Really? Must be the server i'm on then, I died of hunger in the end because I couldn't find any food so re-spawned and headed north. I hadn't looted a thing and met a guy who saw me, could see I had no gear not even a baseball cap and unloaded a M4 into me lol, waste of ammo but its that mentality that ruins it. Sure I understand killing people for loot but killing new spawned player because??? lol COD kids.

I put up a good fight and knocked them both down but they got back up and omanom'd me.

Most of my loot has come from corpses I have found lying about. I went from Electro to Cherno and a few of the smaller towns around and found nothing worth picking up. Now extremely hungry and dehydrating quickly lol.. I just want to eat!!! Need more food and drink if nothing else just to keep you alive for a while longer until your KOS.

Hit Nub Pad Enter to switch to 3rd person. I prefer this view too. U can set is as default view in the settings menu

Ah that would explain it, I logged out yesterday with a pretty good character but when I logged back in I was on the beach and was like noooooooooooo. This makes me feel a bit better lol. Although hasnt taken me that long to get back to near enough where I was. :)

Its always a toss up though isnt it. You meet a stranger in this environment and the instant thought upon seeing them is 'whats his deal? is he friendly or will he try and kill me'. In the paranoia one person draws their weapon just in case and thats it, a hostile action has been taken and its war lol. I entered a control tower yesterday and a guy was stood their, I already had my axe drawn and he was on open mic and shouted "I'm Friendly, please don't kill me" I put my axe away and we went our separate ways. Its the apocalypse lol, the idea is to survive and if the guy in front of you has something you want and you have the ability to take it to better yourself, chances are people are going to. Put aside the 12 year olds that do it for fun and the rest of it is just tactics... or morals lol

I loved the mod even if it did run away and get silly sonetimes. Im looking forward to a more refined version with all the promised addons and perks. Im here to see progression and watch how it transforms. Today i ran into a air control tower with a shovel and came face to face with a guy who was on open mic. He screamed please dont kill me im friendly and ran off. I lol'd 1. Because i didnt realise u coukd do that and 2. Its nothing i expected. Loved it and looking forward to more of it. Dayz is buggy and is going to be buggy for a long time yet. Is aloha too late, possibly.. but i like it and enjoy the on edge suspense of scenarios like that.

Must hate people like me who close doors behind me lol. Luring people into a sense of 'oh it hasnt been looted yet.' But no... ive been lol. I joined quite a popular server and a lot had already gone but ive found looting dead bodies is very rewarding.
