Mamma needs a new graphics card. :) Been pushing this 460 for two years. I think I bought a freak - it's run everything I have thrown at it. I think Planetside 2 uses the main processor though, (i7) so it's been been great with that. Hello Christmas!

-maxMem=2047 -maxVRAM=2047 -cpuCount=4 -exThreads=7 I got rid of the nosplash etc as it was causing more problems than it solved. To be honest, I wish I'd just left everything as it was. It was running fine and looked good without any messing. I've been playing with the video settings, overclocking etc and it is worse than ever. Gah.

I am loving almost everything so far - apart from listening to French or English or whatever dudes having a constant chat wherever I am - even miles away. This isn't necessarily a DayZ bug - if you are going to constantly chatter - DO IT ON TEAMSPEAK or skype or something. Leave the game chat for game chat, please.

I understand you can open tins/cans with a bayonet? How? Tried putting the tin in my hand / dragging bayonet over and vice-versa. I'm not getting any "use" menu options. He's properly hungry, too. Please helps him. :D

Damn, I thought I'd purchased the full release because nobody warned me or anything. :P I understand it's a bug - I just don't think in game is where you should constantly discuss what you had for your supper. I think some people's keys are stuck. I can hear them blowing their nose, farting and possibly worse but my French isn't too good.

I jumped over a 1st floor barrier instead of taking the stairs and he started moaning. Maybe you jumped off something? He wasn't moaning before that. But, I am currently covered in bandaged wounds and been grey/blurred for about 3 hours. If anyone would like to trade any of my crap for some antibiotics and water, give me shout!

Just so you know. Tried the Steam launch options. With the nosplash etc, was awful. Removed those and just went for mem options. Was...worse. Removed them from the launch options and actually finding it much better with just a moderate overclock. (30-50 FPS) Specs: Core i7 870 @ 2.93Ghz (8 CPUS) 6 GB RAM GTX 460 (1 GB onboard) It's an Acer Predator G5900 but with a GTX460 - I don't know what they have done but it just seems to work like a dream with most games if you leave it the f*** alone. It runs Planetside 2 on high settings easily (without overclock). When I tried the geforce recommended settings (on PS2) it looked like shit. I cranked them back up and still no problems. Maybe it's witchcraft.

I have searched and I may have missed this - does the bug reporting login require a new registration? i.e. is it different from my Forum login details? Is it my Steam login? Or should I register again? Thanks.

Thanks. I thought that may be the case. And don't worry - I will make sure I search, first. I'm not a "techie" but have been involved in software design for a small business, so am aware of the nuisance of bug reporting. :) (Quite often used to be someone standing over my shoulder shouting "this bit isn't f***ing working and why isn't there a f***ing button to f***ing do this f***ing thing that only I need") :D I've been scribbling notes as I play, I'm sure most will have been picked up already. Great post! Question: I have a GTX 460 graphics card with 1024 dedicated memory, but 3853 "Available". Which one should I choose? Or shall I just suck it and see?

Did that work cross-server? I only played the Mod a few times early doors.

I'd quite like the ability to "hide" some gear. Maybe dig a hole or something. Probably have to put a cap on the amount (a waterproof bag or something) so people don't just horde everything. That way, (depending how long you've survived & how much stuff you have acquired) you'll not necessarily lose everything you own & obviously care more about living or dying. It would also give a reason to use more of the map (stash your stuff up in the hills/forests). There'd have to be a mechanism for it to save so it is still there if you move to a different server. (Caveat: Unless this is in fact already possible, I haven't tried yet...)

But, if we could call in a supply drop, why would we not just get the plane to land and get the hell out?
