Took the developers two years to copy and paste the engine from Arma 2 to create this game's engine. I'm not critiquing their ability to code, I'm critiquing their ability to copy and paste and change a few lines.

I like you sir, please take my beans!!! Don't get your hopes up for that stamina buff, because that would take at least a year to implement and when it does come in, it'll be buggy and wont work. I'm not going to play another game because I like this game, but the progress is just too damn slow!

This is not about it being a buggy mess etc etc, this is nothing go to do with the developers warning that the game is unfinished, my initial post was regarding the developers speed of forwarding patches due to the recent SA alpha release. My point was that at such a early and vulnerable state of the game, the developers decided to take a vacation and did not deliver their promise of a pre Christmas patch. I am not ungrateful nor an uniformed consumer, I am pissed off of the post release decisions made by the developers, not about the actual content of the Alpha. Please know what I am arguing before you address me and attempt to belittle me. No sorry we are both, I paid money for this game = CUSTOMER. Don't get me wrong, I love this game, I've spent over 60 hours into it. But Jesus Christ its die hard fan boys such as you that really pisses me off, as you's cannot take even a little criticism of the game before immediately jumping on the offence and labeling people such as me as an 'idiot, kid, baby or whiner'. Before you accuse me or others of being a kid, please put at least a little effort into reading your writing before posting, after all you are an 'Adult', as you like to put it.

So because its an Alpha and we were presented with a warning message, there cant be any negative chatter or criticism on the forums? And if it is dished out it must be labeled as whining?

First of all, the total number of posts I have made in the forums has nothing to do with deciding the integrity of my argument. Secondly, yes they have worked hard and yes they deserve a nice long break, but Jesus Christ not immediately after releasing the long awaited Dayz standalone alpha version. I would have rather preferred the developers to release the SA post Christmas, not before hand and leaving some ground breaking bugs for the playerbase to deal with for a whole month. It is very much unacceptable. Thirdly, perhaps some of the developers are still working on it, yet no patch has seen for a week, what are they doing? Cleaning their computer screens?

Heard Rocket took a 1 month break. Don't know if this is true could anyone confirm? I understand it is the christmas holidays but when you release an alpha especially for such a game with high levels of community hype and demand, a 1 month break is unacceptable post release.
