There should be no system that glorifies killing in this game, be it humanity, kill counter, etc. There should be no visual clues as to a player's past either, i.e. bandit clothing, not even clothing that is classed as bandit that people can obtain. What there should be though, are benefits for people who wish to take on a hero mentality. This is just off the top of my head, so I've not thought too deeply about it, but this is a survival game, and those that aid other people's survival should have a richer experience than those that just want to shoot people for no good reason other than their own bloodlust. If they kill, they do so knowing that they become outsiders.
