience. But thanks for your input. -

@phL: 100% sandbox is not fun after awhile, I'm not saying we should remove the core gameplay, just improve it so people actually can have endgame fun while it still is both difficult and dangerous, none of my options removes bandits, they just make it less likely to encounter a deuchebag. -
This is only a list of all my topics so it would be easier to browse through them, enjoy. [suggestions] How to remove random player killing Inventory animation [Discussions] - [Other] - __________ /zeeb

@Vitols: Do not get me wrong, I think bandits are essential to the game and it's core gameplay, but "too much of the sweets makes it taste bitter.", also we all know this is the biggest problem DayZ is currently facing. @gibonez: That is why I made this list in the first place, because there is obviously ways to counter it. :) -
It is just a way to easily organize it for myself since I will also have the thread in my signature.

The only things that makes a difference except appearance is sights, flashlights and magazines. Also, bipods, bayonetts and silencers does not work.

Go bandit hard, the game is a nest of random bandits. Either you kill them, or they kill you, does not matter if they're unarmed.
