Several other things can be accounted for you to "randomly die", but there have already been some reported cases of people randomly falling over dead or unconscious. Just know that this is an uncommon thing to happen, but is still capable and is not unusual to the community. tldr; early Alpha, is something major to be fixed soon

Painkillers (as well as any other type of medication in-game) take effect over time. Usually full recovery takes about 30 minutes time. :thumbsup:

Using morphine, making/using a splint, or relogging can sometimes fix legs without having to do anything.

Yes. Only your steam name will determine your in-game name. But...

Turn your VOIP all the way down. This will get rid of the annoying global sounds you'll occasionally hear from players' mics (this will not affect the sounds of mics that you hear directly). But to answer your problem, I don't know. My best advice would be to try adjusting all the additional audios to see which one directly affects ingame mics. :thumbsup:

The thrill is even greater when you dry them of blood by IVs and make them fistfight their friend to see who lives to be let go. And then drink coffee by a fire afterwards.

You can upload pictures by going down to the comment section of this topic, click the "Image" tab, and paste the URL of your picture(s) (that is, if you went to a picture hosting site to have your pic converted into the browser to be accessible by URL [i.e. postimg.org]) Would love to see some of your screenshots/images. :thumbsup:

Change To Grammatical errors are lined-through and the fixes are highlighted red. Be sure to: include where your friend was/what he was doing at the time when he was shot, how you two met and what was the situation like, and slow down the pace of the story. Your entire piece is also in past tense, even though you mention three different time sequences (i.e. "standing in the grasslands outside of Elektro, listening to the...", "Alexander and I met in the town of Balota.", "Before I could see him, I was shot... ...I was in a cold, dark room!") Good luck and I hope to see more addition to this story soon. :thumbsup:

At its selling rate so far, it might increase with all the people currently buying it. Would make sense marketing-wise. Your best chance would probably buy as soon as possible. I doubt this thing will hit the Holiday Sale, MAYBE a spring sale. Dunno.

I'd imagine that half the playerbase on SA that came from the mod should at least know 80% of the original area by now from experience. But y'know.. there's always that other cheap half that needs 24/7 guidance and knowledge of location.. Oh well, no one said you had to play the game strictly for what it is.

You are going to remain alive until you can find a means of leaping suicidefully from a building, being a zombie's lunch, or getting put-out-of-your-misery-ed by another player. If you ever go unconscious, though, you will have the option to respawn. So keep that in mind.
