  1. same problem here! massive FPS drop as soon as it starts raining AFTER a couple of minutes. Couldn't even log out. Game went completely unresponsive, had to kill the process.

    Lot of rain recently

the rain will most probably kill your FPS. It's not about your rig...a 2500k overclocked and a 770 shouldn't go down to like ~1FPS after a couple of minutes. Clearly, weather effects were implemented to run performance tests. And, PERFORMANCE IS ABYSMAL. Needs further adjusting or patch rain out ASAP folks. Currently it's unplayable for me and my friends too.

Hard to hit zombies with melee

Okay. I'd suggest: my favorite Z owning tactic. 1 take out melee weapon. Important: Don't raise the weapon (space key by default). this will cause the weapon to do a diagonal swing rather then a top attack from above. 2 run past the Z holding like ~1m distance. 3 Keep your aim dead on zombie. 4 A Second befor you pass the Z, click LMB=swing your weapon. This will most likely result in a hit while you pass the Z. Z is not able to turn quickly enough to engage you. Most likely it will even stand still to turn. rinse&repeat Just learn how to avoid their attacks, circle them and try mashing LMB in the beginning while you do so. You'll eventually get the grip on it. Just don't get into their aiming zone, never stand still. They won't hurt you then. If you want to do a frontal attack raise your weapon (space) and hack at it aiming rather high. Remember to keep the right distance, your weapon actually swings. If you're fast enough the Z can't hit you. cheers.

    Weather

Rocket said that rain caused some performance issues/server lags and was disabled. Will return when it's running smooth (hello beta, then.)

Hard to hit zombies with melee

hard to hit? you are kidding, right? currently you just have to mash LMB while circling the Z and it will go down with ease while unable to hit you. You might kill a Z with a firefighter's axe in a 1on1 charge as well because player'S attack animation runs through quicker like the Z's one. Rather silly and easy mode. And yes, I know. Alpha.

Lootable Buildings are Becoming an Endagered Species

You don't need to hop servers to notice missing loot in lots of civilian structures that spawned loot before. Adding enterable buildings just to forget adding loot tables to them is quite weird anyway. Devs should add at least some rotten apples, pen and paper to confirm that those buildings can spawn loot but are not meant to spawn useful stuff until some point in the future. To enter houses that were clearly NOT looted by anyone else just to not find a sodden rotten kiwi is rather demotivating and breaks immersion. Because it makes certain villages like Olsha nearly as worthless for loot as they were in the mod (due to their composition). Some buildings that were spawn places for food&drink /like the quoted log cabin) in the mod. they are not in SA. Why? That needs to be adressed. the issue might have something to do with overall loot balancing (forcing players to enter certain structures). But considering Rockets surprise when he entered a known no-loot building in his stream just to notice that it had been "cleaned out" by somebody made me a bit worried, too. Add some loot tables, please.
