This is so true. Strange the patch created a problem of this nature. It'll get fixed, game is still playable but not maybe as enjoyable.

Could have been jacked by one of your "friends" as I have been in that tower from day one and even to this day. Never had a problem. Also you did seem to rage a bit when you died. Had I been in your group I would have axed you just because I already don't like you. Game is great. Not happy Rocket is taking another vacation. I mean $30 million dollars and he goes on break. I guess money makes you free from burden. Not attacking him just saying. They did warn us: BETA will last a year or more. Hell it took 1.5 to bring the game out, glad it finally came. Having fun, but playing BF4 and MWO until they add more. Even the girlfriend is really bored, and she played 1000 of hours in the MOD.

Verified game cache. Launched game. Went to change the Overall settings to VERY HIGH and the resolution changes. And no matter what I do, everytime I edit the cfg and launch the game, other settings are on that if I try to change them like disabling AO the game automatically changes to some other default video settings. Complete baffled.

Might give that try. Not just yet. Want to see what else could be the problem. Thanks.

So I installed new drivers for a Nvidia 630m and loaded up DayZ SA no problems. Played the game at my normal resolution and decided to max everything out. Suddenly I cannot use my default resolution and changing the CFG does nothing even when I make it read-only. I changed the RENDER and RESOLUTION lines to match my 1366x768 desktop. Nothing works. I even checked my Nvidia settings and also made sure Geforce Experience is off. Nothing. And there is also this shadow like box on the screen, very faint. You can see it. And also the trees are messed up no matter what I do. Any and all help is appreciated.

Click my profile and click my Steam link and see that I have been playing ARMA everything plus DayZ. Can you prove you have? PS: Sorry I don't live on forums as I am too busy playing games and living. Oh wait, you only have 50+ posts. All credibility lost. Troll much?

I am not arguing. I can stream DayZ in 1080p for you to see that drinking will never make you sick YET. And that my character is still alive after 11 hours of drinking from wells and ponds. You are the only one arguing. Even with people screaming in your face you are still defiant. I mean god man, how much can you take? Dude, just stop. Multiple times you have said "I have gotten sick from wells, I don't know if it is a bug but I know I got sick" and we have all said multiple times not true. Not even a bug. 11 hours, can you read me? On just one survivor without getting sick from wells or ponds. Damn man. And cursing ain't helping your case. Hell, 23 hours on record and I never once got sick from a well. Can you even prove you own it? You can click on my profile and see I own it. I really think you are trolling.

Just stop man. I am on 11 hours drinking like a fish out of water from ponds and wells without ever using a water tablet and this is 2 of us. We drink 30 times until it says "stuffed" and have yet to lose color or become sick. My inventory screen says healthy, I am so healthy I have filled 2 blood bags and drank out of the wells/ponds to accelerate my healing without ever getting sick. Yes it will change and be implemented, but as of now it is not working. This is a fact so stop spreading disinformation. You must of eaten spoiled food or been hit by a zombie and infected which I know works, as that will get you sick but not pond water or well water just yet. You got people telling you that you don't have to purify water yet and you keep saying you do, no you don't. My first post wasted on a hard head.
