Best way to test would be you playing it on his laptop. If it works well he can buy it and the files are already on his computer :P

You could be on the "wrong floor" some doors look like they can open, but actually it's the door below you that you get the option for. other than that scroll usually works better than the icons.

Wow, that is a tough question, but since VR-engine games always are tough on the processor i would have to say: Probably not The game runs much better than arma 2, but it's still far from optimized, and in cities the performance often drops a lot. How about you playing it on his laptop and see how it goes? Edit: ofc things will change, remember that it is still in very early alpha! Also, there is an option somewhere in the files to reduce viewdistance, that will give him a couple of more fps.

Most high value target use KoS anyway, and there would be no reason for awesome gear unless you wanted to pvp, so tell him that those are free game, while sparing those without guns who do not approach. There is a reason why you would KoS in real life, but if there is no threat posed, then there is no reason to give your position either. I love firefights (hate dying), the thrill of being ambushed (taking cover and returning fire), is fun. I do detest the whole killing freshies by the coast etc. If he gets bored he could camp the NWAF or something.

I've found 2 stones while playing, the flavor text says they are used in making fireplaces. Found them both in Electro residentials.
