But i think both would be possible, if you oneclick a door it swings wide opon and if you hold the button and move your mouse u can regulate it analog. So you would have both options... running from zeds>>open door fast>>close door fast but also hear voices in a building>>sneak to the door>>open it up a bit>>take a sneaky look I don´t think open doors should sway in both directions. It will be horrible if you´re outside and someone is inside a building. -

Pease ad weaponslings, strings to loottable. Craftable and only with those slings you can put guns to your shoulder. Maybe more than one gun but only after implementing the weight and stamina system. I know its low priority but this picture just told me how important this little thing is.

Welcome! But you join the party at a stage of development where its really hard to stay close to the game because there is much going on we don´t see right now. The patches are really rare atm because they implement the new engine or parts of it and this takes a huge amount of time. In this time we, the players, see no progress of development and because of that many people are angry. It seems there is no development at all but after those big changes enginesided, the development will speed up again. -

I dont like the idea of knowing what to get where. I woul prefer another specialization. Maybe it would be better if you find more stuff that will fit together with the life of the resident who lived in this house. For example you find a house from a guy who liked hiking and camping so you would find stuff wich he used in his life before he became infected. Maybe so called presets. Hunter preset, Policeman preset, fireman preset, farmer preset, soldier preset etc. Something like bundles. If you loot the house of a hunter you´ll probably find more hunting clothes and equipment than a farming hoe. Huntingknive, a B95 with some rounds, hunting jacket and stuff you need to go hunting. I understand your wish to "buff" the civilian weapons against military weapons and I agree absolutely with you. It´s just to easy to get a high tier military gun than a civil weapon with enough rounds. But if it happens a lot more, that a gun and the fitting ammunitio spawns in the same house it would buff those civil weapons to and will makes more sense. I always thought about it like... mmmmhhhh why the guys who bought this guns have no ammunition for it in there house? -
I took a look which charakter I´m on at public... I forgot how good I was geared as I played the last time ^^

Damn I wrote a wall of text and the forum kicked me out so my written content is gone. I make it short now. I think NPCs would be a great addition to the immersive dayz gameplay. Different options came to my mind. Helicopters realy crash - You can see helicopters crashing, maybe catch their Mayday radiograms. Roaming around Militia/Evacuation transports - Dont get me wrong, Not like in ArmA with message in your face and marker on map. You can stumble upon them or catch their radiograms for info what they are doing and where they are heading. Abandoned Survivorcamps/Banditcamps - If abandoned with many MANY infected roaming around. You could find stuff for your own base. Bandits are hostile. Barricaded houses - With one to maybe five survivors in it - friendly or hostile. I know many would say most of this could be managed playerwise BUT like hicks said human players are to clever... to sit in a barricaded house or stay at their base till a few players are roaming by. There are jobs which AIs/NPCs could make better.

I touht about it twice... to be honest, roaming AI and NPC survivors >> mod, and only abandoned safehouses and real crashing helis in vanilla. Maybe you're right, NPC and vanilla dayz doesn't fit together.

I just like the idea to use the radio or other different items more often. I think it would be awsome if you have your radio on and a sort of "Mayday Mayday...ksshhzzz... theyre coming at us...kssshh... were trying to head to Zel..kshhhdzzzd..." - silence.

I understand that and I think many players thinkin the same way. Maybe its content for a mod... but to be honest the last time I played DayZ and my story didn´t end up in a firefight was on a whitelisted RP Server. And I dont think that the Story people creating themselves will get destroyed by NPC´s... it would be rather a small addition to the storys which will be created in DayZ.

I like realism ingame but that's a bit irritating. For example you're roaming around with three friends and everybody is falling alternately in a row. Maybe just if you're low on blood, something like feeling dizzy and then this will raise the chance your falling on ground. -
Someone played neo scavanger? There the best thing you could find to store your gear was a shopping cart or a red plastic sled. :D I liked this idea and the shopping cart would make awful noise which attracts zombies as hell... a trolley would be nice to have!

Nice edited and the content is ok but pls dont let your 8 year old cousin watch this game. And If I would encounter a 10 year old girl/boy I would advise him/her to stop playing and let him/her alone.

Display own blood type in inventory screen

Mmhhhh walls of text because of a small indicator of your blood type? Na.. ok it's this discussion about realism versus game design. I think stuff like that should be "allowed". I would like to see a medical screen where I can check which leg, arm or ankle is broken. Something like in Zomboid maybe... -
Yeah, timelimit in form of goods which get consumed. And loggin off while being atacked shouldnt be possible...true! Thats another good Idea I think. Im really excited which mechanics the devs will implement. Another thing is maintainance of bases. Hicks wrote one time he wont see some weird looking bases where foundations despawned because the base isnt in use anymore, like in Miscreated, exile, ark etc. Maybe it would be good to let the base degrade from the top of the Y-axis so the top things start to despawn first. i dont think physics will come into play because of serverperformance. And the maintanance should be done by loot. In a Base menu you have to put tools and resources to reset the degrade timer and you wont need to repair every single thing to restart the despawn/degrade timer.

... pls dont hit me! But I want an NPC in my base who sends out emergency radiograms to my walkie talkie if me and my mates are roaming arround chernarus and someone tries to enter our base. For shure everybody can hear those calls if they are on the same radio channel. If I give him an M4 with scope and ammunition i should be able to work as a guard if we are not online. He costs food and resources over time. I now this never will happen but I like the Idea :) I would prefer a more safety way of basebuilding, because if its to easy to break inside, everybody just takes barrels again and hides them into trees to save their gear. If a base is too easy to raid it just makes no sense to build one. I would prefer a system where its nearly impossible to break in except teh owners are online. The devs want bases which fit in the style and design of the game. You cant build beautiful bases if they are easy to raid. We need to get rid of those stashes safed on the mapedge. I want to roam arround and see a barrickaded house and it fits in the envoirnment. I dont want to layout my base so no Helicopter can land in it to raid it the easy way. I want to build a beautiful nerd RP base.

THIS...I thought so often about it. The different stages of pristine to ruined have to impact the gameplay much more! And if your backpack is badly damaged youl will randomly loose stuff out of your backpack. At first small items like single rounds, canopener, supressors etc...

I HOPE its not the final version of inv system. I thought its a rough version and design, volume and weight will be implemented or? I think it has to wait till new char controller and new endurance system will be integrated. Edit: I think, what you are describing, is the inventory system of Life is feudal. The only factors, which restricting the inventory, are size and weight. I like your idea! By the way and offtopic, because of basebuildig, there are some really good mechanics in this game.

This will be a real nice Mod! I just have to think about how your charakter always starts to "F11" because hes so sad and alone... no but I like your ideas alot, keep them up until modding is available! -
Sling plus stamina and weight overhaul... that's how it should be.
