The 760 GTX gives you a good performance for the money. If you don't want to spend so much money the 7870XT is also a very good choice to be honest or maybe the 7950 with 3GB of memory instead of 760 2GB. AMD cards just got their price drop because they just announced their new card, maybe you could wait abit longer for more price drops? I have the 760GTX. Very solid card for the price. It bottlenecks abit on Very High so i have to put it abit lower on High. The 770 will run on very high with no problem.

What i call a PVP server is a server with 40+ population on public hive. Just find the most populated server and u can find many PVP in Cherno/Elektro/NWAF. Be ready because everyone has DMR with NVG that come there to PVP lol.

Careful when landing between trees. Sometimes the floor is slightly curved and will slidedown near the trees. Have this happening many times. I wouldn't park on buildings unless u have hoarded all the helicopter/biplane. Some one can just use the parachute and jack your helicopter. Best is just to find a nice spot near the border of the map.

Theres a big difference between playable and a slideshow. Your laptop will not maintan a playable FPS in cities. If you can handle 10-20fps unlike many of us. Go ahead and play. This will run perfect on Normal with Full HD 100% 3D resolution. Friend has the GTX660. Definetely 60+FPS outside towns. However in towns you will notice a big fps drop to 30 because of the strain on the cpu.

When ammo is going to be more scarce, the zombies could use some nerving. also Hatched will become more sought after then a gun.. So if loot will only spawn once. Will that not only endorse people hopping servers to get good loot?

Could be because of the new loot spawn condition. You have to get out of town and re"enter to make the loot spawn. When you run too fast into a town, barely nothing will be spawned.

Are you flying the Biplane? I got told that putting flaps down will make it easier to lift off. Maybe other way around.

Before, Everyone was complaining there was no loot on 1.7.7.1 and now its the opposite? They could atleast make food rarer, The loot spawn on 1.7.7.1 was bullsh1t. You run through few towns and theres only few piles spawned due to new spawn conditions. I don't really care about Military Spawns or ghilli, I just want to get a Compass, Map, Hatchet etc. Basic items to survive in the wild before i leave the town. on 1.7.7.1 i could barely find them and had to force the loot piles to be spawned and that was tedious. The military spawn is good in cities. The game isn't made to be played on empty servers... You risk going to military buildings to get good loot, but hey. The game is dead and there you have it. No thrill to loot them to get good stuff. Lets feed the noops with easy gameplay or we don't have anyone to PVP with. Making the game harder just will make the population drop even more like now already. I want to pvp more cod kids.

Could you give us an insight the minimum FPS you get in Cherno/Elektro? The turbo-boost is nice on a 4700MQ. Should be around 3.2GHZ with good cooling. Unplayable. Minimum FPS 30-40FPS in Towns depending on Object Details/Anti-Aliasing. Friend has exactly the same cpu lol and the GPU is 660 though. Is this the regular 650 without TI? Then low on Full HD. Somewhat bottleneck on the CPU in towns. Overclock that CPU i'd say. If game use more threads then 2 effectively then different story. Amd known to have poor single thread performance wich also effects dayz performance.

Because you make too much speed then the helicopter is making a sharp dive w/e to stop the speed to 0. If you are gonna try to go down/up it might make a stupid turn wich will make you crash. Went through like 4/5 of them like this xD

Most likely a bored hacker. They can't ride vehicles anymore that is not repaired so they have to repair it now i guess and they just ride it for fun and don't really care hiding it. I don't think anyone would go through so much time just to repair a vehicle and leave it somewhere stupid. Few hackers did this on my server and leave them on the middle of the road.

Are you kidding? The game runs fine here on 630m here. Hes saying its stuttering, not lagging. What you can try to do is to change to power options to high performance. And set Arma 2 OA profile in nvidia control panel to high performance to make it use the 650M. Is your laptop getting cooled enough? Laptop gpu are known to clock them extremely down when getting too hot. I use a laptop external cooler for that. And maybe your cpu is also overheating? Does this only happen in windows 8?

GTX 765M is on par with the 560TI and your laptop gpu should run on normal fine. I think the 40fps is the minimum fps you can get in town as it should perform similair to 4670k with turbo-boost. U might have to turn down the settings to low to record.

the 7770 is slower then the GTX 650. It should be on par with the 7850/7790. It won't have much impact on the minimum FPS since the Towns are known to hog the CPU mostly. With the 7770, It might not be playable on Full HD with very low settings. You would have to turn down the 3D resolution If you might want to get the settings to normal and that could make it all look blurry. The minimum FPS would be like 25-30 in Towns. I'm not sure how the game performs on dual core processor"Since this game doesn't use more then 2 cores here". In this case your GPU is a huge bottleneck here and won't be playable until u lower the resolution to 1024x800 to very low. It was somewhat playable on my GT 630 but around 1024x800 too. I can't say for sure its playable on GT 610.

That will yield 5-10FPS more in towns. It has a nice Turbo to 4.0GHZ

On that rig you will do fine on normal. Maybe not on Full HD with 100% 3D resolution but when you lower them abit you should be fine. "Assumption from the 650TI" You could get a cpu bottleneck in towns giving you low minimum FPS. But shouldn't be less then 30. I think it shouldn't be that much different from a phenom x4.

I have a similair system but overclocked to 4.6GHZ. My Rig is still bottlenecked on the CPU on MAX settings. Still the best performance you can get! From my experience the lowest FPS you can get is around 40 in Towns if we are speaking about MAX here with the cpu hogging anti-aliasing and object details to high. Overall it should be around 50-80FPS with reasonable settings in cherno/elektro. 40% overclock...Why the blatant system builder lie again? that makes it 4.9GHZ...And you need to be super lucky to get your hands on those Golden Chip that overclock that high before the high volts will kill your cpu. I would also invest on a better motherboard. The motherboard has only 4 cpu power phases, wich will pull down the potentional overclock down.You might not able to see a stable 4.5ghz on that cheap z87 motherboard. Keep in mind you also need a Good dual rad water cooler to keep that thing cool around those clocks, And those don't really come that cheap either :p. My 4770k reaches 80C on load on 4.6GHZ. And beyond that the volts will get to high.

Your joking right with a 550TI? Semi-High settings? No way! Maybe on ridiculous 3d low resolution. I Owned a 570GTX in the past and it couldn't run what you say, OK on max lol. That card trumps the 550TI and its not even a good card.

On 1.7.7 i could use a regular makarov ammo on a makarov sd weapon. I think m9 SD doesn't accept normal m9 ammo.

I'd say playable. You can play the game fine with lower 3D resolution on low/normal.

I don't understand you people... First everyone was whining how rare loot was.on 1.7.7 and now its the opposite? Loot barely spawned on 1.7.7. I could go to NWAF and go through all barracks and only find 3/2 piles of loot. Making the loot piles too rare to spawn. will just force people to cycle them... You know the loot tables were already reworked and items spawn now much rarer? It was probably a bug with the loot mechanic wich is atleast corrected now. I don't find myself empty handed with no loot when going through cities or key places... And come on. Lets not separate the common player with the hardcore players by just making the game more tedious and favor the elites. I can barely find populated public servers to PVP on these days...

If you have a SVD and want to keep it. Don't login with it on 1.8. My SVD is now gone when rolling back to .1.7.7

I don't like the UI, They don't fit the style of the game. It's all Kiddy. Posted already by some one els but i can't use my SVD. Damn the BAG sound shocked the hell out of me too LOL. It sounds like some one farted really loud. Logging in and loading times are alot faster now!
